Good hotel, with good facilities (yet rather old). Nice waterpark, however somewhat crammed. The breakfast is a complete delight - MANY options, and all really good. The service at the restaurant was also great - completely opposite to what we got at the front desk.

The checkin experience was a complete disaster, with attendants that were less-than-fluent in English to help us, and who showed below ZERO interest in assisting. Really disappointing. Other staff, later during our stay, were fine and usually at least polite. At the checkout, we again got the subpar experience - it seems that for some unexplicable reason the hotel management chooses to have the least prepared people at the front desk.

The pool is lovely with plenty of sun loungers to go round. The adults only rooftop area is brilliant with comfy loungers and a bar area. There are 2 small pools to dip in.. Staff ar the hotel were always smiling and happy to help. The food was perfect for what we wanted.

Some people eat whilst walking around the buffet and some vape around the pool area.

Food was excellent with plenty to choose from. Entertainment for the kids is good and the rooms are cleaned well by the maids everyday.

Outdoor pools arnt heated only the jazzusi sections. Indoor pool was a little crazy with no limits on numbers on colder days.

During our stay, the hotel staff's warmth and professionalism made us feel exceptionally welcome. The newly renovated lobby, restaurant, bar, and rooftop were beautifully designed, offering a delightful experience. The strategic location, just a short walk from the beach, trekking trails, and the old town, coupled with convenient access to the coach station, allowed for easy exploration. The hotel also provided free filtered cold water. The food is amazing with a great choices, so book your stay at least half board!!!

We are genuinely struggling to find any real negatives about our stay. It is safe to say that we are already planning our return, hopefully next year. In fact, our stay was so delightful that we are seriously considering the possibility of making this hotel our permanent residence. That's how much we loved it!

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel after 5 years. We were not disappointed the hotel had been completely renovated and had been done to a high standard. We paid extra to have a pool view and I would certainly recommend that rather than the street view. We booked the standard pool view, the room is a good size with a balcony, it had a double bed and single bed in the room and the bed was super comfy. The bathroom is a shower over the bath with all toiletries in the room. The room was extremely clean and cleaned everyday. The pool area is excellent something for everyone. There is a fantastic new adults only roof top bar and plunge pools area with a chill out vibe., Its been done to a very high standard with big comfy beds and the views over Tossa. We booked full board and the restaurant was again totally renovated to a very high standard. The food was fabulous lots of choice from hot to cold. The hot food was cooked freshly infront of you, honestly anyone who complains about the food is just difficult as there is so much choice. The hotel staff are amazing from every department always available to help or assist. The hotel is situated on the outskirts which we loved as it is about a 10 minute walk to the beach or the center with lots of local bars to pop in on the way down. Try Loop and the local bar next to hotel miami on the way down. Overall we love The Golden Bahia Hotel and we love Tossa De Mar its definitely up there with our favourites and we will be returning and would highly recommend this hotel everytime. I booked and paid for a room with one double and one single bed for two people, but was given a room with two single beds instead. The reception claimed they weren’t aware of the booking details, resulting in me overpaying by about 40%. Although they refunded €20 as a symbolic gesture after some discussion, the difference would have been much more substantial for a longer stay. Additionally, the room was on the ground floor facing the street, making it very noisy.

We absolutely liked our stay in Golden Bahía. Location is in very quiet living área but in 6 min walk you can reach the históric center. The hotel is all renovated and fresh, the staff is more than helpful and really motivated to make your stay as confortable as possible. The food is very good, they have own mini bakery and pizzeria to make bread and pizzas on site and variety of seafood and meat. Cleanliness of the room is at 10 with daily cleaning. The territory is very big with beautiful pools for all ages and mini football and basketball field, that kids were crazy about. Thank you for the wonderful stay!!!

Loved our stay here! Went as a family of four, with two kids under 10. Room had 2 double beds which was fine, and bathroom was a good size with a bath. We didn't pay for a pool view which I would recommend if people want to sit on their balcony with sunshine - we didn't get any full sun but were barely in the room so didn't care. We went half board, and they confirmed we could swap dinner for lunch if we wanted to - and also added lunch to our first full day as we ended up missing dinner on arrival. The food was brilliant. So varied, and a specific kids buffet which invariably had pizza (always with margherita as a choice), pasta (with choice of sauces, or could request plain) and then different things each night (burgers one night, chicken another etc). Separate veggie section. Dedicated starters, which were always outstanding and a section that made eggs how you wanted in the morning (omelette/ fried) and then had meat and fish in the evening. Desserts were varied and brilliant, and the self serve mr.whippy machine was a huge hit. Also lots of salad, baked goods, and fruit. Pools were great. two massive hot tubs that were often commandeered by kids and the deepest part of the pool was about 1.3m, id say. My 7yo was wasnt quite a head above. However, lots of shallower parts, and active lifeguards. Always lots of sunbeds and a no-reservation policy enforced until 10am. Kids clubs did the job but our kids more interested in the pool. The sports activities on the website are aimed at teenagers and above - my very active oldest wouldnt have been easily able to join in, based on the football session I saw. However, the football court is available for use any time by anyone outside of the times allocated for the activities.

The perfect hotel for a trip to Tossa. The facilities are as described and look exactly like the pictures. The restaurant was lovely with a wide variety of options for both breakfast and dessert and we definitely enjoyed looking forward to what new fish was on offer on the grill as well as dessert. The spa was also great and we had a massages booked which was lovely.

Nothing against the hotel but towards the end of our stay a very large group of older visitors arrived and the entire atmosphere at the hotel and restaurant became a bit chaotic. Also didn’t help that it felt like we were being judged by these people for every thing we did which was a little uncomfortable so ended up spending lots of time away from the hotel when we just really wanted to chill and enjoy the facilities.

This is by far the best hotel in Tossa de Mar - there is no competition when it comes to facilities and being family friendly. 1. The smell in the lobby and reception area is sooo nice. I should have asked them what perfume was that. 2. Amazing friendly and helpful staff especially Anca from breakfast. The staff was always smiling and quick to help and solve whatever issue I had. 3. The food choice was great as well with a few exceptions. 4.The prices for those who are not all inclusive were really affordable. 5. The location is great 5-8 minutes to the beach on foot. 6. The pool water and jacuzzi were great; warm and there was always enough space to play with kids or swim. Overall an amazing holiday I had with my daughter,
