I recently stayed at the Jewel Hotel and had an outstanding experience. The hotel's location by the beach is perfect for all types of travelers. Traveling with my husband and my 2-year-old, I was delighted to find that the room was prepared with a small cot for her upon our arrival — Thank you, Gabriel! The food was excellent across the various restaurants within the hotel, offering a delightful culinary experience with different types of food on their menus. The hotel boasts numerous swimming pools (yes, the water is warm!), adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff were super friendly, always greeting us with smiles and a warm demeanor. I was particularly charmed by the Dominican tradition of responding "excellent" when asked how they are and greeting guests with their hand over their heart. Our room was impeccably cleaned and tidied each day by Angelito, who was incredibly adorable and attentive. The hotel also offered great activities for children, with Mirian doing an amazing job entertaining them. In the restaurants, the service was exceptional, especially from Daniela and Sthephany, who were very welcoming at the door, and Eduarda, Shaina, and Lucy, who served us greatly. One of the highlights of my stay was the hydrotherapy session. The 1-hour treatment was amazing and provided a great relaxing moment during my stay. The gym facilities were top-notch, providing a great workout experience. Henry, the personal trainer, was very supportive and offered excellent tips on how to use some of the machines and correct my posture during my workout sessions. Additionally, the little store inside the hotel sells coral-friendly sun cream, which I highly recommend everyone buy either before their stay or at the venue. This helps us do our best to protect the nature we care to visit. Every morning my husband ordered two barista coffees for us to have with our breakfast that were prepared by Jenniffer at the Cocoa Cafe.

This was our seventh time to Punta Cana. The grounds and the buildings were beautiful. The restaurants were wonderful and the food very tasty.

This was our birthday/anniversary trip and we expected a room with a better view. Not looking at some sheds. I will put photos of our view. We did not use the balcony at all. There were lots of party people in our building and they kept us up late. We are older travelers. Evening entertainment was very poor, except the Michael Jackson Show. He is great and we saw him last time in another resort.

Everything especially the front desk staff who assisted us at check in during the night. I wish I got their names but the best one is the one wearing the glasses and he said that he has a Chinese blood. He’s really nice and a very people person. Seems like talking to a good friend. The other guy who also checked us in is also nice. He gave us a little gift to check out until 2PM the next day as we checked in really late and knew that I’m celebrating my bday and our anniversary.

Bathroom, coral market ventilation and lighting and souvenirs by the gift shop. We stood in Rm. #5310. Shower was open. Water splashed allover the place. We have to hardly press the flush button all the way so it will go through. Coral market buffet was really hot and very dark for dinner. I hope they consider installing an A/C or more fans and a little more lighting. We bought a magnet in the souvenir shop and when we came back home, it was already broken and unassembled. I have to reattach everything to give out to my friends and family.

I like the service, facilities, room, food and the beach.

the only thing that it needs is night life! don’t have a disco, and the casino is closed. They have show and music only till 11pm and then you are obligated to go sleep because is not nothing more. something I like is the people staying most of them are young so we need more variety of music. like merengue salsa more tropical not only in English. I used to put music on my phone and the people come around to listen because the hotel not have any at night. and the music of the pool it needs to be more tropical vibe not only english. is a good hotel but at night is boring. I love the hotel but if this it not changed I will decide getting other hotel next time.

Bathroom needed towel hooks, the beach was okay, the vip service was okay to the price paid, in terms of quality. The pool was excelent. Dominican cuisine options were intentionally good but I could tell the salami wasn’t what typical Dominicans like myself have. Same as the fried cheese, pieces were cut too thick. Mangu was ok, lacked the onions and vinaigrette.

The beach wasn’t was what I was expecting, it was not that blue. Macao beach was better, blue waters and clean. Needs night life for adults after 11pm at least til 2-3am.

The restaurants , buffet, restrooms, bars, pools and rooms were very clean.

We upgraded to VIP which gave us a better room but on day two the ceiling in the bathrooms was leaking steadily, they came to fix it and mud it but the leak wasn’t fixed so the drywall mud made a mess on the restroom floor as it dripped down with the water so they had to come back again. The VIP top shelf drinks were no where to be found but in the one adult area and they ran out of JackDaniels after one day and it never got replenished. Every VIP area no one asked of we were VIP so really anyone could go wherever. Not sure why we paid more. One room did have a beach view which was nice and our room was larger. The Italian restaurant was horrible with wait times literally multiple families came and went and we finally got our food. The food everywhere was fresh and amazing thought.

Smaller, Boutique All Inclusive that felt free from crowds and rowdy people. The other guests were behaved, the service great, and all staff was friendly and respectful to my young children. The food was excellent!

Sargassum is in bloom and totally hitting this beach. They are doing there best, but I am one of the lucky ones who is allergic which meant pool time for our family and staying clear of the beach. However, we had spent 2 weeks surfing up at Macao beach just north, which was sargassum free.

Our room was spacious and had a lovely view. We loved being right on the beach and having access to plenty of food, shopping, and activities without even leaving the resort. We even ended up scheduling a photo session right at the hotel and had the most stunning family portraits to remember our trip! Our entire family was impressed by the beauty around us.

We have small kids, so having a few more kid friendly options like life vests by the pool would have been helpful. As parents we struggle to relax on vacation and those small things mean a lot!

We had a very nice stay, very clean, good food and nice Staff.

The beach was beautiful and clean, just where we wanted to be all day BUT the tour staff on the beach are Very Rude and always shouting and talking about their personal problems!!! Please provide some protocol information to them so the visitors that go to enjoy peace and quite at the beautiful beaches can enjoy their stay, Thank you

The beach wasn't very good because of all the seaweed that was present. The pools definitely made up for the lack of beach. My son loved the swim up bar and I liked the availability of umbrellas by the pool. I liked our room, as far as comfort goes.

I didn't like our third floor room. It would have been acceptable if the hallways were air conditioned but they are not and are the same temperature as the outside air because they are opened to the outside on all ends. Very uncomfortable walking up the three flights and sweating the entire time. Of course I am older. It didn't seem to affect my son at all. I was disappointed in the fact that all ads stated that the rooms had a mini bar. Ours had a bottle of coke and bottles of water. On our last evening a can of beer was placed in our refrigerator. I guess that qualified as a mini bar. Also, the air conditioning in all the indoor restaurants was not working and we all had to sweat while eating.
