I feel bad that I forgot to do this review right after our stay but maybe it’ll come back to me as I text this now. Nothing bad happened. Our room overlooked the square and historic buildings. The spa tub was wonderful so book that level room because it’s worth it. The bathroom was very clean. We were able to explore León on foot easily from this location. The bathrobes were nice and necessary at the end of June because it was freezing at night and we hadn’t packed sweaters or warm clothing. We had a delicious lunch in the hotel restaurant one of the days. We bar-hopped on our last day as there was a festival of some sort happening and it was very lively in that area. The bars outside and in front of the hotel were all good fun. We went to three of them. Maybe there are only 3 there?

Nothing bad that I can remember now.

A really lovely hotel, we had a very comfortable standard room that looked out over a pretty square with a couple of bar/restaurants. Brilliant location, just a few minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor and all the sights of the old town. Great to have the option of parking on site. If you're driving, then it's worth reading the instructions the hotel send you carefully, and perhaps having a look at Street View on Google maps, so you know what to look out for. When you arrive, the car park entrance is on the right, about 50 metres before the hotel entrance. Miss it - as we did - and you'll just need to reverse back to it! Leon is a wonderful, compact city, perfect for exploring on foot. Can highly recommend the tourist train as a way of orienting yourself. Will definitely return for a longer stay.

Nothing at all to dislike

The hotel is located right inside the city walls and it's easy to get around. You could walk anywhere in 15- 20 minutes. There is secure parking too. It is a more modern hotel than I anticipated from looking at the outside and was very comfortable. The staff could not have been nicer and we had a great breakfast too.

We really appreciated getting the clear directions on how to enter the city walls, but it would have helped to know where the garage was located. We had to back down the road a little - not a problem as we were there off season, but it could be tricky in the summer.

The hotel is in a fantastic location overlooking the beautiful El Grano square. Great range of tapas/pinchos bars and restaurants very close by. We particularly liked the little place across the square called Popina and had a wonderful small but simple meal there with a superb glass or two of Rioja. All the sights of central Leon are easily walkable including the beautiful cathedral and Casa Bottines which has great museum for Gaudi lovers.

Breakfast choice could be a little more varied. Not warned that the restaurant is not open on Friday or Saturday which could have been difficult if we had been too tired to go out and find anywhere. However restaurants are not far.

Beautifully appointed hotel in a quiet location overlooking the 15th C Plaza del Grano. Super comfortable beds, and very spacious room and bathroom with doors opening onto Juliet balcony. Lovely garden and courtyard. Very good restaurant. Ideal location for the Old Town and the many attractions.

We were disappointed with the breakfast, which we only took on the last day. We were surprised that the tables were not set, nor were there any staff to welcome us. The breakfast selection was not very exciting, and there was only filter coffee. At 15€ we thought this should have been much better, especially as our experience of lunch at the hotel had been excellent. A big contrast to the rest of our stay.

The hotel is in a great location in the old part of town down the small streets and pedestrian areas. You have to give your registration number on arrival to avoid getting fined. The hotel looks out onto the old market square, which is a hive of activity on an evening. I thought we had breakfast included in the price, which apparently we did not, which made the stay more expensive. Leon is a bustling town with lots to see and do. You could easy spend a week exploring.

Breakfast was not included in our room rate, which made the stay over our budget. This hotel was at the higher end of our budget to start with. We have stayed nicer places for a lot less. When all we want us somewhere clean to sleep it was expensive for the few hours we were in the room.

Lovely hotel within the centre of the old town and overlooking a picturesque square. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Building well looked after and very clean. Very quiet at night as just far enough away from the busier areas. Parking in an enclosed area to the rear of the hotel. Room basic, but very spacious and clean. Bathroom also quite spacious and again very clean. Didn’t have breakfast as a little pricey, and no hot options, but knew this when booking. Leon is a lovely old city and easy walking within and beyond the old town. Lots of bars and restaurants starting only a few minutes away. Leon is a university city and is very lively in the evenings with lots of young people creating a nice atmosphere.

What a wonderful location in a beautiful, peaceful square. The room was bright,clean and had lovely outlook onto the square. Large bathroom. Helpful and very pleasant staff on arrival. Easy to find by using the specific directions provided and good to park in the city although there was a.nightly charge. Gluten free produce provided for buffet breakfast. Easy walk to bar across the square and short distance from everything within the city.

Percolated coffee at buffet breakfast. We've had such great coffee in Spain it was a shame not to have a personal service.

The room was a very nice and bigger than expected. The room had a modern decor and was very clean. The bathroom was spotless and had a nice shower. The bed was large (twin beds) and comfortable. The lady at reception was very helpful. Car parking was available in the courtyard, although it was bit tight driving in with a big car. It was worth the extra cost for the convenience. Location was great, 5 - 10 mins walk to all sights and restaurants.

The breakfast was bit basic for the cost charged. We would appreciate an effort to reduce single use plastic, e.g. have refillable bottles rather than mini bottles of toiletries.

This is such a nice hotel, which is located in a really lovely peaceful scenic square just a few minutes walk from the center of the old town. The building is very modern inside with a nice lobby and really helpful friendly staff. My room was bright and large with an oblique view of the old square and had all the facilities expected in a quality hotel (safe, fridge, kettle etc). It was also nicely furnished (if a little colourless) with a good sized bathroom which had a good powerful shower. The room was very quiet at night. In all a great hotel which was also really good value for money.

I would not recommend the breakfast - it was a fine quality but the choice wasn't that good or interesting.
