What a delightful hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. Our first room was at the front of the hotel and the room was quite small. As it was a Saturday night, the hotel was full. However, the incredibly helpful staff Aida and Esteban, showed us some room options and we were very happy with room 207 for the next 3 nights. It had a balcony and was located on the side of the hotel with amazing views. The room was spotless. There was plenty of storage space, a large bathroom, with a powerful shower and lots of hot water. The breakfast was a buffet style continental breakfast, with lots of choice. Lierganes is a beautiful village with plenty of restaurants and cafes and a market on Sundays. There is a train station a short walk from the hotel and the train to Santander is less than 4 euros per person each way. We totally recommend this hotel.

The small double room is quite tight. It is worth a few more euros for a larger room with a balcony on the side of the hotel.

Nice, clean room. Good bathroom with strong pressure in the shower. Buffet breakfast (extra 10 euro per person) was ok, though non-sweet options were very few. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location if you want to travel around.

The room was a bit too hot. Since it was facing the main street, it was noisy with an open window. One more thing, which was common for many hotels we stayed in Spain, - there was no way to get hot water for tea in the evening. It would be nice to have some option at least in the cafeteria or near reception, if not in the room.

The hotel is modern, bright, and attractively decorated. Our room was large, bright and had a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The staff are excellent - they spent time with us advising on where to go and to eat in the wider region. Breakfast offered a good range of Spanish, English and Cantabrian food. Parking is in front of the hotel. It does get full sometimes, but there is public off-road parking quite near. Lierganes is a delightful small town in beautiful countryside yet only half an hour's drive from Santander and, hence, a convenient stopover for both ferry and planes as well as being an interesting place to visit in its own right.

Our bed was quite hot at night.

Location is great, close to all the sights of this gorgeous town. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good price for the two nights we stayed. Parking in front is a plus.

One could hear steps from the floor above and the room was warm so we needed to open the windows which was noisy from the street in front.

The hotel is immaculately clean and modern. The reception staff were just so friendly and helpful, booked me a taxi to the airport for Sunday morning. The breakfast is really good, more choice than I had expected and a lovely terrace room to sit and enjoy the sun whilst having breakfast. There is parking straight in front of the hotel, nice Pizzaria just down the road very reasonably priced, and Boulavard 8 great place to have a drink and watch the world go by. There is also an interesting market held on a Sunday. I would definatly stay there again. It was extremely hot whilst we were there, but fan provided

Nothing at the Hotel, local dogs a bit vocal during the night

Excellent value; hotel was spotless, modern and well appointed. Room was spacious, with a UK size spa bath. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Only slight negative was the low availability of parking. The location is idyllic; we would have stayed longer had we not been sailing from Santander the following day.

Difficulty in finding a parking space, although we did not arrive until after 8pm.

Breakfast buffet was excellent with good variety, fresh bread, good coffee. Good value for price. Location of hotel was good for visiting Lierganes and surrounding area. Parking right outside of hotel.

Great convenient location as an overnight stop off heading for Santander Port in the morning. Less than 30 minutes travel from the Ferry

Beds were a little soft for my liking and the bar appeared to be closed.

Comfortable room with great views. Very reasonably priced.Great location with a great restaurant over the road if you arrive early. 12 o'clock check out which is great if you have a late ferry. Definitely stay again.

Would have like tea/coffee facilities in the room

The decoration on the walls and textiles. Breakfast was well presented and delicious.

The parking was a difficult for a motorbike.
