Everything was fantastic. I had the best sleep ever- I left my window open all night and to hear the swimming pool below me was heaven. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast was amazing. Lots and’s lots of praise from me. I could say a lot more good things. It looks and has the feel of a top hotel.

Okay - I only say this to help Colon Tuy. Because they have a look and feel of a top hotel. Like all great empires and leaders and businesses that fail because they got to comfortable with themselves- I’m afraid this may happen to Colon Tuy. In the year 2025 plug sockets and WiFi security are very very important. 20 years ago they were not. The WiFi didn’t work and when I did detect it , it was extremely weak and not secure. You also need a few more plug sockets in the room. I wish I didn’t have to complain , but I’m a few years time they’ll be wondering where did it all go wrong . Start with great WiFi and sockets for more plugs . But a great hotel otherwise.

Alfredo at the reception desk was super helpful with arranging a luggage transfer for me and my Mom. I needed so much help with the transports website and he confidently and patiently helped me make sure everything was perfect. Shower was super hot which was much needed after the Camino.

Everything was good- breakfast was exceptional and a good way to start the Camino that day.

Breakfast was AMAZING, perfect to stock up before the Camino. The room had a gorgeous view, the bathroom was huge (no idea why but nice I guess?) and the bed was comfortable. I slept very well here and enjoyed myself.

The pool was closed and we weren't told this in advance, which was annoying, but we had plenty to enjoy exploring Tui. The hotel is in the new town which isn't as pretty as the old town, but it's not far really from some gorgeous spaces.

The location was good, near the cathedral and close enough to the Camino route. The room was basic but sufficient. There was a grocery store right down the street.

The hotel didn't pretend to be anything that it wasn't. It was an inexpensive hotel in the center of town. It lacked character but that is not always what is needed.

The hotel is localised close to the center , had a nice look from the window on cathedral of TUI and fortress and bridge. Breakfast was normal. The room and bathroom where clean.

The hotel neefs some renovation. There was no refregerator or some water heater for tea or coffee in the room or reception.

Convenient location near shops & restaurants. Room was spacious & clean and the breakfast was extra yummy - always love it when continental includes eggs + bacon!

I was really bummed that the pool wasn't open yet. I was walking the Camino and purposely picked some spots that had pools. It was early June so I thought it would be open :(

Excellent location. The hotel staff here facilitated us leaving bikes in the hotel which were to be collected by a courier company the next day. They also rang taxis for us when we needed them. Lovely to have a pool, and the area around it was well maintained.

Rooms are quite dated and we had some damp on the floor in ours. But nothing to ruin our stay and the rooms were great value.

The room smelled like mildew. Window was wide open when came to room and it was raining good and very windy. Room cold. Only one plug in bathroom to charge phone. None near bed. The other outlet near tv kept falling out. No heat control in room.

Breakfast choices included eggs, sliced honeydew melon and sliced watermelon, along with assortment of cereal. There was also bacon and sausages, but I like mine cooked more crisp than their chef!

Using this to compliment staff. Sergio, when we checked in, was very helpful and patient. The fellow in the morning helped us with our luggage transfer with which there had been some confusion ( our fault).

Bedrooms are clean, spacious and VERY basic. The property and lobby are contemporary and stylish… unlike their rooms!

No individual control of heat! Heat is controlled for individual rooms from the front desk…which we found out about when we sought blankets cuz our room was freezing .
