Very nice hotel. I would even consider is a hidden gem. Check in was very easy as I was the only one checking in at that moment. They require you to place a 20$ security deposit per room which they refund you at the time of checkout, so just keep that in mind. I was taken to my room which was on the second floor, and let me tell you that room was perfect! Its very aesthetically pleasing room. Very cozy and comfortable. the room had a bit of a smell to it when you first walked in, but it was was because of all the wood in there. There is a fully stocked fridge with diff. beer, water, soda, seltzer, milks and juice. The prices very per item. The bathroom had a nice rain shower with decent water pressure and there is hot water available. The AC in the room was very good too. The rooftop was very nice and perfect for pictures. The jacuzzi is not warm so remember that, going in when it's night time and a little chilly is not recommended. breakfast was very nice, they had some different options which was very nice. This hotel, from my observation, is more of a "passerby" hotel. It's very close to the Caribe Tours bus station and other transport spots. I checked out at like 930a and there were about 6 or 7 other guests checking out too. If you are trying to check out in a rush, make sure you do it with extra time. They have to go to your room and inspect if you consumed anything so they can charge you at check out, so remember to do that with ample time. I will deff. be staying here again. it's the perfect hotel for a night or two. Good location and easy to find.

One odd thing about the shower was the plastic curtain, it was HUGE! super long and the water and soap would constantly build up on it, which can be a breeding ground for bacteria. The bed was very comfortable but it would creek with every movement I did.

They have a barber service that the barber changes the price of the service when he sees that you are a foreigner. Be careful

The front desk staff were very kind, friendly, and accommodating. As an example, when I asked to buy milk from their convenience store and get some ice to make iced coffee, I was told that the hotel did not currently have any milk. One of the staff went out to a store, bought a small carton of milk and brought it to my room with a container of ice. That was very thoughtful. Some nice amenities included laundry services (socks and undergarments free, and $1 per regular clothing item), currency exchange (DOP to USD) at a very reasonable rate, shuttle services from the airport or to other locations for a fee, snacks and drinks conveniently for purchase in both the rooms themselves and a convenience store downstairs, a rooftop jacuzzi and patio, coffee in the morning, and cleaning upon request. Each room also comes with a Smart TV, A/C, towels, hair dryer, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, desk and chair, table lamp, and wifi. The wifi, however, can sometimes be spotty. The location is central and next to two very decent and reasonably priced restaurants. I want to thank Witho and the other staff for making our stay very comfortable. Muchas gracias!

Some things to note: 1) the hot water in the shower takes a few minutes to heat up, so it's best to turn it on and let it run for a bit before use. 2) Because the doors are made from wooden panels with space in between. Noise definitely travels. I'm not sure that a "quiet" room really exists. If your neighbors are engaging in spirited activities, for example, you will definitely hear more than you probably want to. 3) The wifi can be unreliable, depending on the day or hour, and you can't get it on the rooftop patio, which is too bad. 4) We booked a double, and our room felt a bit small. Perhaps there are other larger rooms, but the price for the stay per night was not bad. The shower is also a bit small, especially for tall guests.

Everything was extra! Even water they wanted to charge me 10x the price. 4 USD for a bottle of water that costs .20 USD. I replaced the water I drank and they were penny pinching. No coffee anywhere so I paid 5 usd for a small small cup of coffee in the morning instead of them offering to bring me some. The breakfast was on the roof but it's 4 stories up and I had a hurt foot so I couldn't climb up all those stairs. They saw me limping around and no one offered to bring me food or coffee.

The hotel is a rather old building that has been repurposed. It is quite charming. Because of the age, the doorways are a bit short, under 2 meters - about 6 feet. The staff were very nice.

The hotel takes Paypal as payment. I wasn't aware of this - it's not mentioned on their website or on booking.com. I haven't used Paypal in years, and could not get it to work with my new cards. They were trying to 2fa me on my Canadian phone number, which didn't have service in the DR. It was very frustrating.

I honestly thought that breakfast would have been a hot breakfast,but found a cold croissant,banana and canned juice.But we had a great coffee served directly on the top roof with a very quite atmosphere. Location was wonderful,service great, and the idea of the breakfast in a basket outside the door is very cool and original. Love it.

I would not complain about it, but just because I'm asked and to help you guys do even better (I work in the tourism sector too 🤗): soap dispenser in the shower is not working, only one roll of toilet paper, already used and no spare roll , internet was not stable and TV does not work without internet:can't use it if internet does not work. No price list for drinks (nobody wants to be surprised the day after with an unexpected bill)Just few little details insignificant for me but that might be significant to another customer. Your place is great and I will come back for sure. Thanks you all

Such a cute Hotel! My room was kinda small, but really cozy! Like a cuddly cave. The room was excellent equipped, even with a microwave. They have Netflix, Amazon Prime and other programs on the TV. AC in the room worked excellent. Breakfast was small but good. They have a cozy rooftop terrace with a Whirlpool. For a couple of days to experience Santo Domingo really recommended. Will definitely stay again.

I am not certain about locations in Santo Domingo. It was an OK location, the Zona Colonial is 45 minutes by foot and there is a big shopping center around 20 minutes by foot. For me it was fine, but I guess there are better located Hotels.

The location was very convenient. The receptionist spoke English and was very polite.

In one of our rooms, the internet didn't work. Breakfast: We asked the receptionist in the evening when we moved in about the possibility of having breakfast an hour earlier. He told us that we could go upstairs and the staff would be preparing food at the time and we could ask for a sandwich. So we waited till half an hour. There was nobody there. When we were leaving a lady came upstairs with frozen sausages. So for us, there was no breakfast.

The rooms are quite a good size , the location is great, price is great as well . Staff is very friendly and helpful. It was clean everywhere the bed is comfy. You have everything you needed even a toothbrush and toothpaste, which I never find even in an expensive places . Mini bar if you want to have a drink , a nice common area with jacuzzi on to roof.

No windows , actually I had kind of a really small one , but there was a wall right in front of it . And the bathroom is a little small. But I don't really care about it. A big person though might find it a little tide . Overall it is a great place.
