Clean and small rooms contains fridge, microwave oven, TV, table and beds. In principle it's possible to eat inside the room, but a big kitchen with a lot af different stuff was also there. You can easily cook and eat in the kitchen as well. Behind the building there is a green yard with tables. A couple of common restrooms are pretty clean. The place was really chip and nice. Pets are allowed (surprisingly) without extra charge. Good place to stay 1-2 nights

-WiFi connection was poor or missing from time to time in the room. Especially in evenings. -It was a closed door between two rooms (my and neighbours'), and all sounds through this door I can hear perfectly. Mornings it was very difficult to sleep, because neighbours left the room very early (at 4.30-5.30) an it was loud.

Excellent situation in the middle of the village. Nice way of having services without staff. Hostel kind of accommodation with kitchen etc. Nice sauna was included, too.

No air condition so the night was long and sweaty.

Everything worked just as expected. The room was nice and quiet, the location was very convenient, the price was good and the hot shower was exceptionally nice.

The sauna happened to be out of order.

Close to Lappeenranta and easy to reach by car, located in the main street of Joutseno. A grocery store and a pharmacy on the other side of the street. No proper cooling system, so the room was very hot; did not want to keep the window open, as the room was located on the ground floor. Room equipped with a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a fridge. The room was very basic but enough for one night. A bit on the expensive side, considering that the facility is not very modern and the services are very basic.

Everything was good

Due to covid-19 restrictions, I couldn't attend on breakfast, go to sauna nor try the gym had I had the time, thus I cannot rate those. The friendly staff was the first thing that caught my eye in good way. 😉 Then I saw the corridor leading to the opposite end of the gasthaus and to my room; it was decorated in a very modern and posh-hotel-like way. The room was also rather comfy and fit the theme. I used a water boiler next to coffeemaker. Bed was comfy for one night and the opposite side of the room was covered with windows. The name of the gasthaus was nicely and clearly put and well lit on the side the building. Location couldn't have been more suitable for my quick visit.

I found the transparent plastic spoons on table to be unsuitable for their intended use of mixing hot tea or coffee. Sound attenuation was also poor; I could hear other guests talking in the room next to. Not that they even tried to talk quietly, but it's not nice to have to wake up when other guests are leaving in the morning, or stay up until they go to sleep. Killed a silverfish in the bathroom.
