Like: the amazing view on the mountain with the Nil, Nil view all around the hotel, better than the old cataract hotel ! Quiet and relaxing, good facilities (swimming pool, massage etc). Dislike: frequency of the boat to access the hotel, sometimes more than 30 mins (waiting time + sailing time) - Terrible breakfast (instant coffee only, no fresh fruit, stay away from the sausages etc) Room: functional and clean

All rooms have balcony and water view. The boat to mainland is frequent and reliable. Wifi is good. The quiet ambiance is appreciated there. I recommend the hotel.

Don’t eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. Next to the hotel pickup point at the mainland “Pyramisa Isis Island Pickup Point” an excellent restaurant “Makani Restaurant” down stairs. Healthy, fresh and much cheaper than the hotel. They use fresh daily local meat and chicken, not frozen or imported.

The location is fantastic and very prime. The staff is friendly and helpful. The boat from/to the mainland functions very well. A variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The beds in the room are comfortable. The wifi is in and out - good on some days and not so good on others.

The rooms are comfortable but some parts are really due for renovation. The sliding doors to the balcony, for example, are very old and dusty. The room door locks are old and do not work properly. The breakfast caters to the masses but I would expect better coffee facilities for a 5 star hotel than just Nescafé instant coffee. Even if you book halfboard then soft drinks are not included during dinner, which is quite strange. The gym is very old and the equipments needs replacing. It also appears to be never cleaned and is quite filthy with a lot of dust.

Modern spacious room with beautiful views of the Nile. Pleasurable boat ride to and from the hotel.(Free,less than 10 mins,runs 24 hours a day every 20mins. Boarded next to Makani restaurant . Easy to get on and off for staying at the island and for doing tours) Excellent value.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Comfortable room with everything you need.

Loud and unruly children of other guests running up and down the corridor and banging doors of their room. Totally understand it is not the hotels fault but it was very annoying when you are just wanting to relax. We did mention it to the reception staff. The hotel should be able to share with guests that children need to be supervised when in public places especially near the rooms. Our rooms were close to the lobby and reception area.

What I liked: • Really good value for money overall • Beautiful property in a unique island location • Charming ferry ride to reach the hotel, which adds to the experience • Lovely surroundings and atmosphere • Spa facilities looked impressive with lots of choice • Staff are genuinely nice, friendly and welcoming

What I didn’t like: • Property feels a bit rough around the edges and could be better maintained • Breakfast was repetitive — reasonable options but not exceptional • Spa gowns looked worn, which put us off booking treatments • Not all restaurants were open, leading to long waits (30–40 minutes at times) • Service, while kind, could be more polished with additional training • Repeatedly being asked to review the property felt slightly annoying

Very helpful staff and welcoming. Very quick check-in. It was a nice surprise to be upgraded into a room with a beautiful view, thank you so much. The hotel itself is situated on a private island, beautiful sceneries everywhere. The private boat was always available to take us to mainland. The rooms are recently renovated, very comfy and clean but would be nice to add table lamps. The bathroom is very nice. With great shower pressure and super hot water, however there were occasional clogging of the shower.

The doors of the rooms need to change to sound proof one, they said this will be adjusted with the new wave of renovations. Breakfast could improve.

A lovely experience with friendly, professional and attentive staff, all of whom could not have done anything more for us. The hotel is on an island in the Nile with views of the Old Cataract Hotel, Elephantine Island and the desert. Our own view was spectacular taking in the beautifully maintained gardens, the island across the Nile with its fields, buffalo, palm trees, desert and, on the far bank, the mausoleum to the Aga Khan. The hotel has two swimming pools (we used both) and they were both good with excellent service for drinks and towels, etc. There are shops on site. I am happy to say there is no heavy selling. The spa offers a range of massages. they are not what I would call "cheap"exactly but, again, they were excellent. The breakfast was varied and delicious and with the ever attentive service. We ate dinner in the attractively presented a la carte restaurant and the food was good (as, of course, was the service) and all at a very reasonable price. There is a courtesy, 24 hour private hotel ferry that crosses the Nile every 10 minutes which is excellent for seeing the old cataract up close and the ruins on Elephantine Island. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Aswan. The location, service and quality of the hotel are all truly excellent.

There really was nothing we disliked about our stay. In fact, we cannot wait to come back.

Staff are polite, supportive, and welcoming. Ms Cristine PR makes sure that you are pampered. She is leading the team perfectly. Some highlights: Resort looks much better alive than in photos. Pristine, clean, excellently maintained, quiet, and yet in the centre of Aswan. Hotel boat is always available to take you to the mainland. Two swimming pools, properly shaded during the hot days. Breakfast is continental with a variety of foods. Waiters are polite and professional. It's an island, whatever room you get, it will be overlooking the Nile. Western terrace, massive, shaded, overlooking Nile and Nubian villages. The view is stunning.

I would suggest better options for dinner buffet. Fruits were not available. WiFi is weak, though I have Egyptian sim so I did not depend on their WiFi.

It Is spacious and quiet and surrounded by beautiful views. It was just what we needed- we stayed here for two nights to create a "rest day" in the middle of chaotic travel in Egypt. It's nice not to get constantly begged/ approached/harassed for a day. To that point, it was nice to be on an island. Ms Christeen really does do a great job with managing the place. We like the larger pool, the buffet dinner and breakfast. Very good fresh salads and a good mix of Egyptian and western options. Room AC was adjustable, good size balconies. We were lucky to get a view upgrade. Service is good and prompt in all areas. Pier was easy to find and use.

Well they allow smoking right in the main lobby (but I get it that this is a cultural thing) and the bar really can't make any cocktails well. Tried two and they both tasted like heavily watered down juice. (But what do you expect? Bars are not really an Egyptian thing). These issues were quite minor for us.
