British-Style Hospitality This hotel operates on the principles of British hospitality, and it shows in the well-trained staff and high service standards—comparable to those of a UK 5-star hotel. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with a welcome drink, a non-alcoholic sweet cocktail. Booking & Check-In * The website allowed us to book a three-single-bed room, but it was listed for two people only. * We booked it for two guests and paid an additional 400 EGP in cash for the third person, as the included breakfast was only for two. * The staff let us choose between two available rooms, which was a nice touch. Location – Perfect for Sightseeing The hotel’s location is fantastic, especially if you're planning to explore Luxor’s iconic sites: * A short walk to the Nile, where you can take a ferry to visit the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and the Temple of Hatshepsut. * Close to the Avenue of the Sphinxes, which connects Karnak Temple to Luxor Temple. Cleanliness Issues Unfortunately, the cleanliness did not meet expectations: * One of our friends found clipped nails on his bed and requested a sheet change. * Due to a miscommunication, instead of just changing the sheets, the staff replaced the entire bed—which, while unnecessary, was appreciated. Breakfast & Dining The included breakfast was great, featuring: * Tomatoes, peppers, Egyptian pita bread, two types of cream cheese, jam, and a beverage of choice. Excellent Customer Service – Special Thanks to Ayman On our check-out day, we were traveling to Aswan, but we wanted to stop at Edfu and Kom Ombo temples along the way. * The hotel manager, Ayman, arranged a private car for us to Aswan with stops at both temples. * The entire full-day trip cost 90 USD—a fair price considering the long drive and stops. * Ayman ensured everything was in order and was extremely helpful throughout.

This humble hotel has the best customer service I encountered in my entire trip to Egypt. My deepest gratitude to Mahmoud, for being so professional and attentive. He is quite an expert, and he gave me the most valuable advice for my visits to Luxor and Aswan. I later met Mohamed, and then I understood that this quality of service is the standard of this place. Highly recommended for anyone who, like me, considers customer service to be of utmost importance. The location of the hotel is also good, as it is right next to the bank of the Nile River and just a few meters from the Luxor Museum and within walking distance of the Luxor Temple.

The room, although it had a view of the Nile, did not have the cleanest bathroom. And breakfast, although served again with admirable service, was a little unusual, lacking fruit, fruit juices, yogurt or cereals.

The staff were so helpful , they got the best deal for me for the tours and I saved a lot of money with them . Room big and airy , beds r comfortable, I stayed 5 nites and had very good sleep. Very clean , although the bathroom needs maintenance. Best location, and value for money. I would definitely stay there again. Very good breakfast.

No wifi in the room. Only in the lobby good wifi. I was told they r going to fix the wifi soon. And hot water in the shower takes time to get warm.

Given the price, the value was excellent (right down to a complementary fruit basket in my room on Day 1)! Staff tried helping in many ways, and were professional and very courteous. The old men staff in the kitchen were very sweet and accomodating. The room was spacious, the location provided easy access to the Corniche and other highlights in Luxor, with plenty of taxis on the road - all important for a first time tourist. Having a swimming pool, at that price, was also exceptional. I felt very safe and comfortable while inside the hotel.

1. Reception staff struggled with English which is always frustrating as a tourist. My Translator mobile application was a big help in this regards! 2. Wile at night and sleeping time it was very quiet and peaceful, during the day it was noisy as there was a school near by. 3. While on day 1, my room was made, on my second day the room was not refreshed/ cleaned by the staff while I was away.

The staff working are very friendly, helpful and nice. The breakfast is very oriental which is exactly what you need in Luxor, not to forget, it is very delicious and enough to make you feel full until 5PM. The location is wonderful, literally a minute walk to get to the Corniche and some rooms have a view of the Nile. You can literally get to any place on the East Bank within a 30 minute walk, maximum, this includes going to the ferry to cross to the other side. Considering the price you pay in one of the most tourist attracting cities in the world, this hotel is wonderful and I totally recommended.

The only thing I probably didn't like about the hotel is the lack of WiFi and the TV services. Once you are in your room you won't be able to do anything other than shower and sleep. It is not that big of a deal since you spend most of your day outside.

Myself and my wife were originally booked in for 6 nights but decided to stay for 4 nights after a chat with the manager Ismil who put us in contact with Mr Bob tour company after which we did a nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan among other trips as in hot air balloon , trip to the east and west bank tours and private car back from Aswan to luxor after our Nile cruise.. The hotel is located in a great location between karnack temple and Luxor temple just on a side street from the river nile. It is a very quiet hotel that is under renovation but no work begins until after breakfast time. Air conditioned rooms with clean comfortable beds and fridge . Towels , toilet roll , soap is available in the room. Pharmacy just around the corner if needed. Beautiful breakfast served to us every morning and takeaway breakfast box 📦 was made available to us on leaving the hotel for the airport. Manager Ismil and his friendly staff couldn't have done anymore for us . We enjoyed the swimming pool every evening to cool down after a long hot day in the sun visiting temples and site seeing. It's not the Ritz hotel but it's well worth the money and will be a very beautiful hotel when the renovations are completed 😀
