We have stayed here for many years for our Swim Meets at the Kinsmen. It is such a great location, within walking distance to many great restraunts and just across the river from the pool. Beds are comfy, rooms are big enough. Breakfast is good, as long as you get there at the right time. It is so appreciated when it can open early for the swim teams.

Crazy busy breakfast Monday of the long weekend at 9:15, I have never seen it like that before. But we understand as it is a long weekend.

We travelled to Edmonton for my son's taekwondo tournament. We arrived a bit late and the staff at the reception quickly processed our reservation. Very helpful staff. They accommodated our requests such as very early good breakfast for my son. The location is excellent, close to the sports center. The indoor pool was heated which was excellent for night swimming. The room was quite clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable. Excellent hotel in Edmonton! Will surely come back soon ❤️

Nothing at all

The breakfast was pretty good. They have an automatic pancake machine which was super fun. The coffee was nice and strong too. My room had a fridge and microwave which was super convenient. The room was clean and I really like the balcony. It's so nice to get the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful skyline. The staff are super helpful and supportive. My fav hotel in downtown Edmonton with really high value for money. Be sure to ask for a balcony room at time of check in, you'll love it.

The price is just a tad little bit high for a Holiday Inn Express but most HIEs don't offer balconies so I guess you get what you pay for in this world.

I love the fact that they keep breakfast going until 930. Too many hotels close breakfast too early to take advantage of it. I love the balcony rooms. I have asthma and sleep apnea and brief periods of fresh air make a big difference especially in the winter. The location is fantastic right downtown and the staff are very helpful.

So a lot of times I book with booking.com and I book a room with a balcony but when I get to the property, I am booked in a non-balcony room. Thankfully, this hotel has no problem fixing that issue but one time that happened at the Airport Sandman in Toronto can't fix it so I wish you guys would sort that out. Also my washroom didn't have a waste bin, which was not a big deal but just a bit of a surprise. Oh yeah, the automatic pancake maker machine ran out of batter halfway through my order so I only got one pancake lol for real I was a bit disappointed. Other than that I really had a fantastic stay and I really like the hotel because of the design of the property offering balcony rooms and the location is top notch! Keep up the good work.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I liked how the room came with things such as microwave and mini fridge. The location was within walking distance of Roger's Place; very convenient.

The parking lot entrance wasn't easy to find and the hotel charges extra for parking.

Breakfast was very good. Staff working breakfasts were friendly and very helpful.

I had hoped there would have been a family restaurant in the establishment . Most people don’t want Indian food for lunch and dinner or for two or three days in a row. I am sure the food was delicious but the smell of curry upon entering a hotel lobby can be less than welcoming.

The staff was amazing. They were so sweet and willing to help in any way.

The housekeeping wasn't the greatest inside the room and also outside the room. When we got to our room and set our bags down to open the door, I noticed a lot of mess on the carpet. Inside wasn't as bad, but the jacuzzi tub was not fully cleaned on the inside. I had to use a face cloth to remove the sticky stuff left from the last patrons. For the price I definitely expect a much cleaner area, also the bathroom wasn't in great condition.

Overall nice hotel. Liked the location, room with balcony, and laundry room. Laundry room was clean and convenient. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

Pool was dirty and needed more water. Hot tub/spa was good. Jets may need some maintenance. Steps leading up to spa could be wider to limit fall risk. Pool restroom shower and sauna closed. Laundry dryers need to be calibrated. Started both dryers one had 91 minutes and other 71.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was great. It had many options, and was very convenient. The hotel is walking distance to Roger's Place Arena and many other restaurants and pubs.

We had to park in a public parking lot next to the hotel and were charged $20 per day.

The front desk, staff, and the stuff for breakfast in the morning we’re excellent. My room was dated but clean and functional.

I was in the property eight or nine months ago and complained that it was unclean in the entry area and in many public spaces. They have improved all aspects of the facility.
