Great vantage point, worth the short (but uphill) work from old town for the terrace view. All the staff were extremely helpful, and very lovely. Hotel clean, and had good vibes. Breakfast was great, huge selection and good quality.

The pool is perfect for cooling off in, but not as large as I’d anticipated (more dipping pool than swimming pool). Some more sun loungers, and some shaded areas on the terrace would have improved our stay and allowed us to chill out there for longer in the hot temperatures. Similarly a water cooler/fountain in reception would have been a useful touch.

Night staff were very nice, specially the three barmen at the lobby. Also, the receptionists in the evening (male and female, sorry I didn't get the names). The bed super-comfortable. Very nice bathroom, huge! The main lobby and the terrace... JUST BREATHTAKING, stunning views and a modern and accommodating lobby for a late drink in the bar. Great location.

The room was very big but plain. Just a stained tv table and the TV set. No pictures, nor coffee machine/tea nor any type of decoration like you would expect to find in 4 Stars rooms. The velvety seat was not very clean so I could not use it. :(

Good quality furnishings. I loved the terrace area with the wonderful views. Bar prices were reasonable. There's an area near to the reception desk where you can have coffee (€2) and buy snacks and drinks. This is a great idea. The small fridge even held a couple of sandwiches, beer and a choice of dairy, oat or soya milk. Just take whatever you want and add it to your room bill. Good location - we walked into the old town in about 15 minutes. Free car park.

The bathroom was a bit strange with frosted glass walls and no light or sound insulation.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Got the fast train to Barcelona after a walk to the train station. We loved the view and the breakfast was great.

As seniors we didn’t like climbing back up the hill especially after a day walking around Barcelona. But was doable. We didn’t like no tea or coffee facilities in the room. We didn’t like that a small bottle of water each in the room on the first day was not provided on the second day, we questioned this and was told you only get the water the first night. Really? This is a 4 star hotel. Besides that a lovely place to stay.

Spacious, quiet room with comfortable bed and a separate living room. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of continental options and a few hot options. We were there for a cycling holiday, and the hotel had locked garage storage for the bike box and bikes, or you could also bring the bikes to the room. The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax after a day's cycling, watching the sunset, with views over Girona and the surrounding mountains. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient throughout our stay.

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but the hotel had a Nespresso machine/ tea opitions in the lobby for €2. Be mindful that the hotel is up higher - short, tight climb on the bike, but the rooftop terrace is worth it.

The hotel is quietly situated above the town of Girona. We were particularly after somewhere with secure parking and the underground car park was great and also free of charge. The rooms were spacious but somewhat impersonal and the decor was a little tired, paintwork chipped and scuffed. It did not matter to us personally but I would perhaps hesitate to recommend to friends because of this. We ate dinner in the restaurant which I have to say was delicious and excellent value.

Our room could certainly have done with some attention, as mentioned above the decor was very tired and in need of repair.

Great location, nice staff especially at the restaurant/bar on the rooftop. Quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Room was spacious, with a fridge, TV, hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, body milk and dental kits. Powerful AC.

Only one socket near the beds. Bath tub was not in its prime state. No signs to find the reception from the outside. The pool is small. The cleaning staff came in our room in the morning while we were sleeping. We got 2 small bottles of water on arrival but no more after and there's no coffee, tea, kettle in the room anymore.

The hotel is slightly elevated above Girona. It has a beautiful view over the city. The walk after a long bike ride and eating in the city can be a bit tedious as it is very steep. Otherwise the value for money is good. The rooms were clean.

There were no parasols in the pool area. At the temperatures that were there, parasols are mandatory. When I asked, they said they could only offer sunscreen. It has enough parking spaces, which is positive and this in free of charge

We liked being out of the intense heat of the city centre and enjoyed the ten minute walk into the old town. Beautiful views of the city from the rooftop pool (which is same level as reception so you get snacks and drinks from the tuck shop type set up) Our room was clean and comfortable. Daily housekeeping.

Pool was smaller than pictured but nice to have a dip after a day exploring. View from our room was disappointing but we used this as a base so didn’t bother us.

We only stayed for one night but wish we could have had more! Complementary water and aircon already on in the room were nice touches. Comfy bed, spacious room with fridge, tv etc if you want them. Toiletries also supplied. Terrace has an incredible view and small pool. Managed to get some sun beds in the shade so enjoyed the afternoon out there. Lovely in the evening. (Pool towels can be borrowed from reception). Short down hill walk into the old town, maybe 10 minutes. Only downside is having to come back up again on the way back! 15 minute walk to the train/bus station. Really enjoyed our short stay and would stay here again if we came back to Girona :)
