I feel bad that I forgot to do this review right after our stay but maybe it’ll come back to me as I text this now. Nothing bad happened. Our room overlooked the square and historic buildings. The spa tub was wonderful so book that level room because it’s worth it. The bathroom was very clean. We were able to explore León on foot easily from this location. The bathrobes were nice and necessary at the end of June because it was freezing at night and we hadn’t packed sweaters or warm clothing. We had a delicious lunch in the hotel restaurant one of the days. We bar-hopped on our last day as there was a festival of some sort happening and it was very lively in that area. The bars outside and in front of the hotel were all good fun. We went to three of them. Maybe there are only 3 there?

A really lovely hotel, we had a very comfortable standard room that looked out over a pretty square with a couple of bar/restaurants. Brilliant location, just a few minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor and all the sights of the old town. Great to have the option of parking on site. If you're driving, then it's worth reading the instructions the hotel send you carefully, and perhaps having a look at Street View on Google maps, so you know what to look out for. When you arrive, the car park entrance is on the right, about 50 metres before the hotel entrance. Miss it - as we did - and you'll just need to reverse back to it! Leon is a wonderful, compact city, perfect for exploring on foot. Can highly recommend the tourist train as a way of orienting yourself. Will definitely return for a longer stay.

Nothing at all to dislike

The Hospedaria is a beautiful building, the room was spacious enough for our group of 4, and everything was very clean. There is a private but small car park on site. It is an excellent location, in the historic center, so it is a short walk to the main attractions of Leon and to many restaurants, bars, shops. The lady at the reception was very helpful and gave us great suggestions about visiting the city.

The Hospedaria is in the historic center, nearby a square with restaurants and bars, so it may be noisy at times. The room was very comfortable, but thin walls, we could hear the neighbours.

Right in centre of Potes, parking outside for motorcycles. Pleasant reception staff upon check in. Room old , basic but suited my needs for 2 nights exploring area on my motorcycle 🏍 A fan is provided as there is no a / c. Slept well throughout night 🌙 Breakfast is self service & coffee ☕️ is provided which is very nice in a pot with warm milk 🥛. Easy check out as bill had been ore paid months earlier. Would definitely stay again if I'm passing through the area.

Take care if on a motorcycle as parking area is steep & a few were having problems putting their side stands down, best to push bike into place to park.

An amazing little hotel. Extremely neat and tidy. The rooms were decorated simply but elegantly; the bed was amazingly comfortable. The air conditioning worked great and the breakfast was delicious. Built next to a convent and a stop for pilgrims on the Camino, we enjoyed a great location just minutes from the main walking area in Léon, and also enjoyed talking to some of the pilgrims making their way through Spain. I was sad to leave this hotel.

Nothing. Just be warned that the parking, although on site, can be a little tight if you drive anything larger than a midsize SUV. however, we were assured large trucks were able to navigate the parking easily.

We loved our stay in this spacious, clean and stylish room. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We had a lovely view over the rooftops of Leon, the plaza below, the local church spire and the Cathedral in the distance. It was in a great location being within the Old City and right next to a church where Mass is held each evening including the Benedictine Nuns beautiful singing of their night prayers followed a Pilgrims blessing.

The bathroom is very spacious and includes a shower and spa bath (whirlpool). However, it is in need of maintenance. The shower leaks water all over the floor and has permanent mould. We used the spa bath once then noticed the bath water had blobs of brown mould. We refilled the bath a few times running the spa jets, each time more mould came out of the jets, needless to say, we did not use the spa bath again. However we still enjoyed our stay, it was just disappointing not being able to use the spa.

This is an excellent hotel. The first thing we experienced was the cordial and helpful receptionist. She was super friendly and informative. She has a good sense of humor and her English was more than adequate. She helped us solve a problem by showing us how to get to a shopping center that would be open on a Sunday. The room was large and comfortable and had all the amenities. One thing we really loved was an icon of the Madonna and child in the room. This added to a very Catholic feel to the place. We were reminded of the religious significance of this area. The location of the hotel was very close to a convent where they had a pilgrims blessing which was part of the vesper prayers of the convent. It was very beautiful.

The whole experience was superb. Staff were great, hotel was great, facilities superb and room was very spacious Various restaurants and cafes were within walking distance and historical tourism in the old town was excellent.

Took us about twenty minutes to find the entrance to the old town. GPS, Google Maps and Waze with their directions did not help. Driving around an happened to come across the entrance by accident. The hotel is located right inside the city walls and it's easy to get around. You could walk anywhere in 15- 20 minutes. There is secure parking too. It is a more modern hotel than I anticipated from looking at the outside and was very comfortable. The staff could not have been nicer and we had a great breakfast too.

We really appreciated getting the clear directions on how to enter the city walls, but it would have helped to know where the garage was located. We had to back down the road a little - not a problem as we were there off season, but it could be tricky in the summer.

The reception greeting was friendly and helpful. The room was large and very comforable with an excellent bathroom. The location is convenient for walking to the city centre. The peace and tranquility of the hotel was delightful

A peaceful and delightful stay. We only gave 4 rather than 5 stars on TripAdvisor as the breakfast is no more than adequate. However our greeting at reception was superb, and our room was large and very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located and an easy walk into town. Recommended
