The hotel charged extra €125 per night x 5 nights= €625 on top off the original total! I paid by debit card - now the hotel won’t return the €625 until after seven days!! I did not see this when I made the booking through booking.com.

Pool and facilities were great. Atmosphere also great all days. Our room, gold suite spacious and comfortable. City view room wasn’t the best but ok.

VIP check in staff were clueless, we wasn’t notified when our room was ready as promised. Service around the pool for food and drinks slow. €125 deposit , per room per day is far too high as a security deposit on the minibar.

The staff were phenomenal, especially the bar staff in the pool and lobby area. Always very accommodating with quick service. Breakfast was good with many options. Location is perfect, only a few minutes away from Puerto Banus and the Beach. The rooms were spacious although recommend those not looking out to the road as they can be noisy. The facilities in the hotel were good with music around the pool and good food options during the day. Prices are reasonable for location and calibre of hotel.

Entertainment in the hotel could've been better, there was little on at night to enjoy whilst sitting in the bar. Also it should be noted there is no air-conditioning in the hotel during 'winter months' this was not made aware to us during the booking and when we were told just to open the patio doors it didn't sit well. The hotel did eventually provide us with a fan and switch on the air-conditioning (albeit it couldn't be controlled to lower the temperature).

The soap wasn’t refilled until I requested to. Late check out cost 15€ per hour Wifi wasn’t secured ( this should be fixed as it’s very dangerous)

Amazing building/area/pools etc - stunning. Anton at reception was Superb. Night bar staff wonderful. Rooms comfortable, beds great. Stay there!

We were told at breakfast that we didn’t have it included - when we did - Anton resolved. Our room was not made up - Anton resolved. Bit light on staff - guessing it’s a skeleton staff this time of year running half full. Bit of a walk to Marina down an underpass I wouldn’t go near if it was in the uk lol.

We had a great time and stay at HRH. Check in and check out process were so smooth. Carla was amazing despite it was VERY busy when we checked in. Breakfast was the same for 3 days, would be nice if theres seafood since they are at the beach, instead of 3 different sausages :)) One time we were walking pass by pool restaurant it had decor of skulls at corner, we really thought it shouldnt be there as skulls are related to things that have nothing to do with a happy place. Our personal pov. Other than that and few minor preferences, we highly recommend! Our room was great, maintenance was also wonderful! Thank you HRH for making our trip memorable!! X

Review of Hard Rock Hotel Porto Banus In November, we booked a Gold Lux room and specifically requested a connecting room with in-between door, as this was important for us because we were traveling with our teenage son. However, when we arrived, the hotel did not have a room of this category available. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Iris from the reception desk, who handled our situation with great care and attention. We explained our issue to her and also mentioned that we were returning guests of the Hard Rock Hotel, having previously stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife. She promised to speak with the manager. When we came back for check-in at 3 PM, Iris asked us to wait a little longer, and by 5 PM, she was able to arrange a Pool View Gold Lux room with in-between door for us. We truly appreciate this effort and are very grateful. As for the room itself, it was absolutely perfect - luxurious, beautifully designed, and spacious. The Pool View provided a lovely sight of the pool and greenery, and the room was quiet and comfortable. A special thank you to the housekeeping team - the cleaning service was impeccable! Our room was always spotless, making it a pleasure to return to. Bed linens were changed every three days, which we truly appreciated. Regarding the food quality, we have no complaints at all. Breakfasts were great, and the dinners were always diverse, never repeating. Every evening, there was a different selection of dishes, including meat, chicken, grilled steaks, beef steaks, burgers, shrimp, fish, and a variety of fruits. The desserts were simply outstanding - our compliments to the hotel’s pastry chef! One small suggestion regarding live music- we visited off-season, so perhaps there is more entertainment in the summer. However, we noticed that dinner started at 7:30 PM, but live music in the lobby usually ended by 9 PM.

If you are looking for a hotel with nice party vibes - This is the place. The pool area, the lobby- nice music and atmosphere. Lovely rooms. Very clean. It is not all inclusive which is nice. Nice breakfast. Smells very pleasant- important. Friendly staff and you cannot see the lovely cleaning ladies but they do an amazing job. Me and my best friend booked a last minute half term break holiday with some of our kids and didn’t expect much but had an amazing time. Will be back soon. Thank you.

Just need to be aware that the hotel is like 10-15 minutes from the beach and the main tourist area. You can always get a taxi- very cheap. Mixed filling about the cocktails at the pool bar - love the mojito but the long ones weren’t the best ones:-). Lovely place though.

definitely an experience to remember. Wonderful interior design ideas and VIP collectables on exhibit. Great breakfast , nice friendly staff. But we would not choose for holidays until the hotel sorts a noise pollution wall or manages to get the whole motorway sound capsuled .

Enjoyed , but would not recommend for holidays, as the noice level of the nearby motorway is enormous and it never stops ! On top you have constant pop rock in-house radio at the pool. Guess if you book a HRH, you will expect it and appreciate it?

I loved everything about Hardrock Hotel. Room was comfy and clean, facilities were superb. Customer service was perfect. Breakfast and dinner was everything. Hotel environment feels so good. Live music most evenings and even some mornings. Overall really fantastic idea
