Royal Saint Germain's 6th Arrondissement location is really safe and offers excellent transport connections. The Montparnasse Metro entrance is just around the corner, making it easy to access key Paris areas. This entrance is on the same line as Gare du Nord - excellent news if you're travelling by Eurostar. Don't neglect the hotel's immediate area, though - a walk towards the stunning Luxembourg Garden passes excellent independent shops, cafes and restaurants. To leave Zone 1 - like we did, to Versailles - take the N train from Montparnasse's SNCF station - a 10-minute walk down the road - to Versailles-Chantiers. Versailles Château Rive Gauche on the RER line is closer to the Palace (this runs from another station), but Chantiers gives you a true feel for the town as you walk to the main attraction. Try Le Bouef a la Mode in Versailles for beautiful bistro steak, wine & dessert. If you prefer buses, The hotel has a stop right outside. You can pay contactlessly for buses and Zone 1 train and Metro services with a Navigo Easy card - available from machines at all rail stations - and you can top it up with the Bonjour RATP app on your phone. Our Twin Room (601) was small and had no great view, but we did almost 100,000 steps during our time in Paris so literally used it to sleep and freshen up. It was perfect for this. The hotel's breakfast spread on the first floor, served until 10.30am, is the perfect wake-up call. There's something for everyone with meats, cheeses, pastries, juices, scrambled eggs, (amazing) bacon, European sausage and lots of fruit to choose from. There's also a delicious and fast coffee machine. The setting itself is lovely, with comfy seating, natural light and a view of Rue de Rennes. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Royal St Germain and its excellent staff.

The Twin Room (601) is a little small and seemed to have a jammed bathroom window.

The hotel is nice, the staff also. I appreciate the fact that the room is cleaned only on request. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom and the room spacious enough. The breakfast was sufficient, the breakfast room very pleasant. The location of the hotel is really good, metro and bus station are close.

When it comes to deep cleaning, it is absent. For example, the inside of the toilet, with the water, is not cleaned for a long time. One day the breakfast was not ready enough, many things were missing, including bread, and no one was there, it looked like they had forgotten about it.

The cozy hotel has nicely furnished small (but not too small :) rooms with comfortable beds. We appreciated that there was a kettle in the room, the complimentary bottle of water was also a nice touch. Breakfast exceeded my expectations - even scrambled eggs and bacon were available, not to mention croissants, pastries, ham and cheese, etc.

The only downside was the feeling that the administrators don't really like the guests... No smile, very reserved.

Location was excellent and the breakfast was nice. Bed was extremely comfortable!

Great location .comfy bed. Air conditioning super. Nice staff. Very convenient next to restaurants,shops and metro/buses.

One instant coffee two teas and two saches of sugar for 2 People for 3 days not very acceptable as advertised that tea and coffee included in room. Could benefit with small toothpaste and toothbrush arrived on sunday a lot shops nearby closed had to walk alot to find some. Bathroom not very clean and toilets stank probably drain problem. Also trash/old bedding and new bedding on the floor in the hall just out of elevator blocking way not very professional cleaning it was there on floor all 3 days.

All the staff were exceptionally lovely, except one. The previous day we had asked another lovely staff member if we could leave our suitcases as our flight was late at night. HE was incredibly helpful and kind. He also arranged our taxi to the airport for us, clear and concise in all our dealings with him. The room was as expected. Super comfy bed, great shower, perfect for our needs in beautiful Paris.

Our only dislike was a staff member. We encountered him on our arrival and again on our departure. He was rude, everything was a drama, became annoyed after giving us unclear instructions regarding where to leave our suitcases then scoffed at how long we were leaving them. Everything seemed difficult in our dealings with him.

Very kind and accommodating front desk staff allowed us to store our luggage until our rooms were ready. Beautiful, sparkling clean hotel and rooms! Enjoyed the Ritual bath and body products provided in our rooms! We really appreciated the air conditioning, as it was very hot in Paris during our stay. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to many shops and cafe’s. Easy to order an Uber right out the front entrance if you’re not wanting to walk too far. The breakfast was amazing with breads, croissants, assorted cheeses, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, yogurts, etc. Something for everyone’s tastes.

Nothing—I loved this little hotel!

It was beautiful. Everything was spotless The place is ideally located. The breakfast buffet was absolutely worth it. The bedding was divine.

There was a slight problem with plumbing or pipes in our bathroom. It woke us up in the middle of the night with very loud draining noises. Hopefully it’ll be changed.

Hotel was at a good location, super close to Montparnasse Bienvenüe metro station which offer a few different lines. Seemed pretty central considering it was about 20 mins to each tourist attraction, as there was shops like McDonalds, Zara, Mango, Levi & Pandora on the street. There was quite a lot of wardrobe storage considering the room was quite small which was nice! And the decor was very modern. Bathroom had Rituals toiletries which was a nice touch. There was also a coffee machine in the room. If

Not much to say here as it was pretty good. Room was pretty small but when I was choosing somewhere to say it think for the price range this is normal Only 3 minor things which I would point out is- The hairdryer in the room was not ideal, have to keep your finger on the button for it to work (I have quite long thick hair so this was annoying) but for a free amenity you can’t complain, I would just maybe bring your own if this is something you need. Second thing was, there could do with a few more plug sockets. Lastly, we stayed for 3 night and the whole time we were stayed there was large linen bags in the hall way out side the lift on our floor. This wasn’t a major issue for us, but for someone one who struggles to walk/wheel chair user this could cause an issue.

Location. Friendliness of the staff. Quality of the breakfast was very good, and there was a varied selection. We had a comfort twin room and the size and firmness of the beds was very good. (But see my point below on the allergic reaction in the room, and overcrowing at breakfast.)

During the whole stay I had an allergic reaction when I went to sleep at night/laid down on the bed - my throat and eyes began itching. Maybe it was because the room was carpeted and had long curtains or the pillows/mattress need changing? My husband was fine, but I had to take an antihistamine tablet each evening to be able to sleep. The breakfast room was not very big and was very full/overcrowded on two mornings that we were there, as the hotel seems to rely on staggered arrivals, but on two occasions many guests came at the same time, and people had to wait for seating. However it did not take too long to be seated, and the staff were very quick to turn a table around as soon as one became free, which alleviated the situation very much.
