So far, on my 8th day on the Camino, this has been the best hotel! The room was beautifully decorated, very clean, and equipped with a fridge and a coffee machine. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by a lovely garden and featuring a large swimming pool. The on-site restaurant served the best pilgrim lunch we’ve had so far. Diogo reached out before our arrival to confirm the time and was extremely kind and welcoming when we met. Highly recommended!
The only downside for us was the location—it’s quite a bit before Valença, which made the following day’s walk to Porriño longer and more tiring than expected. Other than that, everything was great!

I had a wonderful stay at Quinta do Caminho, AL! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with charming surroundings and thoughtful details throughout. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location was perfect for a peaceful break or a pilgrim's rest. Highly recommended! 5*** restaurant on site with the best food and steaks you can imaging. People drive here for dinner and its busy!!! Lovely quiet pool and bar area. Right on the Camino path
Not enough coffee left in room and no milk product (small issue)

We needed a break on our piligrim journey. We had an amazing time in Quinta do Caminho. The location and the views take your breath away. It is tranquile and peaceful. The design is rural and reminded us of English cottages. We were welcomed by staff who were eager to help and make our stay as great as it could possibly be. They really went above and beyond in service. The rooms have a personal outside area just for you. Ours had a personal hammock chair that is great to sit in and enjoy the peaceful night with a glass of wine. The room walls are made from stone and keep the rooms cool during the hot summer days. For a colder night, the warmer blanket is provided. There is a swimming pool available that has a side with a depth of over 2m, amazing refreshing option on a sunny day. Hammocks and sun loungers are also available free of charge. There is an option to hire a jacuzzi on a cute patio by the pool, if you so desire. There is a wonderful restaurant on site. The best restaurant I have ever been to. It is used by the guests of the hotel, but seems to be extremely popular with the locals as well and at no surprise. The design is charming, the service is on a very high level, but the food... it is just magnificent! The duck and the gammon just melt in your mouth. The salads are fresh, the most beautiful dessert options, and great wine. We have stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and used the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The hotel grounds were massive and perfectly maintained. It was so beautiful and serene. The pool was big and there was a hot tub. Although it was closed for 3/4 of our stay which was disappointing. The rooms were nice and the place was quiet. I would highly recommend. It was also right ON the Camino so if you’re a hiker, you must stop here for a night!
It was a bit far from Valença (10 min drive by car). They did not have a restaurant on the Monday so if you were staying there, you had to drive to town to eat. Which does become costly. When the restaurant is open, it is DELICIOUS!

Perfect charming stay whether or not you are walking the Camino. Dinner was superb, service couldn't have been more friendly (in including Diogo offering me a book to look through on the wildlife I would see later in my trip). Breakfast was good, lovely natas. I didn't realize about the massage options in time to utilize them, but if you like a massage, take note. Just a lovely stay.
Despite growing up in suburbs and with a farmers daughter for a mother .... I didn't realize roosters crowed for hours on end. Ha! He wasn't too close and no one else in my trip was bothered so earplugs recommended only if you're a light sleeper.

Really good accommodation. Quiet, comfortable and scenic. I stayed here in two occasions in the same week. Liked it so much that went back :) I was in both the standard and the king suite and would definitely recommend to spend a little bit more money and get a better room. The room difference and comfort is abysmal and it will totally change your experience. The staff was overall quite nice and the restaurant provides a very good dining experience. Free and safe parking was also a plus.
Breakfast was mnhee (would not recommend). The standard room doesn't have great quality in the construction materials and the shower/toilet layout is not optimal. A mini fridge would be useful in the standard room too. The standard room overall feels a bit cramped up, especially compared when compared with the king suite. Place was overall clean but could improve a bit.

Perfect little oasis, gorgeous surroundings.Sara was very helpful with advice on what to do in the area and just great with our mix up with times in Portugal. Definitely worth the stay...relaxing and just a quick drive to Valenca!!! Can't wait to go back in the near future if possible.BTW the restaurant is well worth a lunch or dinner or both! Great cuisine...very friendly staff... Wonderful experience overall!!

The Quinta do Caminho is located on a gorgeous piece of land which belongs to our host and his family. It is lush and green with much open space. Our host Diogo was very attentive and apologetic about the lack of internet access he had been experiencing for a couple of days. In his beautiful light and airy restaurant, we ate like a king and a queen. We had wonderful bread and truffle butter, plump olives, wine, and croquette de bacalhão, which we absolutely loved, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Our well-appointed room has large windows opening onto the beautiful green property, giving us everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast, which was included, was a buffet filled with a variety of foods, including proteins and fruits. The croissant I had was the best I can ever remember tasting even in my travels to France. We hope very much to return to this paradise on our next Caminho walk.
Everything more than met our expectations so we have only positive opinions to share.

Where do we begin? This place was heavenly. The rooms were lovely and we had a beautiful view over the fields and the Camino trail. The pool was nice and refreshing after a long few days of walking. The restaurant was amazing with delicious food. The whole experience made us feel so relaxed but what really made it was the staff. Diogo was an absolute legend - he could not have been more helpful to us. He has to be the nicest man in Portugal - there was nothing that he would not help with. He organised, taxis, train tickets, a masseuse to come in to the accomodation and drinks for the pool. We cannot thank him enough for his hospitality. In addition, the two staff at the restaurant were so lovely and really amde us feel at home with their exceptional service. We will definitely be back!

We loved our room with a bath. It was fantastic and finished to a very high standard. Great views and lovely balcony. Very quiet and relaxing. The pool was an added bonus. Great location right on the Camino.
The only disappointing thing about our stay was the restaurant wasn't open for dinner and the bar shut at 7pm.
