The location is great, and the staff is super friendly and willing to help with any questions or issues you might have.

The wifi on the top floor needs to be reconfigured so its accessible to everyone (make sure you have data on your phone if staying on the 4th floor, that should help with combating the wifi issue). With any dated buildings there will be small issues, in our case it was minor leaks in different sections of the room (the rooms are beautiful though they just need a little maintenance work)

We stayed in room 200 and it was very hot because the AC faces to the door so the room doesn't get cold. This however was resolved when we got a fan ASAP which made it more comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, fresh and very homely. I was really impressed by the quality and presentation of the room. The staff were so nice especially the two gentleman at the front, one has excellent English and translated for us. Another lady with braid hair was also so sweet. The cleaners and other staff at the hotel were friendly and I would recommend the hotel for this reason. The location was very good as we were next to the Colonial area, sea and everything was in reach! Beautiful hotel!

I would not pick the breakfast option nor would I recommend getting food there. The options are just for show and the food is tasteless. Save yourself the money and buy food on the road because the restaurant is a joke. Service is also slow and the waiter was full of attitude and seemed to get upset when I questioned why for two days straight several items were not in stock or when i explained my allergies and why I didnt eat eggs! The hotel can do well without that ridiculous, unappealing restaurant and while the hotel was nice cheaper options were also nearby.

It was clean. Some of the staff spoke English. They were always friendly and tried to help where they could. The refrigerator was a good size. Air-conditioning worked nicely. There were no bugs. There was a nice patio on the 2nd floor where we could go outside and relax. The bed wasn’t terrible. The shower was always hot. we always felt safe.

These are just nitpicks, overall we were very happy. The window faced another building, so there was no view whatsoever. They only had one key for the two of us, when we asked for another one they didn’t have it. The door didn’t have a deadbolt, just a simple lock on the knob. The staff didn’t know anything about the buses. whenever we asked how to get somewhere, they just said a taxi or Uber. We had to figure out ourselves how to get to Juan Dolio beach: you can just walk/drive to Enriquillo Park, and take a bus for 150 dop. We weren’t that impressed with the breakfast, and we were glad we didn’t pay extra for it.

Breakfast was poor. The only bad part of our stay, and we both agreed, was the breakfast server. She behaved like serving us was coming our of her pocket. Terrible way to end a great stay, I still tipped her $5, but would prefer she was not there when I return.

I was sitting there for ten minutes without her even saying good morning or offering a coffee. My buddy told me you have to get ger attention and ask for everything. Crappy service. Ten pieces of small bread, no jam or peanut butter. Wish I had taken a picture. Probably better breakfast in jail. Probably served friendlier too.

The staff was very professional and helpful. My wife had surgery across the street, so this location was convenient. We even informed the doctor, who was unaware of this location, and they mentioned recommending it to others due to its close proximity and my wife's positive feedback about her stay.

Hotel is in the centre of the city, walking distance to the historic centre. It owns a free private parking. Rooms are clean, big, with a TV set and fridge. Bathroom is with the toiletries and towels. For breakfast you order 4 things from the menu (still better than nothing ;) . Personnel is kind and helpful.

In our room there wasn't good WIFI signal sometimes.

The attention given from the staff, and great pricing. The restaurant was also a great addition to our stay(included in our room price). The food and coffee were delicious and the staff was very attentive.

It was a fine hotel to spend a night. Everything functioned well, and I feel that the staff was responsive to our needs. At one point, we asked for help b/c there was a moldy smell in the room. The staff put a dehumidifier that took care of the problem while we were touring the city.

Elevator was small and some of the buttons were not in their prime condition. The WiFi wasn’t working on my floor.
