The large bedroom was comfortable with a walk in shower. We had a terrace overlooking the vineyard. The staff were helpful & friendly. We opted for the breakfast & dinner deal. Breakast was excellent which was served in the hotel itself. Dinner was served in the hotel restaurant just a short walk across from hotel. Our 3 course set menu for dinner was ok served with a glass of their wine, bread & water.

The shop & cafeteria areas were extemely busy with motorway travellers. There is no bar so you have to queue in in the cafeteria queue to purchase a drink & the queues can be quite lengthy. It was still very busy in this area when we went for dinner at 7.30 pm. Personally, I don't think we would stay there again.

This time the service in the restaurant was very good . They have a new waiter called Pablo who was very efficient , service with a smile. The rooms in the hotel are good size & beds are comfy.

Would be better to have a bar in the hotel so we could sit outside with a nice cold glass of beer or wine. There is a drinks machine in the hotel entrance but limited choice . Not keen on drinking in the service station . European pillows would be preferable on the bed not a bolster pillow !

Have been staying at this Hotel twice a year for the best part of twenty years, summer and winter..... lovely and warm in the winter and cool in the summer, wouldn't think of staying anywhere else..... Great staff and nothing to much trouble... Excellent 👌

Has no tea, coffe or milk in the room inspite of there being an Electric Kettle, Cups, Spoons and sugar.... Was told we should bring our own .....Have never read anything that said that, so no pre warning.. Thought it might be an opportunity for the Hotel to make an additional small charge for the Service.... I do have to admit that the Electric kettle etc; is a new service introduced recently....but would be nice to enjoy a cup of tea when getting up or settling down for the night.... Also would be good to have an English news channel on the TV..

I stay here 4 times a year en route from Santander to Alicante/return. I have used the hotel for 15 years. Great location next to the A1. Lovely rooms, beds and facilities. Good breakfast available if required and the restaurant which opens at 8pm is 20 yards away. There is also an on site cafe. The hotel is situated within its own vineyard, excellent wines!!

Judging by the photo of the dining area on the Booking website we had thought that the hotel was an old building but in fact it is an upmarket motel by the side of the motorway. But, after the initial surprise we were in fact very happy with it. The room was on the ground floor with French windows opening out onto a view over extensive vineyards and the room itself was well designed and of a very reasonable size. The town of Aranda was a five minute drive away and re-paid an afternoon's visit - though possibly not very much more. The hotel restaurant was modern and well-equipped and they served a thoroughly pleasant supper. The Booking site mentioned a parking charge but none was made and parking in the immediate surroundings of the hotel was ample. The rather splendid room featured on the website proved to be the capacious breakfast room and breakfast itself was fine.

Lovely typical Spanish hotel just off A1 Madrid - Burgos, so great if travelling to or from the ferry. We have stayed here a number of times, and have always been happy. We have usually had a large comfortable room overlooking the vineyards, and have found booking half board to be excellent value. Also plenty of free outside parking.

Nothing really - for the price we paid everything was perfectly acceptable.

Near to motorway great stopover to Santander ferry Terminal. Restaurant fabulous . spa fabulous. Garage facilities great even got electric chargers for cars. Parking is free. Everything you need in the rooms comfortable beds nice clean bathrooms. Kettle fridge paper cups tea , but we always take our own tea and coffee mugs and travel with a bottle of milk and water as we prefer ours.

Air con didn’t work. It was hot. Did report it straight away . Told it was fixed. When we came back from restaurant late evening we found it still not working. Too late to complain again as we needed to rest before driving to ferry next day. We opened the windows to make us more comfortable unfortunately bitten by the mosquitoes. Breakfast isn’t worth having in the hotel the cafeteria is better.

It was a warm spacious and comfortable room, clean and well equipped and also very quiet considering its location near to the motorway The public area is stunning with views over the vineyards. Breakfast was good with plenty of

Only that bar and dining facilities are available in the cafeteria across from the hotel and not in the main building. It would have been nice to sit and enjoy a drink in such nice surroundings.

It must be about twenty-five years by now that I have been stopping by here regularly for dinner and an overnight stay, whether it was for my job or holidays so I can recommend the place with a clear conscience. The underground car park, the warm welcome by the friendly staff, the spacious, clean rooms, the fantastic restaurant and shop with local specialities and a huge selection of wines from the region, the generous breakfast buffet, the ongoing investments (Wellness area, charging stations for hybrid and electric cars, and so on)... I simply love this place, its atmosphere and its people!

Location is excellent, rooms are a good size , the breakfast is of good quality & variety.

Dining experience was ok , good value for money for the menu del dia. However the service was inconsistent & slow. Would like to have a greater choice of alcoholic drink in the hotel . Can only purchase through a vending machine . There is no bar . Don't want to go into the service station for a drink
