Last minute booking as we didn't get off the train in Tarragona and found ourselves in Barcelona! Staff helpful and pleasant, especially the lady when we left. Beds comfy and clean

Reception on 6th floor so a bit confusing when we arrived late in the evening. Rust in the bath and on radiator. No view whatsoever, the description after booking showed a balcony for us (not a huge problem as we literally just slept there). Air conditioning unit was noisy. Also the switch for the bathroom light is faulty as it fizzled when we switched it on (forgot to report this when we left)

We chose one of the smallest rooms, but despite that, it had enough space. The room had everything you needed for living. It was quite comfortable and had a lot of light. Of course, there was air conditioning, which was very convenient. The bathroom was quite spacious - I didn't even expect such a size. We liked the room - it was very clean and tidy. Some rooms in the hotel have their own terrace, but don't be upset if your room doesn't have one because the hotel has a small shared terrace on the seventh floor from which you can observe many historical places and the Sagrada Familia with its incredible towers. The staff was friendly. If you are missing something, the staff will be happy to provide it for you, like an iron or something similar. This hotel is located near the historic place of Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, with its charming-colored roofs, and is just a 5–10-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Also, you can find lots of cafeterias and shops around. Conveniently, there is a bus stop nearby, which can take you to the most important places, and a little further, there is a city sightseeing bus stop.

The room was big and clean. The air-condition was working well. Very good location. Only walking distance to Sagrada Familia. Around 30min walk to Passeig the Gracia. There's a lot of shops and restaurant around. We only did a lot of walking which we enjoyed so much although metro and buses were very accessible from the hotel. There's a cafe around the corner where you can get a delicious croissant for breakfast. The staff especially Oriel was very helpful giving us informations and directions how to reach to places. Overall, it was a good experience with Hotel Everest.

Elevator operates until 6th floor only where the hotel's reception is located. Our room was in 8th floor but Oriel helped us to bring our luggage. We didn't mind taking stairs going up but in case for others who would not be able to take at least 4 plights of stairs to reach their room. I just wished that there's at least a kettle to make tea or coffee.

All the staff are accommodating and welcoming. About the room, I like that they are budget friendly for this season but you really get what you paid for. The room is enough big for us 2 people the bathroom is spacious too! The location is just 10mins walk to Sagrada and you can see it from the rooftop. Buses/metro are just around the corner.

Everything's good. Gothic style but I would suggest if they can put an option to control the heater inside the room. It is really hot and suffocating. I tried to move the "switch" but it's not working.

I recently returned for my second stay at this hotel, and once again it exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Sagrada Familia, making it ideal for exploring the city. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, while the staff are consistently professional, attentive, and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.

- Really amazing location, near a metro station and just a short walk away from Sagrada Familia - Nice size room with a huge balcony - The staff allowed us to leave our luggage after check out, since our flight was late in the evening

- Wifi connection was really weak most of the times - Our visibly dirty towels were not changed and instead kept being folded back until we explicitly asked for new ones

The location of this property couldn't be more perfect—situated next to the stunning Sant Pau and just a 12-minute walk from the iconic Sagrada Familia. The neighborhood is wonderfully calm, and you can feel that charming local vibe. We were pleasantly surprised to be hosted in a room that was recently renovated so it exceeded our expectations. The bathroom was incredibly spacious, allowing us to comfortably prepare at the same time, which was a fantastic convenience.

Despite booking for two, the room was only stocked with toiletries and towels for one person but it was solved once we commented it to the staff. While the property itself was nice, the high prices in Barcelona do impact the overall value. Nonetheless, our experience was positive, and the exceptional location and welcoming ambiance left a lasting impression.

Location was very good, with a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood, two metro stations in a short walk distance and not far from the Sagrada Família. Staff was also very nice and helped us to find a hospital.

The photos gave the impression the room was a little bigger, and that all the rooms have a Terrasse, which was not the case. Walls are very thin and we could hear a lot from the halls.

For the price I paid (300 for 2 nights) was very good. The place itself doesn’t have much utilities, just the bare minimum (extra points for AC) but the staff is great and makes sure you have the best experience. So I recommend it for a city break!

They have a weird reception system, but it works somehow:)) Also the room with terrace is not worth, you have free terrace at 7 floor and is the same thing.

Staff were helpful, especially Oriol (addressed all my queries in detail, even the littlest of them) and another lady (I forgot the name, sorry). Room was spacious enough (traveled solo) to accommodate open luggages when packing/unpacking, as was the toilet (not cramped like in other hotels). Near restos, there's even a well-rated Italian resto downstairs. PET-friendly! :)

NO safety dep box (though the fine print indicated there was). Nonetheless, safety wasn't an issue as the reception is manned 24/7. They also require you to leave your key with them everytime you leave your room (as a safety precaution also, I suppose). Not enough power sockets. Location - not very near key touristy areas, but if walking is not an issue, then this should be okay. Maybe a bit pricey as a small hotel, and considering its location (or perhaps I just snagged a not-so-good deal at the time of my booking) as there are other cheaper ones near key locations, but then again, as mentioned, maybe the timing of booking factored in.
