The Eurostars Grand Hotel in Lugo is very nice, modern, clean, well organized. The staff was efficient and helpful. We did not have a tea kettle in our room, but the receptionist quickly solved this issue and the kettle was promptly delivered to us. The room was spacious and sufficiently furnished. The beds were comfortable and clean. The view from the window was good. The location of this hotel is superb - close to the ancient Roman wall, which was one of the main goals of our trip to Lugo. The breakfast was excellent and very tasty. We parked our car right at the entrance door. Elevators were very convenient for moving our luggage

We liked everything about this hotel.

As many hotels are becoming more impersonal this one stands out insofar as there is, on entering the hotel, a separate cafeteria area with entrances from both the hotel and the street, a separate dining area towards the back of the hotel, and an entrance that is light, airy and generally very welcoming. The hotel was generally clean throughout, the staff helpful and the hotel close to the city centre. The price was also very reasonable compared to others of similar quality. An excellent choice.

A well appointed hotel, clean, pleasant helpful staff one of whom loaned me an umbrella when there was a torrential downpour just as we were going out. The same member of staff gave me good advice for using the underground car Park ( use the third floor down because the lift stops on that floor and you can access the hotel easier from there). Breakfast was excellent.

We had dinner in the hotel as we had been out walking in the city and were tired and wanted an early night. The waiting staff were excellent but the food at dinner was at best, mediocre. The air conditioning in our room seemed incapable of getting the temperature below 22C and the room was rather hot and therefore difficult to sleep in. In all other respects the hotel was very good

Could not fault anything in the Hotel. It was of a good international standard with spacious comfortable rooms. We were made welcome in a friendly efficient manner and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was a short, easy walk to the walls of the old town and the many restaurants and sights contained therein.

We did have a little difficulty finding our way to reception from the car parking. Easiest to continue to the lower level and then park as this is where the lift is located.

Everything was excellent in terms of comfort, service and cleanliness. The room is equipped with a minibar, a TV, hairdryer, towels, and shower gel, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. There was a bidet, and a tub with a shower head that was adjustable. It's a 6 minute walk to the Roman wall, and there are bakeries, supermarkets and many other services nearby. The area itself was tranquil for being so close to the old town. Parking is €14 per night, and they very kindly allowed us to leave our car in the car park for a few more hours after checkout. I was satisfied with my stay, and would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

We could hear lots of noises from people from the hallway outside and in the rooms above us. That's not the hotel's fault obviously, but I guess the soundproofing can be improved.

The Eurostars is well located, in walking distance to the city. The room was nice and spacious, the bathroom too. The safe was not working, I called reception and the battery was changed, problem solved. Check-in was excellent, at reception we were briefed about the city. Breakfast was good. Very good value for money. The hotel has a good parking (need to pay 14 €/day).

The view from the hotel is not nice. The furniture in the room is quite old.

We were hiking the Camino de Santiago and wanted somewhere nice to stay before we flew home. Lugo is a great city (it was our first visit) and the old town is located within a circular old city wall. Despite the hotel being situated a few mins walk from the old city wall, it is still in a very good location as Lugo is not a big city. The reception staff were really helpful and friendly and the rooms were good with nice quality toiletries.

Breakfast was OK but not as good quality as we expected. We stayed at the Eurostars hotel in Logrono previously and the breakfast there was incredible.

Fabulous hotel five minutes walk from the centre of lugo. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were wonderful. Comfortable beds, great bathrooms, really spacious and so clean. The concierge gave us great information and suggested a fantastic restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was extensive and great quality. We loved lugo and adored this hotel.

I arrived very late because the train I had booked for 18 Octoberbfrom Madrid to Ourense broke down, resulting me reaching the hotel between 1-2am in the early hours of the morning 19 Oct 2023. The night Reception was excellent. The break fast is served till 10:30am. Was good variety,fresh,espresso good. Staff kind and professional. Located a short walk from historical UNESCO intack Roman Wall and other wonderful historical sights,churches etc.

All was very good a wonderful place and people. There is only an idea because of what I experienced with the train for a special telephone number for taxis in case of very late delays for incoming travellers. So no dislikes for the hotel.

Really big room and bed, hard to find anything like it in Spain at this price range, they were like in a hotel in the US. The mini-fridge in the room was silent, again not a given in most hotels. The breakfast buffet had a good fruit selection. Also, there is plenty of free parking around 100m from the hotel.

The cleaning service works in a seemingly random fashion, so you can hear noises and the vacuum cleaner multiple times between 9AM and 10PM.
