Good hotel for families

During our 10 day stay in Egypt, we stayed in 4 different hotels. I must say that Jewel matrouh was the best one by far. Firstly, the receptionists were so accommodating and lovely, especially Nada. The laundry lady was so kind and always smiling- somehow whilst she was washing our clothes, there had been a tiny hole in one of our clothes which she was very apologetic for and was honest and admitted her mistake. We didn't mind at all as she was so sweet and humble. The staff at breakfast were so lovely too, very helpful and caring. They knew we were a large group and liked to eat together and they would ensure they made a space for us every morning. The hotel itself had everything you need- it was clean, comfortable beds, shampoo/shower gel/waters/kettle/tea/coffee etc in each room Cleaning ladies would come everyday and do an awesome job. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jewel Matrouh- as foreigners they welcomed us kindly and tried their best to communicate with us Many reviews complain about the noise and although I agree that this is true, I have to say that the noise didn't disturb us at all. We had mixed ages in our group, old people, youngsters and little children and everyone got their beauty sleep! I also really liked their arrangements for towels-using a towel card and thought the wristband was a great idea especially if anyone was to get lost as it gets very busy at night, it would be easy to find your way back home by showing anyone the wristband! A solid 10/10 and I would love to return

The property and stuff are are good and restaurant food and service excellent and friendly and respectful

location extremely loud music from surrounding until 3am, was a little inconvenient as beach was not in hotel we had to go through another hotel and beach was not good for swimming because too much seaweed.

During my stay in the hotel at Marsa Matrouh in August 2022 our family felt very comfortable and welcomed from the whole staff starting from the CEO and the vice to the youngest of the staff . Also I’d Lilke to thank the whole team whom did their best to satisfy us at our stay and having an outstanding effort for welcoming us specially the receptionist team, the house keeping team and the food and beverage team. Not limited to Mr M. Kamal, Mr A. Heikal, Mr M.el saieed, Mr M. Ahmed, Miss Nermin, Miss Marwa and Mr A. Halawa we couldn’t ever thank them and the whole staff for the extraordinary effort and hospitality.

The place was very luxurious, the staff were very friendly and descent, and the food was awesome regarding the quantity and the taste. Money well spent.

Very noisy

The sea was great. The food is very good. The staff is really nice.

The smell of the bathroom and the poor supply of the water. The pool is not clean and contains dead insects.

The pool is small. The room view is v.bad.The toilets are not good need to fix them.

The breakfast was good in general . I would suggest to add continental breakfast as butter was not available.

I am satisfied with my staying in the hotel . well done.
