Great location which is close to everything and located in a a quite unique area (Zamalek). Reception staff were super helpful and friendly. Thank you so much Mr(sorry forgot his name) who did our early check in. Rooms were super clean and spacious. Will definitely come back with my big family and recommend it to everyone.

The New President Hotel is a value priced hotel providing very good, clean and modern rooms It is located in Zamalek which is a well-to-do Cairo suburb located on the Nile and a short distance from the main museums, mosques and the main bazaar. The staff are friendly and excellent and the travel service located in the hotel run by Mr Dahby will organise days tours of the city, to the Pyramids and trips all over Egypt. The included buffet breakfast was very good and there was a popular swish pizza restaurant/bar on the ground floor and a restaurant next door on the 11th floor which served good local & western cooking.

The modern bathroom had some quirky design faults which may have been just in our room but whoever thought putting the towel rack inside the shower stall has little idea of how a shower actually works by spraying wet water around. Very amusing if you don't mind wet towels I suppose.

Excellent location (safe and within walking distance of many restaurants and leisurely places in Zamalek) and very quiet and peaceful Friendly staff Extremely clean Comfortable room with daily cleaning services Upon check out they allowed us to store our luggage until we left for the airport in the evening so we could complete our touring on our last day

The price was too expensive for the room-it is not worth as much as is listed per night (size of the room) and breakfast is not included The views from the rooms are not nice-Mostly buildings There are 2 President hotels: The President and the New President. They are side by side and owned by the same people but different hotels. On booking.com there seems to be photos for rooms of both hotels so this is confusing. The new President is older than the President hotel (paradoxically).

A nice hotel in a good location convenient for walking to local restaurants. The staff were friendly, always available , very helpful and facilitated our 2am check in with a smile.. Our room was spacious and clean with a separate sitting area, air conditioning and mini fridge. The shower was very spacious and always had hot water available.. I think the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in .The laundry service we used was efficient, cheap and items were returned the same day. Breakfast was in the sister hotel which was literally next door and although I'm not usually a fan of breakfast I found plenty of variety , good quality food in pleasant surroundings. Taxis were always available outside reception and are really cheap. If we ever returned to this area we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our room overlooked the reception and a school which at times was a little noisy, but to be expected when staying in a city and didn't really bother us . The price list for the spa was outdated and when booking an appointment the prices were higher , although still good value but something to be aware of .

The location and the design of the room

The location is good, it's easy to transport to any place of the Zemalek Island. And because it's in the inland, so you can avoid the noise. The the room is clean with all the facility. The breakfast is good with variety of choice, weastern to Egyptian. And the staff there were very helpful and caring, especially Besma,

I don't like one staffs' attitude. My partner was not staying with me in the hotel, since he's leaving on the first day when I checked in, I just want him to stay in the room and rest for a while, but one manager at the front desk was not friendly and asked many information about my partner's stay, mentioned he is not checked in and can't stay in the room, and when I told them he's not staying over night, only resting until the flight time. He kept asking about when my partner is leaving... it's not a good and friendly attitude, even not to your customer.

One issue we encountered was with the shower drain, which was ineffective and caused water to flood into the toilet area. Housekeeping responded immediately when I called, clearing the drain and removing the water promptly. Although the problem persisted, the staff consistently addressed it quickly, minimizing any inconvenience. This was not a big issue with me just the only thing I could fault

The New President Hotel in Cairo is tucked away in a glorious tree lined street on the island of Zamalek. A wonderful boutique hotel with limited rooms means that the service is A1 A small intimate bar with a wood fire pizza oven serves up delicious pizza and the breakfast is varied fresh and substantial . The staff were all more than helpful and they even stored a bag for us while we travelled away for a week. Mr Ahmed at reception was a delight and made us feel like we were in our own home

How clean and tidy it is and the location is close to everything

It has two schools in front of it and i can hear everything the bells and the break time and the pick up was horrible they would wake me up from 2 to 3 pm everyday 🤦🏻‍♀️💔🥹 Also it is not my first year going to cairo and i used to pay in Egyptian pounds but this time the hotel insisted on paying in dollars which i didn’t have they wouldn’t even except Bahraini dinars which is all i had ,, i paid in dollars in the end but the whole situation stressed me 😑

We couldn’t recommend more this hotel we had the best time, the staff is incredibly nice. The room was super clean and confortable, thank you Nada. We slept so well and it was super quiet on the street. The location of the hotel is amazing, super convenient and secure. The restaurant and bar close to the hotel are wonderful. As a foreigner we loved walking around in Zamalek trying delicious coffee shops and enjoying this little peace of heaven. We felt home in no time and couldn’t be more grateful. We will be back for sure.
