Staff at reception when I arrived and during my stay were really helpful and made things easy. The general atmosphere at the hotel was good, and although quite a busy hotel/busy time when I was there it was never a problem. Service was quick and efficient in the bar and there was plenty of parking space for my motorbike. I could have parked in the car park at the back/side of the hotel but I chose to leave at the front and there were no issues at all. I had an issue with noise external noise whilst I was there (it was very loud and coming fro the area about a half mile away where the fairground was as part of the annual festival (which I had been unaware of). It woke me and was so loud that at about 02:00am I had to go to reception and ask for another room and the member of staff on night duty was really helpful and I moved room - had I known in advance about the noise I would have asked for a room at the front of the hotel. Location is pretty good as well, very easy to find and probably just a 10/15 miniute walk to shops and 20 minutes to the old town area.

Nothing really - the only thing I would say is that the breakfast offering was a little bit average but all in all that did not detract from my stay.

The evening meal was below par staff were not helpful or accommodating. Ordered 3 steaks and they came one every ten minutes so we could not eat together and they were not cooked to our requested specification. (In previous years stays you had a set menu which was very good) Breakfast no one asked about allergies my daughter could not eat the fruit platter because she has an allergy to nuts (fruoto seco) which were touching half of the platter. I asked for a hard boiled egg and got refused (in previous visits I had no problem)

The breakfast was very good, apart from the rather odd orange juice! Great variety of food. The pool area was very nice and we were able to park on the street in front of the hotel. It was a pleasant stroll to the centre of Ubeda. The room was very clean, but the stupid shower gel and shampoo sachets made no sense!

We enjoyed our stay and really didn't dislike anything. Just silly niggles stopped us from awarding a higher mark.

The bed was extra large and comfortable. The bar was open after we returned from eating out and prices were reasonable. The hotel was slightly faded although it was clearly a 'grand' hotel at its best. Parking was free outside and 10 euros a day if you used the indoor garage. The town is interesting and we enjoyed our visit. Breakfast was good if you like Spanish style. We do!

Nothing really. I sensed the staff were under pressure at times as the hotel was very busy during our stay.

Nice big rooms, we had view to the garden so no noise from the street. We had half board so breakfast was ok, no scrambled eggs or any warm dishes, no buffet style. They bring you everything to your table... Dinner was menu del día. Tasty food, but nothing fancy just normal meal. The bar and lobby area was nice to spend some time and have a drink before going to dinner. The hotel has a garage 10€/day.

What I didn't like was that there were these small bags of shampoo and shower gel which were impossible to open, so please appreciate your clients that much that you change that something more practical. The hotel is little bit far from the main sights so prepare to walk or drive little bit closer to the town parking which was free. The second evening our waiter at the dinner was just a bit too nervous and her behaviour was a bit bothering to us, but in the end she was ok.

Easy free parking (as long as spaces are available). Reception welcoming and helpful. Public areas are nicely furnished and clean. Lounge bar pleasent with comfortable seating. Bedroom quite large, bed comfortable. Bathroom and shower good. Breakfast served at table with ample choice of fruit, meat and bread. Juice, tea and coffee. Nice pool and terrace area where evening meal is served during our stay. Location good for us, approx 15 minutes walk to historic areas.

Steps at entrance, disabled stairlift available. (No ramps apparent). No bar facility at the pool terrace, only bar area is in main lounge. Evening menu is very repetative (only changed at w/e). Terrace furniture old and very uncomfortable.

Breakfast was part self service, but a beautifully prepared plate of fruit was brought to our table, along with a selection of meats and cheese, and croissants. There was no cereal for my husband, but perhaps he should have requested some. It was an ample breakfast. You can pay to park in the underground hotel parking, but we were lucky enough to get a place in the small outdoor parking area, for free. The hotel parking is not signposted, but we have stayed previously so knew where to go. The half-board option was exceptional value for money, especially as our evening meal was very good.

Better signage for the hotel parking would help most people.

Had the half board option and meal was limited to a few choices but served the purpose. Had paid parking and on the street parking available.

In the wintertime, the common areas were very cool. Had a small sawdust powered fireplace that did not keep the area warm. I paid for the parking option, but the garage door never opened when i needed it. Ended up luckily finding one of the few spaces to park.

This is our third time staying in this hotel. Excellent value for money when choosing half board. Large comfortable rooms. Short walk into town. Parking can be outside though restricted availability or in the hotel's underground car park.

The bedroom carpet is beginning to look a bit less fresh. I prefer a wooden floor.
