Usually I don't write the reviews, but just had to make an exception this time :). I stayed in the hotel with my son and wife in Aug '23, in a triple room on 1st floor. We all easily agreed that this has been our best city break experience so far. Everything related to this hotel simply exceeded out expectations, The location is just excellent, right in the middle of Boulevard de Clichy, just across The Moulin Rouge and metro station. Before the trip we had our doubts related to staying at Paris red light district, but we quickly figured out that we were wrong. All the time during our stay we felt very safe, even during the evenings and nights. Sure, there are some sex shops and strip bars, but you should just treat them as part of the history of this place. The boulevard and neighboring streets are crowded with bars and restaurants which are full of tourists and young people having fun, but we couldn't here any of the noise in our room. The room was not spacious but also definitely not cramped, and it had everything that you may wish for. It had three large, single beds which were very comfortable, and was equipped with huge smart TV, fridge, safe, coffee maker, excellent Wi-Fi, and even a wireless phone charger. Bathroom was comfortable and clean, with a shower and hair dryer. The room and the whole hotel were very clean and tidy, bed sheets being changed daily. Initially, we didn't plan to have breakfast at the hotel, but we decided to try it out on the first morning and were pleasantly surprised, so we decided to keep having it for the rest of our stay. I won't go into much details, but just say that it was delicious, probably the best option that you can find around. Finally, I have to mention the hotel staff which were all very pleasant and eager to help us in any way they could (they didn't hesitate to speak English with us, which is sadly not always the case in France). Overall, the hotel is simply 10/10.
The hotel elevator is probably the smallest one that you will ever encounter in your life. It literally has enough space just for one person and a suitcase :). This didn't really bother us since we were on the 1st floor, but I assume that it could be a problem if you are staying in one of the top floors (3rd or higher).

I loved the location of the hotel. I appreciated the staff’s help with answering questions in english when my french wasn’t great. I stayed in the smallest room, incredibly budget friendly for my last min trip. I liked that there was an outdoor courtyard in the middle of the building so you could have privacy and outdoor time. The sheets and pillows were really nice. The yellow paint colour was a nice touch and brightened the space. I appreciated checking in a bit early as my room was ready and thank you for storing my suitcase. I would stay here again.
Bring Earplugs. I wish I had known I was going to be on the ground floor at the back of the building. I could hear all of the partiers outside on the street all night. I heard my neighbours in 201 have an argument for a few hours. Every time a guest opened the door to the staircase, it sounded like someone was opening the door to my room. As a solo traveller, it made me uncomfortable. Handing over the key as you leave feels a bit unsettling as a solo traveller as well, but I understand that’s how you do it in old school hotels. I hope you can update your locking system. This is an old hotel with a surface level facelift. I believe I paid £250 for three nights which was a great deal so I’m satisfied for the cost//expectation value.

Great people at the reception; they were very warm and they were happy to help in anything. The hotel has a great location because it's not in the middle of Montmartre with lots of movement and tourists but it's close to everything in the area since it's in front of the Molin Rouge. The area felt safe. In the bedroom we had free coffee.
At the time I'm writing this, there were some constructions near Molin Rouge, that we could hear in the morning. This is outside of the hotel's control. During the night we didn't hear any other noise outside of the hotel.

The hotel location is excellent: easy access to public transport, supermarkets, restaurants and shops. The hotel room was very clean and although basic, it did have a Nespresso machine, which I liked very much. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good, but keep in mind that it is a continental type of breakfast.
My only dislike is the thin walls. If you are a bad sleeper, you might want to pack ear plugs. The hotel was not noisy during the night, but my room was ground level and facing the street and it was noisy at times due to traffic and people.

The staff were incredibly kind & hospitable… both Mohamed & Baptiste were exceptional front desk employees. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip of budget friendly hotels. The beds honestly the most comfortable of our 2 weeks in France. Our room was quiet, reasonably appointed with a bit of space & bathroom had an older style- tub/shower, nice if u wanted to soak- tricky if u had mobility issues… would 100% stay here again….we walked up to montmartre sacré coeur- lots of restaurants, across tte street from moulin rouge…. So much history!!!& great places to eat.
Arriving late, ~midnight the vibe on the street is a bit sketchy…. Of course this is the moulin rouge/ sex shop - exploits, area- so if u can avoid late night wanderings it would be wise to do so.

Location is fairly close to all major sightseeing areas, if you do not mind a walk of +- 2-3 km. Hotel was close to Moulin Rouge, which was great if you do wish to see any shows there, and also have a lot of restaurants and coffee shops close by, as well as souvenir shops and supermarkets. Friendly staff. Perfect if you staying for 1-3 nights
It can be noisy, the streets are filled with many people and taxis, which if you prefer an early night, might not be best. It is literally a room with bathroom, so if you are looking for bigger spaces, would not recommend. It was also quite warm, I tried switching off the heater, but when I got back after exploring, the room was really warm again.

We were lucky enough to be given a room upgrade. This was great. The room was big enough for us. The location was great, almost directly across from the Moulin Rouge, which was the main reason we booked there. Within a short walk of the hotel are many restaurants and bars and if you're keen to walk up the hill, Sacre Coeur isnt too far away. The staff were lovely as well.
The rooms are ok, a bit dated but look like they have been repainted. The biggest thing we didnt like, was there wasn't an air conditioner. It was quite hot when we stayed so trying to keep the room cool was difficult. Also, the bed was way too soft for me. But, all in all, we were satisfied with our room and the staff were lovely.

I would like to express my gratitude to the service of this hotel. The friendly receptionist was ready to help 24/7. I was with the child for 5 days and we are happy. An attentive administrator gave my child educational games. I would like to note the following advantages: Rooms are cleaned every day, delicious and healthy breakfasts, coffee and pastries are freely available at any time. The weather was cool and we could turn on the heater in our room according to our comfort preference. This is important because in April the central heating in most hotels is already turned off. Everything worked well in the bathroom, plenty of clean towels. There is a small elevator to lift heavy suitcases into the room. I know these are basic things, but I have often encountered similar inconveniences in other hotels. Our apartment also had the opportunity to go out onto a small balcony. It was a real Parisian location for a photo shoot. A very beautiful view of a street in the center of Paris. Very close location to several metro stations. There are many places to eat in the area within walking distance. Here is my honest review of this nice place.
The only negative point that needs to be taken into account is that the windows are authentic, not metal-plastic, so the noise level from the street is quite high. The child and I were not very sensitive to this, since we walked a lot, got tired and quickly fell asleep.

Great location vis-a-vis Moulin Rouge between 2 different metro stations. 3 or 4 different bus numbers nearby. You can communicate easilly whole city. Safe at night. Very friendly and helpfull stuff. Breakfasts are good.
I liked everything. Maybe apart of the smell in the elevator :) It's noisy in the morning due to garbage trucks so it may bother some people.

The location of this hotel is perfect. It is straight across the road from Moulin Rouge. The bus and Metro have stops across the road also. 30 minutes into the Effiel tower, Lourve, etc. Monmarte and the Sacre-Coeur are a 10 minute walk away where you will find loads of restaurants, bars, and cafes The rooms were just what we needed. A comfortable bed and shower/bath. They are not a bad size, enough room for 2 people and cases. There is a coffee machine in the hotel breakfast area, with all drinks from the machine free for guests, free bottled water is provided too. The staff were great, and Mohamed was especially helpful. We will be staying again at this hotel next time we visit Paris
