Overall this was a very good option for us. the apartment was spacious, well furnished, and comfortable. There was a bit of a lack of equipment in the kitchen, but overall we had everything we needed to cook. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the lounge was nice with great TV, wifi was generally very strong and stable.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the location is extremely noisy due to traffic from the busy junction the flat overlooks. I've stayed in Giza several times and was prepared for general background noise from people, traffic, dogs, etc, but this was something else. There is constant traffic noise, mainly horns and motorbikes right through the entire night, and the windows can't block it out. If you are a light sleeper you will get no sleep at all. I ended up wearing noise cancelling headphones to try to block it out, but still had very little sleep almost every night. There is nothing the property can do about this, it is just the location - be prepared to accept this.

Apartment was so spacious and clean, had everything we needed. Beautiful views of the pyramids from the rooftop. A big thank you to mohamed Ibrahim who helped me a lot especially with locating the nearest pharmacy. I would 100% recommend especially for location to the pyramids (8/10 min drive or 25 minute walk.

I didn't appreciate the female receptionist trying to charge us an offensive amount for the pyramids. We ended up getting an uber ourselves and paying at the ticket office to enter. Much easier and less stressful.

The location was perfect. Close to the pyramids, and the view from the rooftop was amazing. The apartment that we stayed in was very spacious and had everything that we needed. It is located near a very busy street and highway, but you don't hear a thing once you close the windows. All of the staff was amazing and friendly, and the front desk was always available. The apartment was a lot bigger than we expected, which was perfect for my group. I felt safe leaving and coming back and even walking around the area of the hotel. My friends and I loved it.

My only issue was that the wifi was really weak.

Everything was wonderful. staff welcome and handling your requests all the time and at any time. Facility/Hotel "room" options with reasonable charges, garage space, external restaurant but really the best wonderful one was the "Room/Appartement" options. I have expended my staying for additional two nights due to an urgent staying but never thought researching for different hotel, I loved Pyramids Gem Plaza Hotel & Apartments

Breakfast option to add to room charges rather than get separate! Having internal laundry Payment thru Visa card without extra charges "3%" Book online thru Booking website should be with payment in currency facility as well especially for citizen/native people. Room service with food option

Second time we stayed at this hotel on our visit to Cairo. It perfectly met our expectations, the strong point of the stay was undoubtedly the cordiality, education and companionship of all the staff. The value for money with the possibility of cooking in the apartment is unbeatable. Thank you very much!

Staff are very friendly and helpful, the apartment was very comfortable and clean, very close to the Pyramids and the new Museum, I really enjoyed my stay there.

might need some tough out for the doors and the bathroom, but I understand if there are children they can destroy every thing.

Very spacious, more than enough room for a family and was air conditioned. Very close to the pyramids and the GEM. Nice breakfast on the roof terrace with a view of the pyramids.

Not close to any eateries making getting an evening meal awkward. Had to order food in using the Egyptian version of Just Eat - Talabat. Staff did help with this though. It also sits on a busy junction so gets noisy. The lift is both terrifying and amusing at the same time. Be careful if you have kids as the lack of door could prove dangerous.

We recently got back from our trip to Cairo and wanted to take the time to write about our stay here. Just to start, this property had the absolute most AMAZING hospitality my family could’ve possibly hoped for while visiting a foreign country. The property was beautiful, well kept and had the most amazing rooftop view of the Pyramids of Giza ! The staff here became part of our extended family and we look forward to visiting with them again when we come back to Cairo ! They took such great care of all of our needs and made sure we had nothing short of the best time, and experiences while visiting their country. Anything we needed, they were there to make it happen and it didn’t matter what time it was. If it was within their capabilities we could expect it to be done. We will be sending any and all of our friends to stay with our friends here at the Pyramid Gem Hotel. It absolutely felt like home while we were away from the states.

Everything on the property was to our satisfaction. From breakfast, to amenities, it was great.

We stayed there 7 nights , location is very near pyramids. Apartment is large over 165 m2 , clean and well equipped. We loved the staff who are very helpful and give you any information you request. Cairo is big city with a lot of traffic so from the morning you can hear cars honking, wifi is not stable sometimes but overall we had lovely stay and got good deal for our money. once again thank you for all staff of Gem Plaza

Staff was friendly, is very clean, good location. Was OK.

Breakfast was very poor, the person who prepared breakfast, cannot speak English, they served us very little tasteless food, there were no eggs, no water, no tears. verem goshe, a small piece of cheese and the salami was probably moldy.
