Great Hotel a bit tricky to find the PARKING location best to select PARKING PARADOR LlEIDA on google maps rather than the hotel or the road name . We stay at many Paradors as this was fabulous inside the hotel and staff were great .

Rather disappointing once you leave the hotel , not everywhere is as safe to walk around as other cities in Spain . The Castell De Sund castle just 8 minutes walk was well worth the visit up a up hill walk , and the Knights Templer de Gardeny castle as you leave the city .

A great place, amazing building, one of the best Chefs I have encountered in a long time. Great waiter (yes Mr. de Ruiter) The atmosphere is serene

The girl at the reception, unfriendly, answering in single words, "passport", "here", "there" etc. Incredible that totally uninterested people like her work in such an amazing environment. The room was steaming hot, I had mentioned this twice during the day. After the (amazing) dinner back at the room is was still boiling (bear in mind it was 6 degrees outside) so went down to complaint. Nothing could be done by the staff other than give me a key to check out another room myself and pack my stuff and carry my staff through the hotel myself at 23:00 in the evening.

The hotel has a very unique characteristics and is well located near the most attractive area in Lleida. The room was very nice and spacious and the breakfast was so fantastic and enjoyable. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if I visit Lleida.

A bit far away from the train station, hard to visit the hotel on foot from the station. My room window directly faced neighbor's rooftop area, so I had to keep the window curtain closed all the time

Everything. Parking was easy and very safe, right next to the Parador. The accommodation the food, the staff, the building all first rate. We had a small problem with my car. A warning light came on. The receptionist recommended a local garage in town that were excellent. Checked things over, topped up the oil which was a little low, filled up the washer bottle, cleaned the engine. Didn't charge us anything. The restaurant was exceptional, the waiter charming and helpful. This is a top star place

Very nice hotel with sweet amenity. Excellent size rooms, great large bed and efficient garaging facility. Evening restaurant was good without being spectacular and most of the wait staff not seemingly concentrating on patron needs. Highest commendation to Felix whose service was excellent.

The Parador seems located in something of a ghetto. It did not seem safe walking or driving the streets even in daylight & the street ”stench” on the morning of departure was disgusting. Shame really, since all this has nothing to do with the Parador. For the special price, the breakfast was very ordinary.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff at reception were welcoming and gave us a map and lots of advice about places to visit and how to get there. We had a good sized room with very comfortable bed, and a bathroom with bath/shower. Everything was really clean. We loved the building and enjoyed the echoes of the past. It has been beautifully renovated. The relaxing area in the centre, surrounded by the rows of arches, is amazing, and we enjoyed the huge expanse of the old church, where we had breakfast. Breakfast was fab, in true Parador style, and the great hit for us was the fresh orange juice machine. We really enjoyed operating it ourselves! The hotel is very close to local shops, and if you’re going to visit the Seu/ castle, you can go down to the shops and get an escalator (next to MacDonalds) to the lift which takes you right up to the Seu. We’d definitely stay here again - enjoy!

Room was spacious, comfortable, hotel was very clean and in a great location. Bar staff very good.

On checkin the lady was coughing at us, no attempt was made to cover her mouth when coughing. Not very nice in this post covid era. Sheets did not cover the bottom of the bed which is unhygienic. Cleaning team took away open soap and did not give replacement, leaving without the bar of soap they had supplied. Am allergic to their liquid soap

Breakfast absolutely superb, had evening bar meal which was fine Room spacious, quiet, comfortable

No tea & coffee making facilities available in the toom Also, turn right out of hotel & you get to a lively shopping street. Turn left, you are in a ghetto with a lot of young black men just hanging around. More intimidating when we came across a group of 20 or more shouting at each other. Probably not interested in us, but still uncomfortable.

The helpfulness of the reception staff, one of whom managed against the odds to find a garage to fix our car the next morning so that we could continue our journey. Very conveniently located for visiting the cathedral.

The descriptions of the food in the restaurant were so over the top that we decided it was safer to have a simple snack in the bar instead.

The property is a beautiful historic site, centrally located and close to everything. All the staff were friendly, helpful and a real pleasure to deal with. I ate in both the dining room and cafeteria. Excellent food, great service - so typical of Spain's Paradors. The pricing was very reasonable.

The bed was a bit creaky at times. Also, I was in a room on the exterior so there could be some street noise at times. Next time, I will ask for a room off the cloister.
