Really enjoyed the fact there was a restaurant downstairs and the staff there were excellent too. Room was quiet despite being on the main road in an active part of town with a lot of nightlife. Overall a great stay and would more than happy to go back - great bars all around for that nightcap.

People should know that it is in a busy part of town and it could be compared to Londons Soho but provided you are comfortable with that then I would still very much recommend it.

The location is great. A few streets away from the gorgeous streets of Montmartre. Except this hotel is located on the sex street of Pigalle so be warned. We found it harmless. It’s great location to 3 metro stops. Blanche, Pigalle and Clichy. Also, a 9 min walk from our bakery Pain Pain. The most delicious baguettes and desserts. The staff were also amazing. Maria, Louis and Andrew. All wonderful, friendly and professional. They helped us with our room and other requests. View was perfect. We are so grateful and the hotel is very lucky to have such wonderful staff! I hope they get recognised for their wonderful customer service! Our room was cleaned daily and maid staff did a great job. Shower power js also great once you figure out how to run it on. Overall, we would stay again due to the staff.

The pillows were so uncomfortable for us. They were too thick! We even asked staff overnight to change for us as we couldn’t sleep on them and he gave us the exact same pillows. It broke my neck and even after a few nights after returning home now my neck is still sore. They should offer thinner pillows for a 4 star hotel. We would bring our own pillows next time. Also. Air con didn’t really work in our room.

The size of the room was exceptional! Loved the bathroom facilities, very clean and modern. The view from our room was amazing. We were on the end with a little balcony and the view of bd de Clichy was great. I was worried about the noise from the street and the lights, however the blackout curtains worked well and with the windows closed, there was no noise. The restaurant downstairs is a MUST, staff were wonderful - the pornstar margarita is a showstopper! Be aware that you are in the red-light district, with many clubs and s*x shops; however, if you want a vibrant nightlife and easy walking distance to the Montemarte art market and Sacre Coeur, Le Chat Noir is the perfect spot.

Smell in lobby, I know it is difficult with the street, however did smell a bit musty.

Location was great for metro lines and for Montmartre sights and eating. Great manageable walks into St George area and down to Opera/Galleries Lafayette. Superior bedroom (303) had plenty of space in room, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Big window doors to open out onto a small balcony overlooking Boulevard de Clichy.

A couple of nights were noisier than others so would recommend ear plugs. Felt more like a guest house than hotel. Small entrance hall then lift to your floor without ever seeing a reception or person. Didn’t bother us as travelling as a couple but if a lone traveler it wouldn’t be the most sociable place to stay.

Le Chat Noir Made our stay on Montmatre enjoyable. It was quite and convenient and very modern. The staff was friendly, though we did not need them.

Excellent location, close to two metro stops and at the foot of the Montmarte area. The room we got was clean and fresh and, for Paris, very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a nice view of the Boulevard de Clichy and also a full view of the Eiffel Tower, which was a pleasant surprise.

While a full sized bath was a very welcome feature, a shower curtain or splash screen would help keep the floor drier. There can be some noise from outside as this is a very lively area, but this is to be expected and it wasn't a problem for us.

The place is a legend - it was great to be in the heart of it. Very historic, great access, a variety of bars and lovely brunch places in easy walking distance.

It's... surrounded by sex shops. And shows. We didn't know about the area and in retrospect we're not surprised. Maybe a prudish British attitude, but something saying 'there's a pay by the hour two doors down, four sex shops within 100m and strip clubs' might be useful for someone booking a family stay. However, had we educated ourselves, we would have known more.

The location in general was fantastic to access Paris but I didn’t realise it was essentially a red light district before booking. That said we had no issues other than some rowdiness heard during the night and early morning over the weekend.

Aside from a picture falling off the wall and smashing glass all over the floor when we first arrived and entered our room (which was cleaned up promptly but hotel staff), I have nothing negative to say about our room. Our room was very comfortable and clean and everything worked as it should.

The room was very clean and of a good size, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was powerful with constant hot water. The location was excellent with the hotel being close to cafes, bars, restaurants and shops of a wide variety! The Blanche metro station, the Moulin Rouge and the Sacre Coeur are all within walking distance. It's also possible to catch a city sightseeing bus and the Petit Train tour of Montmartre nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The television remote control was very frustrating to use.

The triple room was larger than expected. Breakfast included a good selection and the dining room was never over crowded.

The location for reasons of getting around the city was great BUT while the hotel and staff were very family friendly, if you have a child who is prone to asking a lot of questions be prepared to have some explainations for all the "Sexy Lady" establishments nearby. :)
