The location is perfect for overnight travelling, just off the motorway. The staff were very charming and helpful. The evening meal was tasty, if expensive (see below). The beds were very comfortable.

Far too hot. The heat hit you as you entered the room, almost stifling. The aircon was on as well as radiators which were red hot. Easily remedied, we switched everything off and opened the window, but what a waste of money!. The food was nice, but not anything special.We felt it was overpriced for what it was. We had 8 pieces of very cold (out of the fridge) white asparagus, sitting on top of one very finely sliced tomato, with a handful of cornichons and capers. 15€ as a starter.

Lovely grounds. Attractive hotel. Lovely, welcoming staff. Spotlessly clean. Good sized room. Extremely good value for money. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning which we paid for separately at the hotel. Very reasonably priced bar too. This is an authentically Spanish hotel in a very beautiful area. The staff spoke English.

The air con didn't work, however, it had no impact on our stay as the windows were fitted with mosquito nets so we were able to have the windows open. The hotel was very cool anyway.

Excellent location for travelling across northern Spain. Stayed multiple times each year. Always clean and welcoming after a long journey.

We arrived to find the Restaurant was not open in the evening on a Friday and Saturday evening, only for Breakfast. Would have been good if we had been notified before we arrived. Navarrete though has some nice places to eat.

This is our second visit, this time we had an evening meal also breakfast both were very nice and well priced. This hotel is perfect for a one night stop over for the journey back to the UK, close to the motorway and close to the Bilbao ferry terminal. Also, we are thinking of using this hotel as a base for travelling around northern Spain.

Large hotel set in a beautiful park just at the entrance of Navarrete, a short drive from the main road. Easy check in and really nice lady at the reception. Large triple room - actually 2 rooms separated by the entrance lobby and the bathroom, which made it really more private for the 3 of us (couple and teen). Comfortable beds, AC. What made it is the park! Such a great place for a run or for playing with a dog. Local restaurants around Navarrete - a stop over for pilgrims on the St James of Compostella Way - were 10 minutes walk from the hotel - the restaurant in the hotel was fully booked unfortunately, and we woke up too late to even have breakfast so did so in town, plenty of options. The town and area are full of history too for those with the interest and time to explore and discover.

The smell of tobacco in the bedroom when we first arrived. We had to leave all windows open for several hours to clear the air.

We enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds with vineyards nearby. We took a fabulous tour of the Montecillo Winery, which is less than 5 miles away. We had dinner at El Figon Del Duque in a 15th Century Wine Cellar in Navarrete, which was excellent. This is an old hotel which has been updated. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

The rooms were cold and we couldn't seem to get the heat to work.

Stayed here lots over the last 7 years and it never fails to be just what is needed when we have travelled across the country. This time we stayed an extra night to enjoy the area more

The only downside is there was no dinner available on Saturday or Sunday however lots of options in Navarrete

Efficient booking in. Friendly staff. Comfortable stay. Travelling with a full car, we appreciated the security of the locked gates at night.

The heating was on full blast, so far too hot for us. Whilst we accepted the later eating time, which is normal for Spain, we were disappointed that there was no bar open either until 8.30pm. It would have been nice to sit in the sun with a glass of wine or a beer, but nothing was available.

Great location for overnight stop when driving from SE Spain to the ferry ports. Good safe parking, quiet and peaceful hotel. Good food and just a short walk into Navarrete if so inclined.

Nothing, it suits me needs very well as I travel to my home in Spain every alternate three months.

As always the perfect stopover between Barcelona and the ferry from Bilbao to Portsmouth.

The lift wasn’t working and there are many steps to 1st floor. So getting luggage to the room was difficult even though staff was helpful. I hope they get that lift repaired soon.
