It is a beautiful hotel located in the western end of the Ribera del Duero DOP. This was our second stay and a lot of the value comes from the property itself. A nice spa, beautiful and spacious rooms, and one of the most generous breakfasts I have witnessed.

Since our last stay two years ago we have unfortunately noticed that some of the staff seem very stressed by the workload and some seem indifferent about their work or the guests. You receive dismissive and at times arrogant responses to simple requests like calling a taxi. This was very surprising to us as the last stay we stayed here longer and did not encounter this once. These situations, unfortunately, made us not feel very welcome. It‘s very important to note that the majority of the staff was still very hospitable and kind!

Amazing building Very friendly staff Nice outdoor pool and several restaurants in the hotel with good food. We very much liked the outdoor terrace of the bar. Location close to the bodegas in the area. Easy to park the car. Nice room with good bed and shower. We really loved our stay, and would recommend it, but would rather say it is a very good 4* than a 5* hotel.

Airconditioning in the room did not work. Upon arrival, we were offered another room than originally assigned, because they had doubts the airco wasn’t working, but it was the same in the other room. This is difficult to understand in a 5* hotel of this pricing category.

Exceptional service from all members of staff. Welcome drink and complimentary drinks in the mini bar provided. Huge room and bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Massive comfortable bed and choice of pillows. I’ve had the best sleep I had in ages here. Lovely pool and spa area. We loved the tour of the property’s farm, which supplies most of the fresh ingredients served at their restaurants. Best buffet breakfast ever, which includes freshly made hot dishes (eggs Benedict, omelettes, sweet and savoury crepes, etc.) + the biggest array of local cheeses and cured meats, sourdough bread, locally made yogurt, fresh fruits, etc. - outstanding. We had the tasting menu at Converso and would 100% recommend. Outstanding service and food and great value for the price. They have other activities you can book like wine tasting and winery tours. We wished we had stayed longer.

Our lunch at the Gastrobar was a bit disappointing. The kitchen made a couple of mistakes (which can happen, it was just unlucky they had issues with both our mains). The annoying thing is that this only got acknowledged after we pointed it out. They did remove one of the mains from our final bill though. This is my personal taste but I wasn’t super keen on some of the decor. Too much grey for my taste, I would have preferred more organic colours for the flooring/curtains. The decor felt a bit too minimal/“millennial grey” and felt like it didn’t fully go with the monastery.

This is the 3rd time we stayed at the property and its simply wonderful. The rooms are a great size and the beds are comfortable. The spa is very good and enjoyed it, We had dinner at the restaurant it was delicious. Breakfast is amazing with a huge spread of all kinds of ham, cheese, salads, fruits. mimosas etc. and they also offer an a la carte menu and the breakfast is included in the rate as well as parking, This is a beautiful property that I recommend highly if you go to the Riviera del Duero wine region.

Beautiful and spotless. The staff consistently exceeds expectations, going above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The wine tasting was amazing—the sommelier was extremely knowledgeable. Restaurante Monasterio was excellent. The room was spacious, and they even offer a pillow menu. Their spa products are top-notch.

A stunning property from the 12th century, impeccably preserved. All the infrastructure is in excellent condition, and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional

On the downside, the à la carte restaurant does not meet the standards one would expect from a hotel of this caliber—limited options and not truly gourmet. Breakfast was also below expectations; for instance, the jamón was of surprisingly poor quality, which is quite unexpected in Spain

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Staff was great. Spa was perfect and monastery is gorgeous. The room was confortable with a bathtube and a large shower. It is was absolutely quiet at night and very dark so we could sleep in. The sidewalk by the river and the vineyard is smooth and nice. The bistro "gastrobar" is the best option

The proper restaurant was not as nice as we imagined but the other bistrot option was great for what we needed.

The pool area, the rooms, and the property is beautiful

My room was very hot and I was told the entire property was controlled centrally (they do not turned on this time of the year). The restaurant could have more variety of choices. The Pool area does not have a jacuzzi that the water temperature would go higher than 26C. Also it was disappointing that sauna was not open all the time and had an additional charges.

The best experience and highlight in this trip. Excellent room, and we went to spa pool everyday for more than half an hour (I can stay longer if I have time), excellent breakfast, bellboy is helpful and responsive when we need our car (they parked for us). Next time I will stay for a week.

Reception staff on our arrival had some knowledge about what wineries to visit, but not all reception staff do (I know I should do my research). Nothing else.

Everything about this hotel was remarkable, staff, room, thermal pool, restaurants, breakfast, etc. We had a memorable and relaxing stay! Couldn't imagine this resting place in such a historical monument.

The only disappointing factor was the relaxing massage my wife took. It was shorter than stated and not even close to what she experienced before.
