I recently stayed at Occidental Puerto Banús and had a great experience overall. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from the marina, shops, and restaurants. It was very convenient for exploring the area. One of the highlights of my stay was the cleanliness of the hotel. Everything was well-maintained, and the housekeeping service was impeccable. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise—very varied, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. The rooms were spacious, modern, and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, I found that they were not particularly helpful when it came to providing information about booking excursions, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, Occidental Puerto Banús is a fantastic choice for those looking for a well-located, clean, and comfortable stay with excellent breakfast options. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Loved the location, the rooms were great and we had a gorgeous view, breakfast was really good too with a good selection

A few items of jewellery did go missing on our first night and there were boxers and an empty condom wrapper found in one of the rooms

We travelled outside of school holidays and whilst there were quite a few guests we never had to wait for a seat at breakfast or at the bar. There was plenty of seating in the lounge and by the pool. the pool bar was really useful. It was only a 5 minute stroll to the Marina with plenty of bars, restaurants and high end fashion outlets and a short stroll to the many beaches. you really should have a ride on the Fly Blue catamaran to Marbella. Its a half hour trip, you can enjoy the small streets of Marbella with lots of shops and restaurants and get a later boat back. And if you like golf you'll be in you element.

I can honestly say, I cant think of anything I didn't like.

Tissue paper , complimentary water bottles only for Barcelona, com reservation but not for other reservation All connection through reception so if they are busy and not answering phone you should go down to talk to them to ask for cleaning or order any thing House keeper are ignoring order of cleaning especially if it late like after 4.30pm you should follow your request with receptionist for many times other wise it will be ignored Staff in reception some of them especially female Sara are very helpful and very nice , some of them especially old men are very tough and shouting and not respecting people

it was modern, great location, breakfast was excellent.

no tea/coffee facilities in the room, there was a little kitchen area but no kettle, cups or glasses, nowhere to get a coffee or drink downstairs

the property was lovely, everything has been newly done. great location can walk down to the harbour in less than 5 minutes. Friendly and helpful staff.

In the rooms there was no plates, glasses or cutlery, when we asked for some we were told we had to pay €25 for the week, I have never heard of this before I though it was very strange. The TV in the room had Netflix but it didn’t work. there was also no ashtray on the balcony. and they could do with providing body wash in the shower.

The lady at the breakfast buffet was amazing and she had service with a smile every day without fail. A real asset to the team. I have stayed at a number of premium 5-star hotels with over service and she easily belongs at those.

The parking is very expensive even for hotel guests. This should be free or less. Some of the breakfast items are of questionable quality. Don't touch the bacon or sausage unless you want an ultra-processed feast! Most staff are friendly and happy but some are grumpy.

BREAKFAST! this one was my favorite thing about the hotel. OMG, really really good, a wide variety of food, GUACAMOLE, CHURROS like 😍😍 delicious. defined next time going to puerto banus this will be my hotel of choice. LOCATION is absolutely the best, really, like 5min walking to the port, and close to all the shops. perfect and perfect. and the hotel smell delicious, I wonder what fragrance they use

the only thing was that the swim pool was empty and close, I know is winter in Marbella but, hahaha in Ireland that is like SUMMER, so i would have loved been able to sit in the swim pool with a piña colada :(
