Since I stayed here before the fact that I booked again with these guys speaks for itself: I was happy with service and what I got for my buck. A pleasant surprise was to find that they managed to put in place a digital satellite television which means that image was clear , and yes, there are some english speaking broadcasts on Nile Sat too. Staff was kind and helpful. And yes , now they can arrange excursions or daily diving trips at a reasonable price.

Well , since it is a budget boutique hotel you don't have to demand too much. One thing I would suggest would be enhancing the WiFi coverage beyond the hotel's lobby to all areas and to all floors. Also , more english , german or french speaking TV channels would be welcome.

My stay in Luxor hotel was very nice, I enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very friendly and polite, they always were ready to help. My room was clean, had an A/C, TV (some of tv channels was in English,from 660 to 700 mostly), fridge. shower. A/C sometimes didn't work good enough, but it wasn't a problem for me, I'm pretty sure hotel staff would have fixed it if I had asked for. There are a few beaches near, supermarket, cafes. The thing I like the most about the hotel is a terrace on the fifth floor. You can have a tea or even a hookah there while enjoying nice sea and city view. And again, many thanks to the personal, they were always ready to help. They offered different tours but weren't annoying. Thanks for a present you gave me too!

Only AC maybe, but as is said it wasn't a problem for me.

After a 4 day stay I had scheduled a liveaboard trip and booked this same accommodation on my pre-flight night back to home because they were fulfilling their promises. Moreover , while away on the sea for a week they agreed to keep in their safety room one of my bags with my spare stuff and clothes for free.

I had a great stay at Luxor Hotel. I stayed for 5 nights while spending time diving and was very satisfied with everything. The hotel is located in El Dahar which is in the old town, so there is little of touristic interest nearby, although there is a family beach along the waterfront a 10 minute walk away which charges 50 LE entry, around £2 GBP (most beaches in the area charge admission). There is also a cool English bar (Egyptian version of English rather, so actually very Egyptian…) called Dabbie’s Cafe/Old School close by, as well as “Hurghada City Center” about quarter of an hour’s walk - a large shopping mall with coffee bars, shops and a large cinema. Funny Divers next door to the hotel also offers well priced diving excursions which was very convenient. For h the price, the experience was great at the Luxor. The reception is stylish and comfortable, the staff are extremely kind and attentive (they often offered me mint tea), and my room was basic but had everything - a comfortable double bed, furniture and a private bathroom. The AC was good although did become a bit strong at times and didn’t seem adjustable, so I made good use of the bed blanket! There is also a nice roof terrace with sun loungers to use (albeit old rusty ones with paint which sticks to you…). I was able to order an airport shuttle through the hotel also for 200 LE.

If splitting hairs, it was occasionally annoying only having WiFi in reception, but it did mean I got to see the staff and their adorable hotel kitten! The bathroom could’ve been cleaner also, and once or twice the attention from the staff was a little overwhelming.

High recommended "Service related to the value is good" message to Owner : to improve your Rate, Please keep and invest in the cleaning this will keep the hotel rating in the top 10 cleaning won't increase hotel expenses and will satisfy the Guest, for the internet yes .. you mentioned there is not WIFI but small Bundle free of charge will be increase hotel rating wish next time i can rate you with 10

Lovely reception area,nice staff. We stayed longer than the one day. Enjoyed the area, the setting as in lounge area,cafe seating,a lift to floors,tiled floors. Fridge in room, Room air cond. A pleasant stay here ☺️

Hard pillow, but no other complaints 😜 Could do with coffee,tea complementary as there is an outdoor area to boil water but no clean cups or tea coffee sugar there just empty jars.

the bathroom can be a bit more upgraded and maintained, I stayed for 5 days and not even once its was cleaned.

Very clean and sophisticated hotel, good air conditioner and classy overall. What I loved more is the staff, they were very nice and welcoming. I forgot my watch in the room and went back there two days later to find it wrapped and tagged by my name waiting for me.

Central location, close to many shops, the beach and the staff is really good. Had great conversations with them. The price for the room is quite cheap.

The rooms are not smoke-free, so you can smell when a neighbour room smokes.
