The property was directly opposite the cathedral and was in area full of food options, so that was very convenient. It was clean . Water pressure was great. WiFi connection was good. The price point was just right and the young lady at reception was very friendly and helpful.

My window opened to an inner courtyard. There was a constant humming sound from a machine (a generator?) throughout the day so I had to keep the window closed and the metal shutter down all the time . The opposite wall was next to the lift shaft so I could hear the lift being used.

The location was outstanding. Also a special thanks to the wonderful desk staff. Very friendly and supportive. The hostel itself is very clean and comfortable. No amenities and the rooms are small but they have everything you need and it was safe and clean. Restaurants right outside the door and the best plaza in town.

Was exactly what I expected.

The accommodation is literally diagonal from the cathedral and right next-door to a great restaurant and super convenient to shopping and sightseeing. Although when I was visiting was when all of Spain had its blackout, the staff was very accommodating and was able to get me into my room without too much difficulty.

Tucked away in a side alley, very close to the Cathedral, restaurants, museums, plazas and stores, Hostal Albany was a great choice. The staff were attentive and helpful answering our questions. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Plenty of options for breakfasts were not far away.

Could not find the window had to put lights on and to put a card I n to turn lights on. Also did not to leave. If I visit Leon again I keep this hostel in mind

Best location, quiet room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good WiFi, television, easy access, good air-conditioning. The room, although it was a small single, was very comfortable and well planned.

Lighting in the shower room was adequate, but it could be slightly better. I had to find the right spot to stand and have a shave.

A comfy bed, clean, pleasant staff, great location, quiet in the hotel (everywhere is noisy outside). Go ahead and book a fancy hotel but unless you want to spend the weekend in your room I'd stay here and have a great meal out on the money you save.

This place is just off the cathedral square. It is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. What beautiful rooms 😍. The staff are friendly. This hostel is right on the camino. Very quiet with soundproof windows. Gorgeous restaurant attached,

We were upgraded to the Albany Ancha next door which was very nice - it’s the same location, staff and services so I will comment on that. Front desk and housekeeping were all very helpful. Location is excellent right by the Cathedral. We especially appreciated the same day laundry service that was priced by the bag instead of the item - terrific service and a great value.
