Established by the family 30 years ago. Very hospitable and attentive staff. Home made, delicious, family style meals based on local cuisine. All presented in a pleasant, open-air setting. Personal food choices and dining schedule encouraged. Fresh fruit and juices. Landscaped surroundings with fruit trees and flowering plants. Very nice swimming pool. Pool table and basketball court. Charming and educational petting zoo nearby. Shady, safe parking on premises.

Hot water supply could be better. Music by the pool sometimes too loud and they will turn it down when asked.

The camp is very quiet and the staff extremely nice. They prepare fresh food every day, the passion juice is amazing ! If you like to be in the wild, away from noise it is the place to be !

The rooms are very basic and a few more furnitures would have been apreciated like à side table next to the bed. But this is just a detail

I loved the whole country side experience. Beautiful grounds. Cool fresh air. Roosters and creatures singing mornings and nights. Delicious meals. Extraordinary attention from owners and staff.

I didn't know I had to let the water run for a while to take a shower with warm water.. I took cold water showers. But I survived.

a beautiful and relaxing hacienda in the hills with plenty of space to get a little bit of much needed tranquility on your trip in the DR. highly recommend it, and the owner and staff were super easy going and helpful, always providing lots of nice food too!

The food was great and the location was breathtaking. The staff was exceptional, you couldn't ask for a better way to connect with nature.

I loved everything about Bohios. The hospitality was amazing and the food was delicious. They really make you feel part of their family. They tender to all your needs. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is the place to visit. I highly recommend it.

The water was very cold, the heater did not work, there is no fridge in the rooms, there are many mosquitoes..

Breakfast,lunch, and dinner was delicious, excellent
