This was a great respite during our walk on the Camino. We arrived prior to check-in time and our room was not yet available, but they let us use the pool anyway, which was fantastic. The room was very nice and very comfortable. With an on-site bar and restaurant for dinner, we didn’t need to go anywhere else.

Boega is a traditional Portuguese house. The gardens and suroundings are very green. The view to Rio Minho is astonishing! And the hospitality of all employees amazing. I will always come back!

Brilliant location, amazing staff, lovely breakfast, superb swimming pool.

Access was difficult as the satnav took us up some back roads. Someone has pointed me to a gate which was apparently around the back and we ended up a bit stuck which was stressful- so a couple of signs around the back entrance would be helpful. Staff was brilliant upon arrival though

Beautifully understated elegant hotel with great food, facilities and staff. Christina went above and beyond to help us with a problem with our motorbike! Best hotel we have stayed at on this trip around Spain and Portugal.

Gorgeous location, friendly staff at the desk. The rooms are big enough and well furnished. The place is isolated enough to be almost completely sound proof.

Not many options for breakfast, only 2 options for fruit (not particularly fresh either). Some of the personnel in charge of the breakfast wasn't particularly nice.

Lovely quaint, quiet hotel. We had a lovely room in main building on 1st floor (no lift), the en suite was tiny. The view from our balcony was fantastic.. The young lady on reception was very helpful and social. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant, not fancy but good home cooking. Plenty of free parking.

Wonderful historical mannor house located on a beautiful hill overlooking the river Minho. The rooms are located on a modern alley and they are very well equiped.

Hotel Boega is a beautiful property superbly located in the rolling hills of Portugal

It does not offer a restaurant. It has a pool bar, which is excellent and run by a wonderful lady who greeted us with a big smile offering to cook for us anything we wanted!
