The buffets in the main selection part and coral club where the best restaurants for sure. The beaches are well cleared from seaweed in the morning. All the staff are super helpful and friendly.

The Hibachi was just ok. the Steak house was a disappointment with the buffet. The souvenir shop is way overpriced 6$ for a medium sized bottle of water. The hotel give out free water but its filtered tap water so the taste is lacking.

Pools, food, drinks, beach! All was excellent!!

Coming from the Midwest cannot tolerate the heat. The room was 75°, asked for a fan and was told they did not have any. Would have liked the air conditioning to be turned down to at least seventy, but that did not happen. Also, the view from our room could have been much better. Big building in the way could see the ocean around the building. Sort of. The picture below is of the view from our room. When arrived at the airport was told that there was a shuttle but did not find one. Was hassled by the taxi drivers who charged $95 USD for a 20 minute ride. Very disappointed that the shuttle was not available.

The facilities, staff and food are great. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. At first we received the room that faced the kitchen and it was very loud, but the next day we were moved to a nicer and quieter room facing pool and the ocean.

We had in issue with UTI and asked the staff to call the ambulance, but they said they didn't have doctor onsite and generally couldn't understand the request. My wife had to live the the terrible pain until the morning, when we went to the doctor, who ran a checkup and called an ambulance.

The food was pretty good and had a ood selection. Staff folks were nice and attentive. Nice little pools everywhere for the little ones to enjoy and perfect location if you wanna go to the hotel zone.

The resort has certainly passed it's glory time and needs to be updated. The chairs in the buffet area were literally peeling and the room furniture and colors are from the 80s For the amount of money you pay it should be all nice. I would rate it as a 3 star hotel

The staff was just super! Friendly, helpful, always willing to help you. The facility is super clean, the pools are great.. the pool bar staff, awesome! The restaurant staffs, again..great.

Although there was plenty of food in the buffet, I have to say the flavors were bland at just about everything. We went to all but the Japanese restaurant, and even El Maguey, no sal, no pepper, no cumino, the Cilantro was tasteless and, where did you get jalapeños with no picante? I only saw tortillas during lunch buffet. I was disappointed in the food to say the least. On another note,my reservation for a king size bed went unnoticed, we had 2 doubles with no king available for a couple of days.

Staff was great, resort was good with lots of activities to do. Pool area and the beach is wonderful. View from our room was amazing. 24 hour coffee shop and bakery.

The AC in my room was exceptionally loud and was very disturbing. I didnt get good sleep on most nights. Food was decent but would have definitely liked to have more options. We ended up going to their main buffet restaurant a lot which got repetitive. A la carte specialty restaurants are only open for dinner.

Proximity to the beach, good location, short bus ride to downtown, walking distance from El Rey, very clean, and nice pools. Fun activities. Jamie from the entertainment team hosted a fantastic New Year’s Eve party. He was very friendly and kind.

There was an issue with the shower and the toilet in our room. But the staff was responsive and sent someone to fix it right away. I wish the restaurants opened earlier. It was difficult to get a table. I tried to reserve a table in the Japanese restaurant 3 days before our departure but it was booked.

Clean, close to the beach, sea view. Food in all restaurants, buffets, bars was amazing (except the Japanese), the staff were polite and efficient, helpful. Sometimes they did not understand English - but that’s perfectly fine and we did not mind that. Reception and check-in was very smooth. Food quality and variety was at par with the other 7 similar resorts we have been to Mexico (except Moon Palace Grand - but that’s in a different price range). Our kids love fresh fruits and juices, so they loved the watermelons and papayas and juices.

The washroom were a bit old and minor leaks, but not a significant issue. The Japanese restaurant food was not as flavoured as others we have been to, they used too much butter in the preparation but not enough flavour.
