Upon arrival, guests get a welcome drink called Karkadeh. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The entire resort is influenced by the Nubian Tribes of Egypt. It is artistic and picturesque. The room was comfortable, but the shower overflowed, making the bathroom a bit messy. The hotel provides insect repellant, which is a must being so close to the Nile. The food is delicious. The resort organises tours at fair prices. The bazaar is a short walk from the hotel and is safe to walk and explore even until after dark.

The property is newly refurbished right on the west bank of the Nile near Aswan old dam and is very well connected with the Philae temple on Agilkia island. The room was large and clean and it had a nice view on the Nile, with amazing view of the Nile at sunset. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, especially the owner, Sied Wanas. He spent time with us, offered us tea and coffee and we had a lovely time with him at sunset hearing stories about the place and his family. He also arranged for us the boat to Philae temple and a driver to Luxor, with stops at Kom Ombo and Edfu temples. We also had a delicious dinner at the hotel and it was lovely as well as the family atmosphere. I can’t recommend it enough if you visit Aswan and then head to Abu Simbel or Luxor on your own.

The only downside is that there is nothing much in the surroundings, but we loved the peaceful atmosphere of the guest house, away from the caos of the city.

I had a wonderful stay at Fenti hotel! The location is perfect, very close to the Nubian Village, making it easy to explore the local culture. The team was incredibly supportive and made my stay comfortable. One of the highlights was the breathtaking sunrise—absolutely magnificent! However, I do feel the hotel could enhance the experience by introducing some night activities, like a Nubian party once a week, to showcase the vibrant local traditions. Overall, a great place to relax and connect with nature!

It’s a small hotel where you feel at home. Manager Galal is a genius, he got us out of a difficult situation and saved our vacation. Even after leaving he heard from us. I would like to thank the whole hotel team especially Belana at the bar, he was our sunshine he’s smiling all the time, Ahmed our driver who took us everywhere and was very attentive and Sarah the other manager who was super nice. I recommend 100%.

There was work in the hotel, we woke up with the sound of the excavator. They are improving the hotel and it will be magnificent but maybe do the work in very low season. The frame of our bed had full peaks that protruded so I hit myself several times and I hurt myself. Finally the pool was not very clean in addition with the work, there was a lot of dust in it. If they solve the problem of the bed, work and clean the pool it will be perfect as well as the staff

Everything on the menu was delicious. Electricity and internet services were at highest quality. It is located in one of the niche places in Aswan, and the design & architecture of the place was reflecting the whole Nubian culture with all its colors. The hotel itself, the rooms were very authentic and the staff supported on all travel facilities. We were picked up from and dropped off to the airport, and taken to all destinations within Aswan city with the marvelous boat. All staff were super helpful and they were really supportive on planning as well. Thank you once again!

The location of the resort is quite far from the town, it’s 15 km from the town center. In reality, there was a shuttle for only check in and out, whilst during the stay there was no transport from the resort location to the town center and the transportation was very hard. I do recommend to add a shuttle service from / to the town center during the stay to make the movement easier.

Food: we had dinner there and the food was great. There was good selection of food and they even made pasta with cheese for the kids that was not in the menu. We did not have breakfast because we left early both days. We got a packed breakfast to take away both days that had quite a few things and was more than enough. Facilities: the resort is very friendly, colored and rustic-style. It is literally next to the Nile and has a small pool and some nice outdoor spaces. Room: our room was one of the first floor rooms, with 2 beds (we're 2 adults and 2 children). The room was spacious and decorated in rustic style, very much in accordance to the resort. Staff: the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The WC in the room is small and not very clean. The shower is in the middle of the WC and everything gets wet when we take a shower. Importantly, the drain was full of hair (or something) and the water would not drain properly so after taking a shower the WC was unusable for a bit while the water drained. There are plenty of mosquitos, I think due to the river. There was a mosquito repellent on our bedroom and with the AC on I think we did the night pretty well. We did get bitten outside.

Fenti Nubian Resort was a wonderful place to stay, the staff was helpful, kind, and so fast in meeting our requests. Management is super fast in responding to questions and super helpful. The room is clean and cozy, the hotel generally was super quiet. I really recommend it to everyone. And also it's not expensive at all. Special thanks to Galal for the great conversations, to Sara for her kindness and to the whole helpful staff.

The staffis great, we had an amazing time, even though we had a kind of "once in a lifetime special event" the whole staff took special care of it and made our stay beyond amazing. We definitely will not forget Sarah very soon. That Nubian drum we will be playing for a while, it has an amazing sound.

It was great, there was nothing people could do to improve our stay. We are very well taken care of.
