The staff are wonderful people with great customer service skills (all you have to do is ask, they will do their best to help). The Palmetto hotel is kept very clean, cool and simple. I feel safe (CCTV cameras), comfortable (firm beds), and all at an affordable price (breakfast included). I travel to Santiago about 3 times per year and Palmetto Hotel is always my first choice.

There is nothing I don't like about this hotel. However maybe consider a microwave and trash bin in the room if possible.

This hotel is very clean and the staff is very courteous. The price is great and it's in a good location. There is a mall, a bank, pharmacy, hospital, not to mention the many restaurant options nearby. I will definitely be staying here again in the future. If you are looking for a safe, simple, clean place to stay with hot water, wifi, AC and breakfast included, this is perfect for you. FYI Guests must request maids for room cleanings.

Adding a microwave and coffee maker to the rooms would be a nice touch.

A mini shopping mall and movie cinema is 2 buildings to the left. A grocery store is 6 min walk to the right. A hospital is across the road. Room super clean super comfortable. Staff were top notch service. I had to leave some drinks and snacks behind cause I was traveling and the maids bagged up all I left behind and found me and tried to tell me I left it behind. I had to tell them to keep it cause I left it on purpose so honestly goes all the way deep down to the cleaning service at this hotel. Thank you Jose for helping me settle in and making the whole process simple and comfortable.

There’s a bit of traffic noise but once you turn on the Tv is drowns it out a bit.

The room was clean. The AC was perfect. Good size TV. The mini fridge worked great. I put some drinks in it and they were cold in a bit. The room size was not that big, it actually looks bigger in the pictures but is a decent size, great bed size, it has a closet with hangers. A table, y space to put your luggage. The breakfast was great, good taste. As a coffee lover can say the coffee they serve is really great. Really loved the breakfast on the rooftop.

The receptionist who assisted us when we checked. He had an attitude I didn't. I asked for ice and 2 glases for a champagne I had which I brought because they didn't sell it. After about an hour he brought only the ice, no glases. Also, one of the towels had like a dirt or stain, I'm not sure, I call reception and told him one of the towels was kind of dirty, he replied "it may be stained but not dirty"

The breakfast was just ham and cheese, cofee and cheese. The location is noisy (cars buses, and trucks could be heard all night). but close to the mall and restaurants which is a positive.

I liked the staff, i liked that it was a safe location, I liked that the location was near a mall and alot of restaurants.

Very nice staff, good cleanliness and breakfast was 👍🏽 walking distance from shopping good food options and overall neighborhood felt safe

Slight odor in room and construction noise during my stay

The Palmetto hotel was very accommodating to my husband and I during our stay. They allowed us to check in early since we had an early morning flight arrival time and all of the staff were very hospitable. From Isabella to Willy ^-^ The rooms were very clean, you could smell the bleach every morning in the hallway and breakfast was always on time. The best part was the hotel was located within walking distance of malls, shopping, restaurants, etc.

My husband is vegan so we thought there would be fruit included for breakfast but only omlettes and potatoes :-(

The Wi-Fi just goes on and off for sometime but not too bad just have to wait when it does that but most of the time the Wi-Fi is working.

Correct, but breakfast is starting at 7:30 am. Too late if you need to he at 7:30 in the hospital.

Only handshower. If you want that they clean the room and doing the beds, you need to inform the reception. Otherwise no paper and no towels.

Breakfast was excellent and the serving staff very attentive and pleasant. The room was good but needed more hooks to hang towels and clothes on.

The door to our room was difficult to close completely.
