The building is run down (like most of Cairo) but the hotel room is very clean and easy to access, nothing too fancy though. The staff is friendly (receptionists all speak English) and the owner Mr Hamaza is just a phone call away if you need anything. They arranged a FREE shuttle to and from the airport. Also, try to get a room facing East! The East-facing view (you can see from the reception in the pictures) overlooks the Nile and is absolutely gorgeous.

The owner Mr Hamaza offered to help me book a tour (Pyramids, Alexandria, etc) at a lower price. This turned out really poorly -- the tour guide did a bad job and I had to find someone else midway during the trip. However, in his defense, the owner admitted that it was bad and was honest enough to refund me part of the money. Breakfast also isn't great, but you can get amazing hawawshi just across the street.

The room is equipped with a fridge and TV (one channel). The hotel is located on the 15th floor, and the elevator is working (it is an interesting elevator indeed). No cockroaches or other insects.

We had a short stay, but it was impressive because it was organized. They offered to arrange a tour for us, and then it was perfect. We visited the Pyramids and Sphinx. I think its price was reasonable for us, the bed was comfortable, and the room size was suitable. I highly recommend this place if you want to take an awesome trip.

The road congestion makes it take a while for a taxi to reach the hotel.

I spent one night at the hotel, and it was great. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the natural view from the hotel was breathtaking, The location is close to everything, making it perfect for my short visit. I will definitely consider coming back for a longer stay.

I had a short stay at the ISIS hotel. It was a nice stay in a comfortable place. The room was wide enough for a single person with a private bathroom, and the staff was friendly and helpful with a fast response. The area and street were very quiet and very near most of the famous places and landmarks in downtown.

Large groups may encounter issues with the elevator because it is not big enough.

If you're looking for something super basic for your stay, choose the Isis. I stay here every time I come to Cairo because it is a lovely, friendly little place with excellent staff who go above and beyond every day. They will always help you with absolutely anything you need at any time. Breakfast is excellent and some of the staff speak very good English (though not all, so be prepared for that). The rooms are surprisingly quiet for the location and beds are very comfortable. I stay there alone as a woman and have always felt perfectly safe.

You will be very comfortable here as long as you understand that it's a very basic little hostel, nothing fancy. Please note there are no hair dryers so byo.

The hotel was clean, providing a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Located in a central area, it was easy to explore nearby landmarks like the Egyptian Museum and Cairo Tower. Additionally, the value for money was excellent. Highly recommended!

Great location, friendly staff and clean hotel. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is a very convenient location close to the city. There are lots of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood, and the view is very nice Excellent and tidy. Great value for money. Highly recommend.
