The property is impressive, very professional and friendly staff. They take very good care of cleanliness and the bedding was nice and comfy and clean. I was impressed by the activities and spa in the location and great indoor pool for my kid in winter time. I would love and totally recommend the property to my friends and will definitely use Riu in my next holidays. It was my first experience with Riu hotels and resorts and was a great one. Totally recommendable, the dance and activities for kids are really good. I was provided space to keep my luggage after checkout as well, Spanish people are too sweet , and my travel adapter was not working so they have all facilities which a person needs in urgency. I was provided adaptor to charge phone and return it back by keeping a little deposit which was quite fair. Drinks were amazing and food was great. Every little thing there was quite impressive. They have a great app where you can see the activities going on at particular time in hotel area and can join so it was easy to know when you have to get down the room and go. The sunrise and sunset was amazing from the room, it was no need for me to go on any sunset tour in Malaga and no need to step out for flamingo show as both I was able to get within the premises. Overall a most wonderful and amazing experience @riuhotels #riulovers There is a designer outlet closely which was beautiful and very nice, Christmas lights in city were amazing, I went for 6:30 show where the 16 angels light and music show is there , Christmas lights at Calle Larios. They have that switch on show at 8:30 and 9:00 as well, Its worth the beauty of Malaga city.

Oh dear so noisy at night, people shouting, screaming and banging doors in the corridors and walkways, rooms have no soundproofing, seems there is no curfew we where kept awake by revellers every night up to 3am this is the 2nd time we’ve stayed same both times,

This hotel is amazing, exceptionally clean considering how busy the complex is. Yes, the bars are busy but you're never more than 1/2 minutes waiting to be served. The self service area for mineral/wine/beer/ taps and coffee machine where always clean and stocked up with glasses. The heated outdoor pool and indoor pool also really exceptional, especially the outdoor pool considering it was January, it was really easy to get into. The food was always freshly cooked, well presented and consistently being topped up during the buffet times

The pillows where slightly uncomfortable due to the shape, they where a very skinny rectangular shape, whereas I'm more used to a larger rectangular one. But that's just my preference, everyone is different

- location accross the street from the beach - friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - the pool areas - the bars and provided drinks - coffee/tea making facilities, kettle and fridge in the room - free safebox - bottled water provided for free in bars and restaurants - always found a place to park the car on the street/small parking a few meters from the hotel - comfy bed - cleanliness of hotel grounds

- the hotel is widely used by elderly/disabled people, so there were sooo many of them we sometimes felt like in a retirement home - the meals are just satysfiyng, nothing extra, it is somehow understandable as the hotel needs to cater for a big amount of people; not much variety of fresh fruits, there was even no fruits for the snack at the back side pool - did not find the way how not to pay for the Wifi, did not ask though, had enough data from my operator - cleanliness of the room was really basic- just made the bed and swept the floor, sometimes the trash was not taken out, sometimes the towels were not changed, the table on the balcony was not cleaned even once...

Location is wonderful. A few metres from Pepe Beach. We rented Beach huts for €6 pp for the full day. The hotel is clean, modern and has so many restaurants and bars to choose from. The food was amazing.

The hotel grounds are expensive. Expect to walk everywhere. You'll also need to advance book if you want to dine at one of the many themed restaurants. The evening entertainment shows were good but could be more varied and include more options for older children to participate, e.g. one night my 8-year old took part in karaoke, 2 nights later he was told he had to be over 16 and couldn't take part. He was utterly bored... The shower facilities need updating in the rooms. Ours made an awful drilling sound when turned on. My youngest has sensory difficulties and she was highly anxious about showering as a result.

For an all-inclusive hotel the food was of good quality and the selection was comprehensive. The fact that there were different pools in different areas of the hotel complex was also good because you could select the pool and the environment that worked for you.

I am highly critical of the sound level during the shows. I measured the volume for one of the shows and with 80-90 dB you should not really get too close especially not together with children (even though many parents did not seem to worry). What's more, even the sound at the mini disco was very loud (one of the evenings - not so much the other evening).

Second year to stay at this hotel ! Food and drinks excellent for all inclusive.. entertainment excellent All the staff from reception , entertainers , hospitality to cleaning staff were super professional and friendly always greeted with a smile 😊 Service from the bar and restaurants exceptional and always spotless clean at all times We love it here !

Absolutely nothing we didn’t like

Location was good. Room was comfortable and room outlay was perfect. Wardrobe space was great with plenty coat hangers. Liked no charge for safe usage. Reception staff were excellent and our welcome receptionist was lovely

Windows in our room had a broken fitting and shower door did not close properly. Food was not hot. Restaurant was open till 10pm but staff were not impressed with guests coming in after 9pm. Indoor swimming pool was closed until October. Entertainment was not good every night - elvis impersonator and Beatles night was great.

The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. The reception was friendly, we were able to leave our luggage before check-in and spend some time in the territory. The food was excellent and varied, when travelling with children there was no need to worry about where and when to eat. The room was incredibly large, even the shower area was 2x1m, so it felt like a dance floor. The pools were nice, towels were available, there was enough space, we didn't have to go to the pool early in the morning to park a sunbed (although many did). We were also lucky with the weather - it was a pleasant +26 degrees at the end of April, so it was really nice.

One of the minuses is the noise through the walls and ceilings. I don't know who was staying above us, but the huge noise every night, as if furniture was being moved around the room non-stop, was horrible. Unfortunately, our windows faced the street, with trash cans underneath, so the noise and clatter of emptying them added to the noise.

Perfect facilities and food. Location and service very good. Beach very close. Lot of activities during the day, nice shows in the evening. Bars are open the whole day. Everything you need for your holiday.

breakfast menu a bit dull... the lunch and dinner very good. Rooms with windows to the pool, especially close to the bars are too loud... we asked to change the room to the street, much better. The only thing what really disappointed us was during the evening show Anastasia Russian song with Moscow views... as Russia is now in the terrible war with Ukraine, so many people are suffering - this Russian part of the program should be taken away....
