The hotel actually exceeded our expectations. It's rated as a 2-star, but honestly, it deserves to be a 3-star in my book. Everything is brand new — rooms, facilities — the whole place feels just right. Breakfast was amazing, a proper hot meal served by an incredible team. Our flight was leaving early on the last day, so we were going to miss breakfast. But the staff invited us to come in ahead of schedule and served us before their regular hours. The service was everything you could hope for.

Just a personal impression — the hotel’s decor is entirely black and white. I had expected a bit more color, especially in vibrant Spain, but if monochrome interiors are your thing, you’ll really enjoy it here. The surrounding area was just okay — not much to see or do locally, so I’d rate the location as average. That said, the metro station right next to the hotel was a major plus. In just 15–20 minutes, you can easily get to all the city's top attractions.

I am extremely impressed by the adequate response of the staff. The first night I was placed in a room that was unfortunately very noisy. There were people under the window at night and I could hear the noise of the boulevard. I could not sleep. Early in the morning I reported to the reception, fortunately there were free rooms and they immediately moved me. The new room was extremely quiet and comfortable.

Poor breakfast. Although the room rates were not cheap, breakfast was not included and was not worth the extra charge that was required. I only had breakfast the first morning at the hotel.

I stayed there from November 8-15, 2024. I was in a single room, which was well equipped. Even though the hotel is being renovated, it didn't bother me at all. The staff are wonderful and helpful. The location is great and the nearby metro (L3 & L2) takes you quickly throughout the city. The El Poble sec district is lively with many hidden culinary delights. Go discover them! For music lovers: P62 and Apollo are around the corner on Paral-lel. Furthermore, a beautiful walk to the Museum of Miro and the surroundings of the Olympic Stadium is an absolute must!

What may be annoying to some people are the vibrations of the metro. It didn't bother me myself. I grew up in a big city with a lot of commotion.

Everything was nice - the room was of a good size, with comfy beds, a spacious bathroom, and daily room service. The hotel's location is very good, with connectivity to all parts of the city through metro lines and a metro station in front of the hotel, as well as numerous bus lines. The staff was really friendly, we were able to use their luggage storage since our return flight was way after the checkout. They were even able to provide us with an iron.

Nothing in particular. It's really good value for the money.

Altogether a good apartment, well located, clean.

We had a bed issue with one of the staff (2 separate asked at booking, a queen size got) which was not handled properly. The style of the communication was very disappointing. To be honest, one other member of the staff managed it well a day after (plus 1 breakfast received for free), so only a minor complain.

Great location. Comfortable and clean. Room cleaned and tidied each day to a high standard. Easy to use safe in room, fridge and nice shower room. Just a short walk to the nearest metro. Also on bus route. Staff were helpful. One of them did say to another guest that the Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby but Irma was OK on the first floor as well.

Only breakfast served but it was surrounded by restaurants.

A great little room, there is a fairly large desk for work and a storage space. The shower room is spacious. The stuff was excellent and always in their place. A very good breakfast with lots of dishes.

Despite being in a great location near the metro and practically in the city center, that was also a downside — the windows of my room faced a busy avenue, and it was very noisy in the evenings. I could only fall asleep with earplugs.

The hotel is at a very good location, very close to the Paral-lel Metro, making it very easy to go anywhere. Even the Funicular to Montjuic is from the same station (you need to search for it though, as the way to the funicular is at the end of the metro’s platform). I went to the top with the funicular and was able to easily climb down from the castle to the hotel. I eve went on foot to many parts like the La Ramblas. It was really nice to have been upgraded to a double room which was spacious. They provided a kettle and some teabags in the room, besides a refrigerator and a locker (safe). You can also borrow the umbrella if it’s raining. They provide housekeeping everyday. I really loved my stay there and would gladly stay again.

It’s just a suggestion for housekeeping. Or probably I didn’t understand the protocol. Usually if you leave the towel on the floor, it is considered that you want it replaced. But I didn’t leave it on the floor and yet, it was changed everyday. Considering the water shortage in Barcelona, may be they can give clearer instructions on how to indicate when you want it changed and when not.

The hotel is located near the metro station, it is convenient to get anywhere you want. We mostly walked, because the hotel is within walking distance of the sea and central attractions. The room looks the same as in the photo, everything is clean, beautiful, comfortable, there was even a balcony in the room. The bed was washed every day, and the towels were changed. Delicious "buffet" type breakfasts at the time of our stay for 13 euros. There were different goodies every day. Friendly staff

We liked being in a very convenient location. Metro station Parallel 3' from the hotel and a great pedestrian road with numerous bars,restaurants!!!! Zodiaco was our favourite. A Carrefour supermarket right on the corner!!!! The bed was king size , air conditioned room, a fridge!!!and the staff helpful.

We asked for a wake up call at 5.45 a.m on a Thursday but we never got one.SOS!!!! Fortunately we had thought of a second call , so as to go to the airport in time. The hairdrier never worked properly and the next door guests were heard ......probably due to poor insulation in our room. The windows were dirty and the lamps over the bedside tables were covered in dust!!!!!!!
