Deep who was at the front desk and greeted us with Cookies and coffee or tea which was provide by the house! A finer gentlemen courteous kind and helpful throughout our stay! Have never had anyone in all my years of travel represent the brand as did Deep! The breakfast was excellent the young lady who was on in the morning was also very helpful and made sure we were well provided for at the buffet breakfast all in all our stay was perfect from beginning to end.

The only thing was the dispenser toiletries were empty when taking a shower!

It was historic but didn’t feel Old. The property as a whole was very clean and felt homey. Also the included breakfast was one of the best we had when comparing to other self serve breakfasts at other hotels. The staff was friendly and could tell they cared about their particular responsibilities. We were able to walk into the main part of South ave no problem. Wasn’t close to everything but definitely walkable for us.

Only thing I could think of was the outlet in our bathroom was installed backwards & too close to the mirror. This made it difficult to plug in the hairdryer. (Room 356)

An older but very well-kept facility. The staff were very accommodating and professional. The rooms were roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was average fare but first class. The coffee was exceptionally good as it was from a machine. My wife like the Decaf and that is no small thing.

It really was not a question of dislike. The hotel seems as though it has arrived at the time for a refit and remodel. But it must be emphasized that everything there was in excellent order, very clean, and by no means "worn out". The owner clearly takes pride and loving care with the hotel and I would absolutely recommend it. The colonial/early American motif is very welcoming and I loved it. Perhaps all that could be retained in a remodel at some point.

A bit pricy, compared to similar properties along our road trip elsewhere, but a good value for this expensive area.

Great location, easy to walk into Morristown & some lovely parks nearby. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the Inn was cosy and felt safe. Coffee and fresh baked cookies in the lobby each afternoon was such a lovely touch!

Air con/ heater was quite noisy if left on at night. Thankfully I didn’t need it but it was the only downside as I really liked this hotel!

you have to ask to get the room cleaned otherwise no one will clean the room. breakfast with no fresh muffjn in plastic bag. bacon dry and over cooked. 2 only choices of tea. low light in the room

A real find for a road trip overnight hotel. Very comfortable, nicely furnished, delightful front desk staff, very convenient location both to highway and downtown Morristown, with its many restaurants. Really, really top notch complimentary breakfast.

We liked everything. It was a tad pricey, but not really considering the quality of the inn and its location not far from New York City.

When we pulled up we expected an older hotel inside but were pleasantly surprised buy how nice our room looked. Beds were comfy, no visible bed bugs, and the room was clean. We all loved the heat lamp in the bathroom, especially after a long day on the road. The staff was super helpful and kind. They were nice to our pups and it was quiet. Parking was great, town is cute, and easily accessible to NYC. We would come back.

The breakfast was alright, my kids called it "not terrible", but we didn't mind since it was the only complaint they had.

Our late arrival and check-in went smoothy. The front desk staff gentleman was friendly. Breakfast was very good with a variety of choices.

The internet access was confusing but the front desk explained the process and we had no issues after that. Housekeeping on Saturday had not shown up by late Saturday afternoon and we were heading out so we put out the do not disturb sign and opted out of housekeeping services that night. Our room had a musty smell in the bathroom so we opened the window which helped. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable.

Love the convenience of the location, nice and quiet for sleeping, close to the town/restaurants.MPAC and nice shops. Very comfy furniture and the bed was wonderful. The breakfast was a welcomed surprise!!

There is nothing at all that we did not like. Maybe putting 1 or 2 water bottles in the refrigerator would be a nice idea. Also maybe a small amount of items for sale would be good.
