Perfect combination and location of the hotel: you can kite/watersport on premise but also are right in the middle of what cabarete has to offer: nightlife, restaurants, shops etc Nice Caribbean atmosphere with a soulful touch: still feels Caribbean and not a generic apartment/ hotel Breakfast is varied and it includes a lot of food sortiments Great happyhour offers, and in general food is delicious and varied; Dominican and mongolian buffet are excellent initiatives Im a return customer, after staying here in 2024 , I returned in 2025 Rooms are large and comfortable with aircon Staff is great!

Massage/spa parlour are gone this year? Every 4* hotel should have such facilities and the massage/costmetic treatments should be available on site More entertainment during the evenings: live music for instance like the saxophone player on Wednesdays, it was fantastic Better quality bathroom products: your gel/shampoos are awful and they stink! had to use own products :( that is a disappointment Sun chairs/lounges look quite old school and cheap (plastic ones) comparing to the neighbours facilities. Please invest in better options and make sure to have them available from the beginning. Ideally you want to extend the bar service at the sun loungers on the beach (instead of always having to go to the bar/restaurant)

The location is great. The Serenade Bar is very nice because it is the quietest bar on the beach. If you are not at Serenade, you are at some other place with a blasting band or stereo, next door to another place with a blasting band or stereo. There is a lot of noise from competing music, but not at Serenade. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is very pretty.

There is the fire alarm which has a blinking white light that flashes every few seconds. There has to be a better fire protection system than that. Frankly, in that area, each room should probably have a dehumidifier. The room feels moist almost all of the time. I don't think any place would be any different, it is just where you are; things take forever to dry hanging on the balcony. So...other than the white blinking light, I like everything and would recommend it. One last thing, they need to throw out the exercise bicycles in the "gym" and get one decent treadmill.

The room was actually a studio with kitchen and a private terrace. Very quiet. Easy beach access. We opted for no meals and I am hapoy about that. The staff was fantastic! The a/c worked very well. Also there is plenty of lounges on the beach.

The WIFI was VERY slow. There is only parking for 3 vehicles. Fortunately, everything you need is within walking distance. I do not think the buffet breakfast was a good value. You can get a great breakfast and dinner nearby for half the price.

Loved the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. Wonderful selection of drinks at the bar, and places to sit on the beach.

I wish the shower had been a little more separate from the rest of the bathroom - it was hard to keep it clean. Also wanted a place to sit in the room other than the bed. The beds were also a little too hard for my liking.

the staff was very forthcoming to put my motorbike in a safe place. i had interactions with 3 staff members, all very polite, well educated and helpful. Congrats to all of them

a rather large hotel with very few parking spaces, than again there is a large public parking lot in walking distance a mention of that fact would be good.

Check-in was no hassle, receptionists all spoke reasonable english (and several languages). All staff were very attentive and professional, everything was clean, facilities excellent and the beach and central location just amazing! Bar, restaurant and pool onsite and excellent food options next door and all along the beach! A great place to learn kite or wind-surfing (maybe next time) with everyhing needed onsite! We had a problem with the tv, and the repairman was there within minutes, though he got it working, the remote only controlled sound.. so without hesitation they replaced the tv with a better one and fully working remote. No surprises at checkout either. We did tip staff, though not required. They were worth it!

Breakfast was good, coffee excellent! A couple BBQ's each week was good, though tough to compete with prices right next door at Front Loops. A very popular and accessible spot that made for a great duo of facilities.

I stayed in a large suite with an ocean view. Bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious. Kitchen area had a small fridge and cook top area. Nice balcony with 2 tables and a chair. Room was clean.

AC in living room did not work as well as it should, but it still functioned. Had to pay extra for an umbrella on the beach

In the middle of Cabarete. On the beach. I was there with my brother for kitesurfing. Stumble right out of your room onto the beach. Pump up the kites and go. We each had our own room. Very clean. Made up everyday. We didn't have the rooms with a view by choice . But I hardly spend time in the room. The food at the restaurant Serenade was great. The people were super friendly. As well as the people from the Ion club. A week was too short 😎😊

Nice hotel. Excellent food. Right in front of the beach. If you kite, you can gear your kite right in front!

Be careful, there are 2 buildings. One in front of the beach and the other one right next to the road. The one on the road does not have beach view, does not have elevator and can suffer from the road noise.

Breakfast buffet was good, nothing extra special Restaurant was very good most of the time. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The beachside location of the hotel, restaurant and bar is excellent. Great place to watch the kiters and other beach activities

The internet was a big problem. I stayed for several weeks during ongoing problems. Then upon leaving and trying to pay my final bill, the hotel’s charge system would not accept my bank card. A fiasco that had to be resolved with me arranging a wire transfer from my office in the US.
