Absolutely incredible experience! The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the start. The food? Hands down the best I’ve ever had—every dish was bursting with unique flavor. The beach club, just a quick 10–15 min shuttle ride away, offered stunning views, fantastic drinks, and unforgettable food—those shrimp tacos were the best of my life. If you're looking to relax, eat like royalty, and be treated like a VIP, this is the place to be.

Having to put down a few hundred dollars as a deposit is understandable, but it’s still frustrating—especially in Canada, where using too much of your credit can hurt your credit score.

I loved the property- the room, facilities and all the restaurants were very well kept. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. They treated us very well. I truly have no complaints other than the fact that I eventually needed to go home! :-)

I think direct beach access would be my only preference not met. The shuttle is fast and convenient and a great substitute, but the ride was hot and a bit cramped— so I’d recommend a newer van with consistent climate control and leather/smooth seats, not fabric because visitors are potentially returning with wet clothes. The beach had more seaweed than I’d prefer, which is out of their control but I know some resorts will clean it off the beach to allow for clearer sand. That being said, the beach club itself was lovely and I’d definitely return again.

Modern, minimalist style building with stunning roof terrace, infinity pool and pool bar. Overall, beautiful hotel and location not bad if you’re more of a pool lover definitely for you as there’s also pools at ground level. Towels very easy to find and come by. Food was very good overall, some exceptions. Service very good overall.

Walls are paper thin, could hear alarm in the morning from room next door, music from next door, doors slamming, people talking in the general hallway etc. and would have expected a new build to have thought about sound proofing. Cleaning could improve some dirt in corners of my room but sheets and towels were clean. Service at breakfast was not great, no tea I was told on the rare occasion I managed to get drink service at breakfast. Beach is a 5-8 mins shuttle ride away, the beach club is very beautiful but if you want to be on the actual beach sun loungers are squished together and it can feel a bit too close to each other.

Our recent stay at Hyatt Vivid was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, it was evident that cleanliness is a top priority here. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. We had a friend in a wheelchair, and we were pleased to find that the hotel was fully accessible, making her stay comfortable and hassle-free. The culinary offerings at Hyatt Vivid exceeded our expectations. Each meal was a delightful experience, with the food being far better than we could have imagined. The variety of restaurants available made it hard for us to pick a favorite as each offered a unique and delicious dining experience. Entertainment at the hotel was top-notch. Whether it was enjoying the live performances or relaxing at the beach club, there was never a dull moment. The beach club, in particular, struck the perfect balance between lively and relaxing. Overall, our stay at Hyatt Vivid was filled with wonderful experiences. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness, the exceptional staff, the mouthwatering food, and the great entertainment made it a trip to remember. We highly recommend Hyatt Vivid for anyone looking for a fantastic getaway.

The app for the hotel could be improved.

Very nice hotel, however, staff at reception were not very informative. They told us nothing about the hotel and just took payment. We were also left waiting one hour before we could check in. A host asked us to sit down and wait for check-in but then seemed to have forgotten about us. I believe the staff at reception still need more training.

Room was not fully clean, there was dust, hair and dirt on the floor. I had to ask the cleaners to clean the floors when I arrived.

Welcome on arrival, greeters and transport organisers were excellent.Cleanliness throughout ,quality of food, drink and furnishings was very good.Good selection of different restaurants.Always space around pool with plentiful suply of towels.Waiting staff were very attentive in the evenings but at breakfast they seemed to be less so.

Breakfast food was only warm and not hot, often had a long wait for coffee. Mini bar in room was not topped up daily. We chose adult only hotel looking for a peaceful break but poolside was exceptionally noisy at times with different music being played from poolside bar and animation team at the same time and often very loud.The only times we tried to use the roof terrrace or beach club there was never any space.

We had and incredible time at this property. What stood out throughout was the outstanding hospitality by all staff members – right from check-in to housekeeping, room service, the restaurants, the bars, and the rooftop pool. The resort itself is stunning, and our room was spacious and comfortable. We were spoilt for choice when it came to the delicious food options and enjoyed every meal, particularly the breakfast buffet. The cocktails were top-notch too! Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing, and we can’t wait to return. We’ll definitely recommend Hyatt Grand Vivid Island to anyone visiting Cancun!
