+ beautiful resort + plenty of activities and options available + friendly and helpful staff (reception, guest relations, waiters, cleaning staff) + food is good and to certain extent various

- too large a place (this is subjective of course), one feels almost overwhelmed - from early in the morning for the whole day, sales people roam around the pool area and beach in search of customers, pitching various services (hammam, excursions, boat trips, haircuts)...a bit too aggressive. Sometimes it becomes annoying... - The resort is in fact three resorts, where 3 structures (Palace, Oasis and Sands) share the same common facilities, despite having different price points...non optimal for those paying a premium price (e.g. the Palace guests)

This Hotel is one of 3 within the same complex, you can use the facilities of all of them. On our short 4day stay, you could definitely notice that the Palace area was a step up from the other 2(Oasis/Sands)Excellent sized room,comfy bed,lovely bathroom area-large bath/separate WC/separate Shower,air-con not the best but acceptable. The property itself was immaculate,great pools/beach.We preferred the Lagoon pool area. Location next to the Marina does mean the reef is less colourful than others but we did see a turtle& numerous colourful fish. However the Marina provides shopping facilities and nightlife outside of the Hotel grounds. Plus many sea excursions are available from here. Wi-fi was excellent. There is a Pharmacy within the complex and another in the Marina shopping area. Food was good(ish) but often some food was not very hot. The Staff were not that friendly but we did speak with Reda Elsamady (Manager) about a few aspects of the Hotel we felt were lacking and noticed an immediate improvement. The Palace Port Ghalib Albatros has only reopened for a short period time,since the Pandemic restrictions were lifted, I can only see this property getting better and will be a great place to stay if the improvements continue under the management of Reda Elsamady and we would definitely visit again.

Staff is excellent, very professional, friendly and trying to help making the stay great experience. The resort is evolving since our visit last year by adding new facilities, e.g. aqua park. The room was amazing with wonderful view.

I was initially skeptical about this resort because of its proximity to the port but so wrong I was. Not only resort the was great but also food was very good. They also upgraded us at our arrival which was very nice gesture. Almost all the staff at the resort were very nice, genuine and helpful. Some examples: The coffee guy at Alfredo restaurant who greeted me with a smile and knew that I wanted a cappuccino after the first day; Mahmoud at the pier, room cleaning guy Mustapha; great people! Grill at every lunch and dinner and lots of other food choices. Resort is close to the airport, which is also convenient. Also importantly, they were very quick to respond to our requests about the room. Highly recommended.

Wifi performance at the beach can be improved.

Almost everything very pleasant. Very friendly and helpful hotel management. New tennis court is almost perfect.

Unfortunately, an abundance of visually, but only visually attractive food, with too much very average(-) taste meals, especially also the breakfast pastry (no butter) and deserts (oriental and deep frozen), inviting people to leave their dishes half empty. A absolute sin and a real waste. If the architecture of the initial building is really inspiring and with undeniable grandeur, the latter creations/investments like Alfredo and the impressive water recreation area near the tennis court are a visual and aesthetic failure for sure, and providing the impression to the vacanceer to partially spend his holiday in a too badly camouflaged factory. Also missing the former minigolf area.

Since the time U land there, U will be welcomed and supported by a hero like Amgad & Amin from the concierge. Be ready for a smooth checkin process handled perfectly by the master Samy and his team Omar, Mohamed or Mahmoud. They are all super supportive and positively getting you to sense the customer obsession mentality of the place! After enjoying a super clean and well setup room, fulfilled by all what U need and well prepared by the Housekeeping Heros like Zain or Amr, head directly to the beach and enjoy the care of Saeed and his beach support mates! Head to the aqua and have an outstanding joy with robust management of qualified and alerted life guards. Don't forget to use the aqua elevators if you are tired of carrying your floater or mat for 2 floors - it is a luxury not to miss :-) While you enjoy, get recharged with lovely delicious food all the day at the olives or Alfredo, prepared perfectly by chef Abdo, Karem and their colleagues, enjoy the hospitality and being serviced by cheerful staff like Khaled, Omar, Islam, Ayman or Mohamed that are only focused on proactively helping you, under a robust supervision of Sameh & Mohamed. On top, have fun with activities, enjoy the sun, the sea & pool. What else would you look for? Nothing beats a personalized service! We go this property every year, and planning to be our Marsa Alam's resort for good.

Amazing hotel. Clean and big rooms, delicious food in all restaurants. Evey thing is perfect. Beach clean and clear water. I can just recommend this place ! For sure, i will come here back!

Room was ver spacious. Also the bed was very comfortable. De cocktailbar was very lovely. Hotel looks very luxurious and the gardens are well maintained. Staff is very friendley and helpfull. Location is excellent. Would go again.

Zwimmingpool was to warm and not deep enough. Lagoon (saltwater) pool is als very shallow and needs an update and some maintenance. Food could have some more variation. The room was not ready several people had to do something or bring somthing (these things had to be already in the room). The extra bed had to be removed and the floor was dirty. After traveling you like to get some rest and get out of your warm clothes. Beds around the pool scarce ar not avialble due to people ho reserve them.

We had an amazing stay at Pickalbatros Hotel in Marsa Alam! The hotel offers a lot of facilities, including several restaurants with a variety of delicious food, especially the grilled options. The coral reef and swimming pools were fantastic, and there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained. The room service was excellent, and the Aqua area was truly wonderful. We enjoyed a fantastic holiday here. The hotel is also conveniently located near the airport and Port Ghalib Marina. Additionally, the hotel provides ramps everywhere, which was very suitable for our baby stroller. There is also a professional clinic with doctors who provide excellent service. During our stay, our baby had a fever, and they provided great care for him. The staff was outstanding, making our stay even more enjoyable.

There were a few minor issues related to the reception staff communication, but they were insignificant compared to the excellent service provided by all staff. The Reception Manager even contacted us to get feedback on these minor notices and promised to consider them in their work. Highly recommend!
