Great value for money. Right near the cathedral so perfect location. Breakfast was abundant and very flexible hours, would really recommend. Airconditioning worked really well. Parking is very close by for 15€/day. It is a bit of a puzzel to get there but it is worth it for the money and location.

Some small details that would make the place even better: we stayed in a private room, the family room. It had 5 beds and the room was large but the private bathroom really small. If 5 people would have stayed there, I think it would be too small. It also had a kitchenette but a sign on the door said that you weren't allowed to use it. Bit weird. The windows didnt stay open all the way and the blinds didnt close all the way. Overall don't let this dissuade you, it is a great find!

Right next to the Leon cathedral, excellent location. However, by car, it is not easy to find as you will need to travel down the old town inner streets which can be confusing. Walking is not a problem at all. Very very spacious, comfortable, facilities are acceptable. Just no kettle for hot water. Everything else is fine. We took the family room.

The parking is extremely tricky. It is right next to the property but very very tight 180* turns. Impossible with our 8 seater car. May be better with a smaller car. Unfortunately we were unable to park and we’re not able to get a refund. Nevertheless, we got very good directions to this carpark which was very helpful. Perhaps worth the €20 we paid.

Really cosy, warm and friendly hotel only 30m from the Cathederal. This is a great little hotel in an amazing location. Our room on the third floor (lift) was in the roof eves and was an excellent and spotlessly clean. The en-suite was large with a big walk in shower. The room has air conditioning and a TV. In the basement there is a communal area with small kitchen and sofas. I highly recommend breakfast (from 7:15). For $6:95 it was amazing value with cereal, fruits, cheese, meats, bread, pastries, juice, yoghurt and a fabulous coffee machine.

Very close to the gorgeous Cathedral on a quiet street. Easy access back to the Camino de Santiago. Elena was at the front desk when I checked in. She was helpful and personable; giving clear instructions for both check-in and check out. Room was just as advertised: dormer style, spotless, perfect size for one evening stay. Lovely place. I would stay there again.

The only negative I noticed is the need for a maintenance review in the shower. There appeared to be a mold issue/ need for recaulking.

The staff are so friendly, l arrived late in the evening and there was a remote check in that the staff welcomed me over camera speaker phone. I would like to mention the staff member who checked me was so polite and friendly. And different staff member who was on reception she also was managing the breakfast room. She was a really friendly person. I really didn't want to leave. The place is so close to the cathedral of Leon. Thank you for a wonderful service.

I didn't the place was amazing.

Location: quiet SAFE street 1 block from the Cathedral. Cozy, small, very personalized attention despite an electronic live video checkin system that was easy. Small room but super comfortable bed and soft bedding, clean and quiet. Loved the 2 receptionists both Elena’s, friendly, super energetic and caring! And the €5.50 buffet breakfast was the best I’ve had in 62 days walking across France (yes!) and now Spain.

Nothing, I don’t understand the few negative comments about this small hotel.

Access to hotel is a real nightmare if you came by private car. Nearby parking instruction, access and spaces are challenging and not recommended for a big car. The room is small, with no view, no tea or coffee facility, no fridge, and very basic facilities if any.

Fabulous location right next to the cathedral! The hotel is in a characterful old building. The staff were helpful & we benefited from an early check-in. Our ground floor room was very quiet & comfortable, although small. We used the shared kitchen to make dinner, which was great on a long trip. The hotel offers simple accommodation that is terrific value-for-money.

A kettle & coffee maker would be useful in the kitchen.

Well located. 1 minute to the Cathedral. Very good value. 2 negatives from perfect: Reception staff goes home at 3:00pm. So you need to check-in by remote audio. Once we figured out how to initiate the audio connection, the check-in was fairly quick. The second quibble was that the shower was fairly small.

The location is superb, maybe 150 meters down a quiet street off the Cathedral Plaza. The staff is very warm and welcoming and the property is very nice. Excellent value as well. This was our second Alda property and we've been very happy with both.
