-clean private beach -big rooms -nice personnel -comfortable beds -big internal/private pool, sun beds -free parking

-the position advertised on booking is not accurate. The hotel is 500m away from that position, but still a good area, with private beach. -food could be better -personnel insists on calling a taxi, which will then charge you almost 10 usd for 2-3km /2 miles.

I loved the lay out to accomodate lots of people and no one had to wait. Your staff is amazingly polite and always willing to serve with a smile. Your food was great for a buffet. Overall I was very satisfied and I will refer you to family and friends. I will also return again. Thx Marien for making my stay a wonderful experience and see you again.

The ocean didn’t have sand and only pebbles on bottom. But not a huge problem

Marien is very nice and welcoming. The VIP staff was very helpful and nice. All the staff in the VIP area by the buffet are very helpful and always there for your convenience. The pool is amazing, clean and very nice for little kids and adults. The shows are always very entertaining. And there is a lot of night entertainment after the show, disco, casino nearby. Lots of dining options to choose from. Our rooms were superior VIP. Very satisfied. Very nice clean Resort.

Brazil and Mexico restaurants are excellent,very good food and the staff is excellent,the pool is very comfortable,restaurant fast food very good,bar has excellent service,bedroom,bathroom very clean and staff are excellent

Buffet restaurant should improve the food,I think it is not appropriate for the image that is published in the resort,give it 6/10

Very well situated, pool area and buildings very nice

The beach outside the hotel vicinity was heavily polluted with debris and plastic in general. Even though it may not be in the responsibility of the hotel, the hotel must push the municipality to have this tidied up.

The property was nice. It really look likes as on the pictures. The room was older style, but clean and OK. We only stayed here for three nights. I am not a fun of all inclusive, except when I am with the kids, but for 2-3 days it was great. The hotel is directly at the beach, we didn’t use the pool at all. The only thing is, that I tried to change the booking, but they didn’t let me.

Everything was exceptional. Cleaning Staff working in the rooms and in the foodcourt need a raise, these guy's are so attentive on everything.

Some chefs were blaming the work they had while serving us, having to cook and check every worker of the staff at the same time. But we understand, they were overloaded with work.

This was my third visit to Marien Puerto Plata - All Inclusive and I enjoyed it. The room and bathroom were good and clean. The options of food were better from my last visit.

Perhaps do to the time of the month and/or season, but I wish the beach did not have all the seaweed and leaves. Otherwise, the beach water was great.

I loved the warm hospitality of it all especially the animation team, Jesus chocolate yandra will Wayne Roberto mosquito Felix Carlos, and last but not least Luisa who made my check in and check out excellent.

At the dinning area I observed servers talking with other servers while carrying drinks; leak from ceiling in bathroom and bedroom; poor communication from staff at reception area in night.
