Comfortable, clean, and cozy room. Very nice staff and nice attention by putting 2 bottles of water in the room. On the camino. Avoid on Friday or Saturday, disco nearby.

The bar/coffee of the hotel was right under my room, so I couldn't open the windows after 8pm without having cigarette smoke coming in. Unfortunatly, I stayed there on a Saturday and there's a disco near by so I heard the music until 6h30am. Thank God for earplugs 😅.

The location was great. It was walking distance to everywhere we needed to go! The staff was helpful and informative. The room was comfortable and clean. We didn't get to eat their breakfast, because we were leaving too early to walk the Camino de Santiago, so I can't comment on that.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. It was a very pleasant stay at a centrally-located hotel.

Location was excellent - around the corner from 2 supermarkets and many bars. It Rooms were large. Right on the camino. We stayed 2 nights and had a rest day and this was the perfect place to do it. Had a bath. Byo plug.

Staff were a bit gruff but I guess they have their way of doing things.

The hotel was pleasant and thankfully had an elevator especially as my room was on the third floor and I was very tired after a long Camino walk that day. The location was the key positive as it was only a short way to the fishing port with its excellent selection of restaurants. Breakfast was simple and served promptly. A good stay !

Right off camino, twin beds meant I got two pillows - a camino luxury. Good shower with pressure. Quiet and large window/skylight. Comfy sheets

Poor charging at the outlets and not a single outlet by either bed. Sullen staff but this seems to be usual in Spanish hotels and pensiones? Hard mattresses. It would be nice if people would smile and be kind.

We stayed here for 1 night on our Camino - with a twin room and a triple room - for 5 people. Rooms were spacious and the Camino route started again right outside the hotel. There was breakfast supplied of pastry (delicious!) and coffee and orange juice.

A good option for private accommodation if you are walking the Camino. The room and public areas were clean and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was no problem with noise at night although our room was not facing the street. We considered it good value for money especially as breakfast was included.

The owner was incredible to attend to us and make our check in smooth and easy. The room was perfect for our stay during the Camino. The next day, breakfast was great and check out was very easy. They allowed our bag-transfer company to drop off and pick up with ease. We would stay here again if we visit A Guarda again. P.S. when we arrived the front desk was closed. If this happens to you fear not! Just message the property and the owner will arrive very quickly!

I booked a larger room and indicated it was for one adult, but when I arrived as a single my room was changed for a smaller one. Puzzling.

Great location. Room was good value for price ( not outstanding, but clean and good). Breakfast at hotel was simple but good value. Very helpful at front desk. Good value for Camino travelers.
