This is a lovely hotel clean tidy and the rooms are fantastic, the best hotel overall that we have stayed in in the EU. The prices are good too and they welcome well behaved dogs. This wasnt our first visit we have been numerous times. It is situated a couple of hours from Santander and the ferry ports 1 minute off the main road. There is ample free parking that feels safe too.

Visitors have to be aware that there is no bar area or facilites for meals here, except breakfast this is provided down the road a very short distance away some might find it a pain but its not really and easily within walking distance or 1 minute in the car as in a truthful 1 minute. The staff dont always speak English but are friendly and this is inner Spain so with a bit of effort its easy, or show them your booking reference passports and all done anyway. These are NOT negatives just facts some might find off putting, we dont.

This is a super convenient and comfortable stopover hotel. Our 3rd or 4th stay. Very close to the main arterial motorway and has all the faciloties needed. Its dog friendly with ample outside parking ( we travel with a roof box and no problem0. We have had breakfast here in the past but this time we got a decent breakfast elsewhere en route

Its a pity the restaurant on site doesn't do food as the only option within walking is to a local truckstop - its decent and good value, but you cannot take the dogs inside to the aircon eating area. Outside was like an over!

Stayed here on way down from Calais to The Algarve, and because we had a dog the hotel came back with great reviews. The Hotel was just off the main highway and set back on a spur road. easy to find and spotlessly clean inside and out. The room was really big with plenty of room to move around, and room for our dog who is large at 45kgs (only 10 euros extra). Beds were very comfortable and pillows were great. The shower was excellent, and just have to ask for a hairdryer etc from the reception if required in advance. Girls in reception were very pleasant on both check in and out. Breakfast was only extra £10 euros for 2, it was limited but very good value considering the price! Looking to stay here on our return journey home.

No evening meal at the hotel, but a cafe/restaurant that they also run 200mtrs down the road. its open 24hours as a cafe, but only until 4pm or after 8pm as a restaurant. Too late for us to eat at restaurant as up early in the morning so got something to eat from the cafe, although very good and reasonably priced. Not enough plug sockets in room as only 2 in the main room that I could find.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The man on reception even came over to the breakfast area to help me translate the breakfast options into English. Dare I say it, but the breakfast croissant was better than the one I had in France! Really comfortable and clean room. Our dogs were welcome. Plenty of parking right out the front of the hotel.

The only other place in walking distance was a restaurant/canteen - no supermarket or other restaurants to choose from. However, I knew that when I booked and I wanted somewhere very convenient that would just get me back on the road quickly the next day, so it was no problem. From all the trucks and cars parked outside the restaurant, I guess the food was pretty good there.

Superb room. Pet friendly. Straight forward well presented breakfast. Very fresh modern decor.

Just be aware that evening meals are served at their associated truck stop 200m down the road. This place is amazing. The people there are great. 3 course fixed price menu. The food is quickly served by incredible hard worked staff, very straight forward good quality with enormous portions. Good value. No need to dress up! A great experience we will talk about for a long time, an experience to be enjoyed, but not for the feint hearted.

I loved the young lady that served us, she was wonderful, helpful and full of joy. The lady in the morning was also lovely. We went to the local restaurant down the road, which apparently is owned by the same family and we got two lovely sandwhiches to go. We especially loved the dog friendly astmosphere and we would stay here again on our next trip. If you are travelling from UK to Spain or portugal, then you need to stay here.

A very good location for a stop off on the way to Santander Ferry. They also allowed my dog in the room and she was very happy and there was a little bit of a running area for her outside. Breakfast was nice. The receptionist was lovely and helpful and so where the girls who served the breakfast . We had a car and a trailer and there was plenty of room to park.

Could not eat dinner at the Hotel but they did have a restaurant just up the road which we could take our dog to as well. We were allowed to sit with the dog in the covered outside heated area so that was nice. Lovely big roaring fire. No hair drier in the bedroom but I am sure if we had asked at reception they probably could of suppled one.

Even from the outside, the hotel was smart and welcoming. Inside was no different. Great staff, excellent rooms and everything was spotlessly clean and modern. Being located just off the main road was a great bonus. Overall the price at less than €100 for two adults, two small dogs including breakfast was fantastic value for money.

Only one niggle, our request for a room on the back of the hotel to avoid road noise was ignored.

Ok location. Breakfast was good, tasty local pastry, fruit and good coffee.

On booking .com it said there was a restaurant on site which was a must have for this stay. The restaurant had been closed since the COVID outbreak. The lovely receptionist said there was a 'cafe' a few metres along the road so we went and it was basically a truck stop! Not what we had been expecting.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly.

Had breakfast on a previous visit and because it was brought in it was very limited in choice. May help to have a menu displayed that you could pre order from. We had a double room but there is only one chair to sit on 2 would be better than having to sit on the end of the bed.
