Great location with a lot space outdoors to explore. We stayed in the wooden little houses in the "new area" just next to the spa. They have a lot if privacy and are brand new. Breakfast had a variety of home made things and one can also get snacks and drinks during the day. Staff is extremely nice, speaks fluently portuguese/english and is very hard working. They accomodate you with anything you want while giving you privacy and space. Perfect place to relax and just a 5min drive to the village. Very clean and well designed rooms, lot if space to park.

This was one of the best places we ever stayed. The rooms were spacious and the grounds were exceptional. The food was first class. The place was not crowded and felt like a very exclusive club with unbelievable pampering. The dinners by hotel staff were exceptional. The nearby town is small and the best thing was to hang out on the property with its swimming pool, spa and grounds. There were cobblestones of various kinds and all different hardscapes, plants and small benches and other picturesque structures. Very relaxing for a needed reboot.

We were given a lovely large room on the ground floor with access to a private seating area outside. Although we didn't use the spa it looked very inviting! The spacious gardens are terraced & full of interesting plants & nice to walk around. Unfortunately the weather was poor during our visit so we couldn't use the pool. We enjoyed the breakfast on offer & the staff were very obliging. All in all a lovely visit!

We had the pleasure of staying in the "Deluxe Bungalow," which boasted a spacious 55m2 area, and we found that it lived up to its description perfectly. The serene ambiance and comfortable amenities made our stay truly enjoyable. The staff's exceptional service left a lasting impression on us. They were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our stay. Moreover, the breakfast provided was outstanding. Without a doubt, we have already started planning our return visit to this wonderful place. Thank you for providing us with such a memorable and delightful experience during our stay.

Beautiful property with amazing dinner service, breakfast and spa services. I wish I had arrived earlier so I could have spent more time in the jacuzzi pool and steam room.

It is about a mile past the Camino route (Coastal and Littoral) but well worth the taxi ride we took to get there after a 17 mile day.

Ilya, Carla and Lilly and all the others were wonderful and welcoming hosts! Muito obrigada! The property and the garden with it’s beautiful trees and flowers were really romantic. Also, we really enjoyed the spa area, especially during the heat outside.

Really nice location, beautiful garden with oranges, lemons etc. The in house dinners and breakfasts were really, really good. The cook really knew the food very well. Also, we didn't finish our wine bottle, so without asking she placed the bottle under vacuum and the second evening she brought out that bottle without asking, saving us 25 Euro

In the swimming pool was a 'steam cabin' that wasn't working.

Wonderful location. Tucked away in an older area of the village. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Luxury towels for the pool. Breakfast was very good. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with great recommendations.

Dinner when we arrived was good but not outstanding

Best hotel experience we ever had. Wife and I booked the hotel shortly before going to a music festival, and this was the closest we could find at short notice (15 minutes away by taxi). We did not spend much time actually researching the hotel, since most we try are pretty much the same. This is not your typical hotel. This feels like a staff that spends all day on just you, and the luxury of this is absolutely unreal. They will bend over backwards to fulfill your every need! The breakfast and dinner is all homemade by the sweetest chef, who even prepare cakes and cookies for your enjoyment during the day. Water and coffee is available all day, and since you have to book your time at the spa, you and your significant other can enjoy it in total privacy. The rooms are large, nice and offers everything you need and some you did not even know you needed. To top it off the owner distills his own spirits, which you are welcome to enjoy in one of the many little nooks in the garden free of charge.

The hotel is a little secluded, so we recommend having a car, as it's a long uncomfortable walk to anywhere. This also means, however, that it is completely quiet at all times, which is really nice!

Amazing property with lovely views. There is a spa (we had fantastic massages and used the water treatment area). The staff is incredible and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Breakfast was lovely.
