It was like a little slice of luxury! The bed was great, the shower was awesome, and the wifi was very fast and stable. Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was also much more spacious than the photos would suggest!

The lock on our door was a bit finicky but that’s a very minor issue. It was a great spot and we wished we could’ve stayed longer!

My stay at Pepe’s House was a delightful experience. From the very first moment, the hotel staff welcomed me with exceptional warmth, always attentive and ready to assist with any need. The room was comfortable and perfect for resting after exploring the city. A special detail that made my visit even more enjoyable was Empanada, the hotel’s cat, whose sweetness made her the best companion. Without a doubt, a cozy place I look forward to returning to. Highly recommended!

Charming atmosphere. Great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, scheduling transportation and obtaining tickets for us. As well as giving helpful recommendations and information. Breakfast was great. And coffee available at all hours. We will definitely book this hotel again!

Very comfortable and big bed, the room had everything one needs, the stuff was very nice and helpful , and I also loved the very cuddly cat ☺️

The breakfast could improve a bit, especially the müsli/ cornflakes were a bit sad. I would also love a bit more than jam to put on the toast. (But this seems to be a problem that I encountered all over hostels in Ecuador.)

There was a good variety of foods for the breakfasts, fresh fruits, eggs, local Cuenca dish, breads and specialty rolls as well as granola and oats. Milk, yougert juice water and coffee. Staff were excellent and very friendly.

There was nothing that I would say I did not like. Very enjoyable stay

A really nice hotel well located in the center. The place is quiet and is a nice location to rest in Cuenca near the Cathedral, the artists street and floral marketl. The personal is kind, available and really helpful. Bars and restaurants are at walking distance. The breasfast is delicious. Our room was cosy and clean next to a bright resting area. You have everything to enjoy a good stay in Cuenca definitely a family place to stay

No major point. Just there are two lovely friendly cats. I'm allergic it has been a little issue once one came to say hi. Nothing to complain about the place

Nice place - not right in the centre but still it has a good position, We had a room at the front with a seating area and windows out on to the street. Slight trade off with street noise/Music from the shop opposite for the light and balcony but with the windows closed the noise was ok. Very helpful staff including Empanada the cat who was really in charge

Breakfast was ok but nothing exceptional

First off, the staff were all super helpful and booked a couple of day trips for me. They don't have a tourist agency there so the staff was able to find something for me cheaper than I could on my own. And the trips were great! Now, any review would be incomplete without a mention of Empanada. She is the best cat in Ecuador (undisputed) but also quite possibly the entirety of South America. I love her. Also the rooms are very clean and comfortable! But....Empanada. She is everything.

I didn't like that I couldn't catnap Empanada.

Everything was just wonderful! The staff, the rooms, the breakfast, the location - everything. They helped me with every question or inquiry I had, the breakfast was fresh with healthy choices and good coffee ;-) also, the hotel is completely plastic free, which I greatly admire and support. I already recommended the hotel today to some of my colleagues! They will book you the next time, when they are in Cuenca. Thank you again for everything!!!

Perfect Central location. Breakfast included in the price. Water to fill water bottles for free. Staff looked after our bags after we checked our until we collected them later in the day.
