I’m not sure where to start! The hotel is simply perfect. We were absolutely overwhelmed how beautiful it was and we also loved the vibrant village. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food & wine were both first class. Breakfast was fantastic, a wide range to choose from.

We chose the location for walking, and there are some great trails in the valley. The town itself seems to be on the up after a downturn with a varied and interesting food offer. It is not far to visit the wine growing areas of La Rioja.

Out of season so no option to eat in the restaurant in the evening. Breakfast cakes could have been fresher.... Poor tourist office in the town in terms of opening hours and information, given Ezcaray is supposed to offer a range of outdoor experiences.

Welcoming staff, but felt sorry that she was only one on duty to deal with reception, bar and serving tables, however done with a smile. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was good, but additional plates on serving table would have helped if one wanted to go from savoury to sweet, eg tomato and garlic, followed by fresh fruit, also additional cutlery would have been useful. The only other complaint was that we could not make the air conditioning unit to work, therefore a little warm.

Tucked away in the centre of a quiet village wonderful architecture. Warm welcome comfortable room excellent meal and good nights sleep. Unhurried breakfast

Impeccable service. The staff went over and above to make sure any wish was granted. Love this village and the hotel. V. Good variety for breakfast including Gluten Free.

This was a beautifully restored hotel in a pretty village which we approached via a lovely tree lined avenue. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and bed linen and towels really nice quality. We had a great view from our room of the fabulous sandstone church Perfect secure under ground parking for our motorbike The staff were very helpful, pleasant and welcoming Breakfast was good, the usual spread with some added cakes and sweet treats. Nice garden/terrace area with cover of needed The small town is a ski resort town in the winter and has a number of bars and restaurants

Everything 😄.Hotel in a good position. Lovely big room and comfy bed ..The Hotel receptionist couldn't do enough. It was our Anniversary and she bought us a special sweet when we had our evening meal.All the staff attentive .Pet friendly🐕. Will return
